Hi!
In 3 days Astrometric Pinpointing IV is finished and I don't know what to train. I currently own 3 active accounts, where one is a science and industrial char, the other two are for PVP, and between them can fly basically most subcap ships in the game; they're also good at PVE.

The S&I character is pretty much maxed out in the areas I want, with 100+ probe strength for scanning and all, but I still want to keep 3 accounts for multiboxing purposes. I'm considering starting a fresh character, but I do not know what purpose this char would have.
As mentioned, I already have 2 PVP characters, so that seems a bit excessive. I don't really need a dedicated PVE toon, as both my PVP chars can do that just fine. Nor am I interested in another indy alt. What to do?

What's really keeping me from starting a new character, is all the support skills. Even though training skills are long gone, there are still a lot of cap/electronic/tanking skill which would be needed. Therefore I am thinking about just finding another area for my S&I char to branch into.
But what? Maybe start a pure RP character? A character for cheap PVP? Another character for generating more ISK flow (What could that be?)? Obviously no one else can't decide for me, but some input and fresh perspective might help; maybe someone has an angle I haven't considered at all.

Thanks for reading! Let me know if there's more relevant information I could provide. Smile

Why not keep improving your characters?

Make one a capital pilot, and cross train the other into additional races.

Take all your support skills to Level V. Can you fly your ships perfectly? Get those level 4 skills to level 5. Are all your support skills at level 5?

Take those Astrometric skills to V. Take pride in being an expert in what you do and not merely adequate.

I think another character is the worst idea. Keep improving the S&I guy.

I agree with Ford, get the astro skills all at 5. Train for a Perfect T3. Perfect Cyno, POS Gunner, Perfect Leadership, etc. etc. Since it is not your main PvP pilot , make him the best alt ever born.

I'm essentially on the same page, I think. I've pretty much decided on training one PVP character for all subcaps, while speccing the other for a race's capitals (EVen though I'm not too interested in cap warfare atm). But as far as my support alt goes, I'm still not sure. I don't really scan enough to justify training all scanning skills and such to V. I've got all skills I really need in S&I to the adequate level, and training them further will mean I won't utilize the skills.

I'm trying to explore more exciting alternatives to continuing training all those boring skills. Razz Thanks for the input!
