The Live Stream published here isn't ongoing, however it is broken into 8 2 hour segments, meaning the protest has at least gone on for 16 hours on record non-stop.

As of this posting, we believe the Protesting has gone on for 24 hours with the exception of downtime - non-stop to our knowledge. Any reports of how quickly the protests continued post downtime has to be confirmed.

We do not know yet how it all will end, but being myself in the demos (I have not [$]68, let me at least that!), I can assure you that the atmosphere is electric. Fewer and fewer players are indifferent to this wave of discontent. Bug of the spam control system or not, but after being disconnected 5 times and then simply transferred from GM to have once said "." In a chat system, I think that the mood in Iceland not be very peaceful either.

We've got a thread started with some interviews of people affected by the protesting. Please have a read and feel free to add your own answers to the questions. We are interesting in all sides of the debate.

The Jita Conga line is about encompassed 270 degrees around the John Turbenfield Monument.

Rumors are buzzing around that the CSM was invited to Iceland ~ but sketchy sources make this highly unlikely to be accurate.

Some players have taken it on themselves to attempt to quantify the financial loss of CCP if all the subscribers who claim they are leaving are being genuine.

Monocles Per Day attempts to quantify that number in terms of monocles that need to be sold per day to equal the cost to CCP.

I'm on the move between Rens to Dodixie and what is striking is that most of the systems between here have some local chatter about either the protesting generally, or the big questions around the impact of microtransactions. I'll report back with what's happening in Dodixie soon.

Jita Economic Report :

Tritanium Volume Sold seems to be steady statistically, however there are some aberrant purchases which seem to be unusual, perhaps indicating that people are being forced to get Tritanium outside of Jita. The lowest low is 2.00 isk for Tritanium sold and the High is 28 ISK, apparently someone had purchased Tritanium at 10x average value.

Megacyte is heavily behind average consumption for today however, showing siilar patterns to overpriced and underpriced purchasing as it seems that Jita residents may be forced to be dealing with external systems to acquire or sell their minerals.

Other mineral indexes seem to be holding up to standard predictions.

Processed Moon Materials seem to be heavily affected by the protests however, showing in general a very noticable reduction in quantities purchased across some of the moon material markets - most likely due to the difficulty in consistent freighter traffic moving in and out at a steady pace to deliver or export the bulky materials.

Sales of Battleships seems to be consistently low for a weekend as well - most likely mission runners acquainted with refitting battleships in Jita at a convenience being forced to move to other trade hubs in nearby regions. This also applies to the sale of Hurricanes, Myrmidons and Harbingers.

Sales of Rifters seems to be noticably low as well.

And with that, I end the economic impact report on Jita.

Reports coming in from Perimeter of someone recruiting in local for a protest attack on the Caldari Navy Titan currently present in Luminaire. We've a reporter moving to that system to observe.

We've over 400 pilots in Luminaire now. They don't seen to be scratching the Titan's shields though.

The Titan is showing little signs of damage as around 300+ Capsuleers are opening fire. The majority seem to be smaller ships and Drakes.

A contingent of 50+ battleships is also on site engaging.

An overdue apology and request for parley thread has reached 9000 posts, and 300+ pages.

No response from CCP seems imminent.

No sign of an apparently promised Massively Interview with CCP Zulu.

Unsure if this is still in the works, or if it has been postponed.

It seems the Icelandic Media has started to take notice of the ongoing riots. The online edition of one of the 3 largest newspapers (called DV) in the country just published a story on the matter.

http://www.dv.is/frettir/2011/6/25/allt-brjalad-innan-eve-online/

It's in icelandic so not many can read it here but they seem to have figured out the anger is about MT's and the possibility of buying non-vanity items and perhaps skills for $$ in the future.
