Been using that version with no problems(cept that white box that apears when click-dragging the mouse in cq still) so far. As for the snow/white pixel effects in the CQ it's easily fixed by turning up the Post Processing to High(doesn't really effect fps).

Using 275.09.07 via Arch64.
and wine 1.3.22:

The only issue, other than low fps in CQ is the white cursor box.

Compiling wine 1.3.23 as I type this.

I started using 275's yesterday, and so far no problems at all, besides the mouse cursor turning into a white square while dragging around in CQ.

Hi threre,

After Incarna i got a severe performance drop.
Before Incarna: 50fps with all settings maxed out.
After Incarna: <10fps, 15fps with all settings to low.

I got fed up with it and went to holydays for 2 weeks ;). No change after that.

As i had several other issues with this new Ubuntu i switched to Debian Mint. Same problems here.

After messing around with the experimental branch of Debian it got a lot better. (50-100fps with all settings maxed out)

In all cases i used the 275.09.07 NVidia driver with 32bit libs installed. The Wine version seemed to be irrelevant)
The version of wine i use now is wine-1.1.32 (I also tried compiling 1.1.31 or something like that, but with no effect)
All tests were made in a clean prefix with only corefonts and vcredist installed and no changes to user.reg (Direct3D). It also seems that the content of xorg.conf makes no difference.

The only thing i cant get to work is Anitaliasing. Anyone got a clue?

Regards,
Lycosa

btw: I got a few fps more when using the older 260.xx.xx driver.

edit:

forgot to mention some details:
- ASUS P5K Premium
- Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40GHz @ 2.7GHz
- 8GB RAM @ 1066MHz
- NVidia GTX460
- SB Audigy2

- Debian Mint Edition (experimental)

Hi,

i got that white square cursor since the new character generator... Did it just appear after 275?

On my system it appeared on CQ; when Incarna shipped, I was using 270.x.

The CG never had such cursor glitches.

1 addendum to this. The open pod in CQ shows up as jet black, and there are some black colored areas around the entry to the "room" as well. Looks like a few things aren't rendering properly.

Other than that, no issues save for the ongoing white cursor box.
