EVE Online: Incarna has been deployed. Incarna 1.0 features Captain’s Quarters, the new Nobel Exchange, new graphics and animations for turrets, and a lot more. Please check the patch notes for full details.

When reporting issues, please specify which client you are using (Mac or PC). This thread is for reporting issues only; for general feedback please use this thread.

Known Issues


  • MAC *fixed* - We have discovered an issue with the Mac client patch and this has been corrected. Mac users are now able to patch.

  • MAC - If you previously patched the Mac client a fix is available. See this thread by CCP Mandrake.

  • MAC - Right click menu is laggy and unresponsive.

  • Unable to move in your CQ after docking while previously undocking while sitting on the couch. Workaround: Make your character stop being so lazy by relogging

  • Client crashing while undocking. Workaround: You can turn turn of the clothing simulation in the display and graphics settings.

  • Updated: Windows - The full client installer from the download page should now work. If you are still experiencing issues you can see this post by CCP Atropos for a work around.

  • Capital ships are missing the jump drive range bubble on the map.

  • In some cases scan probes and missiles may not get all respective bonuses from skills/implants/etc when you board the ship. To resolve this issue, please empty your launchers and load them again.

  • Bonuses are not applied to drones when the ship is boarded from the maintenance array. To resolve this issue, remove the drones from the drone bay and put them back in.

  • Fixed - EVE Voice should now work correctly.

  • Fixed - Characters can now finish recustomizing while station environment is disabled.

  • Fixed - Pirate Implants are not appearing in your character's head and not applying their bonus. Do not panic as they are still there, just invisible.

** First - Mac delay
When you first fire up the client after the install. The client is invisible for 5 minutes with no indication that it is actually working in the background. It is moving files to new directories and you can't see anything going on. Then when you get mad, go to the living room to pick up the sandwich your threw over there, it pops up working (not that I did that).

** Second - Captains Closet... errrr Quarters I mean delay
When you first fire up the CQ, there again is a one time delay (but not sure why). It seems to grow less each time you dock afterwards so I bet they are caching files or something.

** Third - Mac Client Start
So far I'm not getting the BSD. Black Screen of Death, so please pat the back on the team or person that figured it out, and I expect to read about it in a future blog or something, because after six months, we really deserve an explanation.

** Fourth - I had no choice in this
This is me now. But ya know... I think I like it and going to keep it. I am the first Alien in Eve. Cool. Not sure if it is an issue or feedback, but it's made of pure LOLZ.

My repair tool is constantly failing.

I dl'd the patch via the auto-patcher. After the dl was complete, I received the message:

the data package C;\ProgramData\CCP\EVE\downloads\EVEPREMIUM.6.45.267203-7.10.271273.7z is broken, do you wish to have the repair tool to attempt to fix it?

I click yes. The repair tool (v3.24) runs and returns with this message:

One machine won't run it at all after the downlaod patched. This machine won't download the patch. Antone know about any issues with Macs?

I downloaded it, then it said Incarna was not verfiable and asked if I wanted to try again. I did, but it said there was an error and would not download at all. Help?

I installed the patch on both my Macs and then it wouldnt let my type my password in to log on.

The OP pretty much said we have to install a whole new client.

Waiting for 5 minutes now for the station to load at low settings, on a e6600/4gb ram/7900GT setup. I see random UI elements jumping around, weird camera angles, textures not loaded, and various sound buzzing glitches while waiting for my system to catch up.

Back to QA please.

edit: Lost all of UI now, client unresponsive.

So, how do you get your mouse cursor to actually appear? Once I click anywhere in station it disappears for good -- even in the menu, This is on a PC. Unchecking "load station environment" makes the cursor work as expected.

Sorry, my computer is a Mac. And I keep trying it, but it tells me to go to support, which does not help.

If the repair tool is failing, try deleting or moving the file(s) that the repair tool indicates is causing the problem. This should resolve the repair tool issue(s).

Ok one machine doen't work (shader3) killed it. Won't even start. and this machine is not downloading the patch. Looking at 3 accounts and thinking about what I can do with them money I save. :)

Same here, simply can't type/paste in password for Mac client updated, that's a whole 40 minutes downloading for the patch and now we are told to download the FULL client..........head-desk ugh

I can log into the game, however once I select my character and try to enter the game, I get the message "CCP ExeFile has stopped working" and the game crashes. Any thoughts on how to fix this?

This is a crashing issue on a PC, not a Mac

The new captains quaters looks awesome.... at 8fps =(

Before Incarna docked station FPS: 60
After Incarna docked station with 3D Environment: 8
After Incarna docked station without 3D Environment: 10

I found it quite laggy before this patch to use the UI in the stations, now after this patch is is near impossible =(

Below is my specs:

Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit
AMD Phenom(tm) 9500 Quad-Core Processor (4 CPUs), ~2.2GHz
3584MB RAM
GeForce 8600 GT 256mb

Hopefully there is a bug than can be fixed, or else I will be unable to play the game when ever am docked in a station without cracking up =/

What are your hardware specifications?
Does this happen every time you try and log in?
