I cancelled one,

I have two other accounts due to renew at end of july will review my position then, does not look good. Was considering running only one account for a while, prob will do.


To those who think it does not matter about 'rage quitting' for every 100 accounts not running for a month CCP lose ~$4000 in lost revenue and an unknown amount in PLEX bought by those players to sell for AUR/ISK. Plus if people move away from a product once, they are more likely to do it again at another time. Also people leaving could find another game and move away forever.

In 6 years I have never seen so much angry in the community. Twisted Evil

And I may return, but this will all depend on CCP's actions in the coming days/weeks/months. Tbh, if you are able to buy faction standings, battleships and ammo/etc with AUR, the player-driven market will be no more and so will my interest in this game.

I'm sure many will hang on, because you don't give a crap about the market. But here's the deal, once CCP run off all the hardcore industrialists, how are you gonna afford all those ganking tempests? I'll tell you how: AUR to save the day!!! Rolling Eyes Have fun kiddies and hope to see you in the next player-driven, free market, sandbox mmo that comes out, even if it doesn't involve spaceships. I didn't unsubbed, but cancelled the automatic renewal (by blocking the credit card to International transactions).

Waiting to see where CCP really want to push the game before any renewal.

i play with plex on both my accounts, but i resubbed them just to cancel them again.

still have 3 weeks of game time on each.
it's CCP's move to make me feel like carrying on playing.

I unsubscribed four accounts. I will sell four of my five main characters. These were put on Character Bazaar forum today:

Some of those characters were created in 2003 when I first started playing, the rest are >2005. I have had enough of CCP and the lies and bull***t. I will take the one remaining character Zervun (100M SPs) and convert all my current isk (30b) to PLEX's, then to Aurum. After that I'll go to the store and buy a new suit and a fine monocle. Jump into the most expensive ship I can find in Jita on contract, undock, self-destruct, pod myself and then biomass then character.

Thanks for the fun times CCP, but you really screwed it up in the end.

I had no choice but to cancel.

I could have waited for a response from CCP on the newsletter. I could have waited for changes to CQ and Incarna. I could have waited to see if CCP got the message from its customer base and acted accordingly.

However...Incarna destroyed hardware on my PC. I was one of the lucky ones in that it only fried my PSU. It only cost me $100 instead of $1000 or more. But I just can't support a company who broke the inherent trust between company and customer. As a customer, we trust that you, as a company, will not release software that is potentially damaging to your customers property. Code was released into a production environment that was flawed and that had the potential to damage hardware with no warning to the customer. It is inexcusable that this made it out of QA without the QA team catching the flaws. Your company's mistakes ended up costing me $100 and some people much more.

I was really enjoying EVE. It is a shame that something that people were looking forward to actually ruined the game. I hope that CCP can learn from these errors and grasp the concept that in order to make money from customers, you have to make customers happy. We are not here to be taken advantage of. We are not a money well that CCP can dip it's bucket into endlessly with no care for our concerns, cares or rights as consumers.

I had to answer these transgressions the only way I could and in a language that CCP appears to understand all too well. With my wallet.

Canceled 2, not a fan of what I've seen with the newsletter, and the incarna 'exspansion' was a joke. Runs like ****, controls are a pita, and I can't even leave my quarters. They should have kept that **** in WoD where it belongs, I'm tired of being the testbed for a buncha twilight fans and furries.
