There were several questions where none of the answer options reflected my feelings. Some question formats apparently don't allow it, but I think it would be nice if you added a few 'None Of The Above's.

Sadly at this point I cant without wiping the data we have already accrued and closing the survey again.

If you could specify which questions you would have selected None fo the above on though, I will keep it in mind and talk about it whenever I post result updates, as relevant.

It might boost CCP's morale to know that 75% of respondents want them to succeed beyond supporting eve online, and 53% feel that eve has had a big and positive impact on their life. 92% of players support a good new player experience.

57% of people feel that eve is going somewhere, but only 9% feel its going somewhere they want it to go.

50% of all respondents feel that eve should, above all else, be fun, and props to the person who said eve should be Cutthroat and hardcore, I salute you sir (or madam)!

Pretty good survey, the results you've posted so far are pretty much exactly as I would have expected them to be.

I was hoping they would be more positive, to be honest, but still, perhaps it'll be a wakeup call.

This is prolly the best feedback initiative CCP management could get their hands to. Different issue is will they redirect it straight to /dev/bin or actually do something about it.

Sample size is a bit small, so lets work hard getting it bigger.

I'd really like to get 3000 answers, because that would be well beyond the number of people who just post on the eve-o forums.

Thats hardly surprising. The survey hasn't moved much beyond the forums yet, and most of the people on the forums will be hardcore players.

More interesting answers to the custom description field of what eve should be.

Two more good ones:

Eve should be fair, and eve should be different from mainstream MMO's.

Good job with the survey

I think you should update the results so we can have an idea

Also, I think CCP should take the survey under serious consideration

Like most people around here, I'm feeling a little cut up over this whole situation. I don't deny negativity has probably slipped though, but I'm too blinkered to see it.

As it stands, I still maintain these are all questions that should be getting positive answers, and I welcome any initiative from CCP to make their own, more neutral survey (provided it still covers the important areas and gathers real data), and distribute it more widely.
