hi, i have a new dell xps L502x laptop with a gt540m 2GB nvidia graphics card on. i'm just wondering when i log on, EVE doesnt recognise the gt540m nvidia card and only picks up on the intelHD card on the display options? i've tried forcing it on the nvidia control panel to select "high performance nvidia processor" but it still doesnt seem to register when i log in? any suggestions? cheers, MS |

Petition it and do what they ask you to do. If that doesn't work, submit a bug report and supply Dxdiag file and the other reports they've requested. That is one seriously strange bug. Everything driver wise is fully updated yes? |

Hi, I have a laptop with a GT555M, and I see the integrated intel card in the eve client display settings too. But this is not an issue: the actual fps on the laptop is higher than on my desktop 9600GT, that means the laptop uses the nVidia card, but you can't see it in the client. The reason may be this: "Technically, only the integrated graphic card is attached to the display connections (internal and external) and always outputs the displayed images. As soon as an application needs the performance of the discrete Nvidia graphic card, the driver enables it and computes the images with it. The result isn't (as it would usually be) directly outputted but is simply copied into the output memory (frame buffer) of the integrated graphic card via PCI-E bus." Make sure Eve is added to the Optimus whitelist. You may need to manually add it so it is associated with the correct .exe and will switch to the 540M. |

Even after I've added to the list on optimus, Eve is still telling me that it is running on the integrated graphics. How do I fix this? |
