The Luminari riots are down to about 100 pilots from around 400 strong.

The Jita protests are at 1300, down from 1500, but reports are indicating the server is still closed out, as the upper limit has been reduced from 1500 to 1300 on the server side.

An interesting development was the decision - by people who are against the protesters - to organise the Luminaire riots. I strongly urge protesters to check the posting history of those who suggest any new protests that will take numbers away from the central protests.

One of the Luminaire riot organisers had this to say about the protesters (and no, he is not a role-player!):

It's interesting to see so many completely false reports and statements doing the rounds in the last week - and also interesting to see how much of that completely false and incendiary information has been passed around by known communists/socialists.

CCP are getting meta-gamed by a small group of trouble-makers who enjoy spreading lies and stirring people up just for the sake of it. It began last week with the false "Twitter" rumours started by a known communist, and they continue to this day with a hard-core faction who are stirring things up for the sake of it.

Keep your eyes and ears open - there are ways to defeat this kind of information warfare and it begins by monitoring the ringleaders who spread the disinformation. There is absolutely no logic or reason to the current whining or so-called protests, except the logic of disinformation and left-wing anarchy.

As we arrive on the scene of JITA, it looks like the protests are STILL going strongly. Today, the conga is identifiably in a more vertical fashion in relation to the solar axis.

Local is at 1700 and maxed out, however lag is more tolerable. Perhaps CCP has taken this opportunity to work on mass test code and fix some lag concerns? Or have they pumped up the workhorse behind the system?

Local Chatter seems to be less flooding and perhaps an opportunity for discussion is a bit more productive.

On the side of CCP, The Senior Producer has announced on twitter a "Blog with 100% more Love" is being written.

Amarr Protests are continuing, however the quantity of protesters seems quite reduced - 600 in local and the Statue is well lit up by only a hundred pilots or so.

The Riots seem to have picked up in Amarr (Jita still being strongly overwhelmed) since the unconfirmed news of Sony and CCP in talks. 200 more people in Amarr.

Extended Video of the Jita Protests from This morning are up.

The video is in 2 parts and focuses on extended views of the most beautiful light show. Music is from the EVE Radio playing in the background.

The Jita Conga line has ended.

This may be a sign that the protest may have accepted the devblog's response.

However, many pilots are still lighting up the statue. Can not confirm if the protest is continuing or players are simply just continuing the light show.

The JITA light show continues, however the Mass-Protest channel is now down to 450 from 650+.

The Devblog has to at least somewhat made a significant portion of the pilots protesting to take a step back.

The pilots at the John Turbefield Statue seem to have formed a mini-conga line of about 10 ships, but this is far eclipsed by the 40KM+ long Conga line that is shown in the videos above.

Looks like the Protest organizers are considering the blog a success as a response.

They are telling players to not resubscribe until the results of the talks are clear from the CSM.

They are also planning on continuing demonstrations on the 2nd of July.

I hope this thread and our survey thread will help everyone, including CCP to get a grasp on the timeline and kept the general populace up to date.

I feel that most of this will settle down until this next weekend.

I want to thank the Community Managers, especially Fallout and Zymurgist for their incredible patience and in my opinion fairness in dealing with the last few days of "assault" on the forums.
