Jeez! If you voted CSM in, you have to believe they're representing your views. If you you didn't then you've no right to complain. Thanks for the update Trebor and GL for tomorrow. Don't forget all of us... :) |

@Trebor_csm (16.56) NEX store / pricing meeting winding down. Tough, but if CCP explains to you the way they explained to us, less butthurt #csm6 #tweetfleet
"...if CCP explains to you the way they explained to us..."
WTF? So in short CSM is now in support of NeX, the current pricing structure, future expansions to include non-vanity items, and all that on top of what I would have been paying in sub fees if I were still subscribed - is that about right?
That must be some powerful good explaining they have there. It just glosses over all our concerns and problems with the current situation (which includes far more than just the price of imaginary items in hard currency) and makes it all better. I think I need some of that and I wonder why I didn't get it from the beginning. |

Thats enough for me. No interest whatsoever in WIS or being forced to load the environment, I'm a spaceship not a ken doll. The last 7 years has been great fun and I'll miss a lot of people but the game is going where I do not wish to go. The last of my 8 accounts expires in 4 days. bye. |

They said they're taking a whole bloody day to argue the point. Sheesh.
Let them have their rounds. When all is said and done and you still think there's bull$#!t, just leave.
Yes (when), no. End of story and drama. Why does it need a whole day? That's all 3/4 of protesters needed. We lived with failed expansions in the past, heck, even the boot.ini was a more spectacular failure than the little problems of Incarna. But that MT crap is the summum of the farce... if it takes a whole day of arguments about non-vanity stuff, you can be sure it's there and will show up at one point or another. The question then becomes: WHEN!! |

You *already know* they aren't going to "roll back Incarna", they aren't going to completely remove the new NEX store, MT will be here to stay, its merely a matter of extent at this point. You already have the answer to what you want done, it's not happening. I know CCP created this ****storm by clamming up about it, but with the way this forum community reacts I don't blame them.
Personally, with reasonable prices I'd probably buy some vanity items (ship paints/skins, maybe clothes, whatever) because who cares, to me ISK is funny money.
Another CCP fanbois whose bending over faster than a catamite ready to give CCP the reach-around. |

Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to suffering.
Micro transactions are not fundamentally evil, nor is Incarna. Things change, games like eve change and the market they operate in changes. People need to stop fearing change.
Before I played eve the idea you could drop a load of cash and buy a pimped-out character that would -always- greatly exceed anything any character made in the last two years could do, I'd have stopped reading about the game right there. Still, here I am, having put no £ besides my sub into eve and having a great time.

CCP, or rather, whoever is actually in charge - they're not completely braindead. Already, they've cost themselves more money in unsubbed accounts than they've made in microtransactions.
This trend inevitably will continue, so long as CCP does anything other than permanently guarantee via EULA that PLEX/AUR/MT for remap, skillpoints, ships, modules, rigs, subsystems, sovereignty, anchorables, boosters, ammunition, scripts, blueprints, materials, invention, industry, and any/all other non-vanity items will NEVER exist. Ideally, in the EULA, CCP will be unable to change that part, and if they break that part of the EULA, they incur any and all legal fees involved in the resultant lawsuit(s).
This should be one of the demands made by the CSM's and the players.
After all, if CCP did agree to this, would we, the playerbase, be reasonably satisfied? |

Microtransactions are evil. I won't be playing a game where all CCP cares about is pushing microtransactions, while doing little to improve the actual game play that I HAD been paying for. My 4 subscriptions was not enough for CCP? Fine. I will cancel my subscriptions and see if they prefer 1 less customer. |

I don't know what you guys expect from this CSM meeting.
I was laughing at the CSM's initial attitude that "we're gonna go there and show CCP what's what." CCP could have communicated with the CSM via email or tweets or whatever other online method, and the only thing that makes sense in my mind as a reason for paying for their tickets to get them on the premises is to have the whole CSM team sign a new NDA, then recruit them as PR to help fix the bad publicity.
Why do you think they're there?
You're all asking if the NEX cash-for-ships and cash-for-skills will be implemented... YES THEY WILL otherwise CCP would have said categorically NO by now. They're in financial trouble, they're losing their company, they will "fix" it the only (idiotic) way they know how.
Such drama on the forums. Any sane person stops paying for something they don't like, and if said thing improves they come back, otherwise they stay away. |

We make sure CCP knows why we are quitting, and we try to recruit others to quit too. CCP could care less if 1 person quits. They care a lot more about 100,000 people quitting. |

You do realize that when one says it has cancelled subscription, the remaining time left in his/her current subscription is still active, no? And most players currently wants to hear the outcome of the CSM-CCP meeting. I have one toon that will end on July 27, the other on the 2nd week August, although i haven't decided to leave for good or stay, my toons are currently unsubscribed. |

I agree, but this 400 page thread is about emo-quitting, so apparently that means "angrily push the cancel subscription button, then make an angry post, then log in and play as normal?" |
