I would make a list of ships in need of a new skin but it's easier to make a list of ships which don't need one.
Minmatar: Rifter hulls, Vigil hulls, Firetail, Dramiel, Hurricane, maybe the Mealstrom.
Caldari: Merlin hulls, Kestrel hulls, Condor hulls, Heron hulls, Hookbill, Cormorant hulls, Ferox hulls, Scorpion hulls.
Gallente: Catalyst hulls, Comet, Daredevil, Megathron hulls.
Amarr: Punisher hulls, Executioner hulls, Magnate hulls, Sicer, Omen hulls, Arbitrator hulls, Maller hulls, Apocalypse hulls, Armageddon hulls, Abaddon hulls.

Oh one hand the tempest needs a ship re-model... on the other hand oh god the typhoon.
I think the biggest thing is that the "industrial" look of the newer Minmatar ships like the Maelstorm and Hurricane is just so much better than the "scrapheap" look of the older Minmatar ships. |

Pick a ship that you think is absolutely FUGLY. The ship is so bad that if it was a dog, you'd take it outside and shoot it out of pity...
Now realise that somewhere, someone loves that ship and will scream bloody murder if you change it. |

Many who flew the Dominix back in the old lo-res days fondly remember the first time they flew a potato.
I assume many don't understand or remember, but it used to be almost entirely flat brown.

You forgot some of the best looking models in game, like Prophecy and Myrmidon hulls. |

Call me crazy, but when I was very new to the game I kinda liked its looks. But maybe that was just because it was the biggest of the cruisers and super-expensive for a noob. Still wouldnt say its ugly, though I tend to enjoy rather weird-looking designs in scifi movies as well as far as spaceships go. |
