I am waiting for this change, and hope that the other faction station interiors will follow very soon(!) to avoid immersionbreaking.

Also Im wondering what will actually be on sale in the noble store, and how badly will those expensive clothes glitch when I havent had a chance to test them Smile

CCP, Stop being so immature about making your new baby play with all the older kids all the time whether they want to or not, even when he's a spazzing quarter formed fetus that is making everyone run around and roll in the dirt in the garden when everyone else would rather stay indoors. Instead of trying to be a proud parent and making everyone acknowledge that your baby is still a beautiful person as well, just accept the fact that Incarna still has much more room to grow while simultaneously not impacting everyone else's gameplay.
What really infuriates me is how you completely went against everything, PF Lore, game design, and player demand in making the statement "one day there will be no Incarna, there will only be EVE" knowing full on well JUST HOW MUCH IT'S NEEDED, and then refusing to say another words about it.

You have got to be some serious asshats if you don't put the option to sit in our ships back into the game.
JUST TALK TO US. Just give us one single rational reason for why you have removed this, or for ****s sake, put it back. and if you are so ignorant as to reply to us again and just tell us it's working perfectly, ignoring all the other reasons why it's needed, then you must have all lost your marbles and you are most definitely killing EVE.

I guess you only use Missle Launcher's to then, because in a way every weapon in the game is new, with these new turrets, but i still can't even see my precious Missle Launchers

I have been waiting since 2004 to see my Missle Launchers on my ship CCP :(

I've been wondering about this too, I want to see my missile launchers dammit! As for Incarna, meh, I'll withhold judgement until i actually play around with it a bit when it goes live.

After the release of Incarna, will we still be able to log into EVE without an avatar?

I hear something was mentioned during AT, but could the details be posted in the forums.

Most useless Expansion in my eyes. Performance is killing even a high end machinge with walking in this Captains quater. I would suggst that the Overview bugs that exist get fixedand and some other annoying things like member and member right management. Rights for alliance Members to do things on a POS ... lots of long time open points...

I pray that eve will NOT get a space WoW.

PLEASE give the old pilots the option to select if they want to use the station things or not.

thanks

So far not impressed.
If SiSi is any indication, this will be another bug filled patch without real feature or feel.

Here we are at 12 hours, 32minutes and change according to the Incarna countdown and still no patch notes?
For those who have not yet, put in as long a skill as you can - say, maybe a week or two long. Go out for pizza and a movie, take a long drive through the country and enjoy some local ethnic food.

Right before you come back, make sure to say farewell to your family and friends, as you will likely be committing suicide shortly thereafter.

That timer may be off (mine's sitting at 13h 40m, which is still today, not 5 UTC tomorrow), but so are the patch notes.

Here's to hoping CCP will iterate their excellence soon.

I'll follow your advice and set another pointless long level 5 skill.

Edit: Oh look, a wild apology appears:

Full patch notes are coming up today (apologies for the delay, it took us quite a while to get them together; we're currently at 6 pages and counting).

All Entitled to your own opinion I think as a step towards full station walking I am game to take a look at it and enjoy it.
I do worry for those of us with less fortunate PCs that may not be able to run it so well. From what i read there is no way to "turn it off" if there was such a button this would be perfect.

That option isn't staying :(

If you look at the last blog by ccp Zulu he addresses it specifically and says it was only put back in temporarily for testing and transition.

That's what I read.
no problem for me I'm running a custom PC but a few people i know who play it are having to look at long skills on eve and buying a new machine if this doesn't work for them.

I'm looking forward to this one. Actually what made me come back from a loooong break. I had totally forgotten how much people in this community complains whenever something changes ^^.

I'm looking forward to this addition to the game that makes it even more a space-sim.
I know some people are afraid of leaving their capsule, but it's about time. They seriously need a bath. Reading the "this isnt realistic" arguments makes me giggle.
The dock -> drop cargo/rearm etc -> undock in seconds is far from realistic as well if you think about it. Some says it breaks immersion. For me it brings more immersion and brings me a bit closer to my character. Thing is i play a character, not a ship. Some play a ship and discussing it between us futile as we aim for a different experience. Making the game easy? Nahhh.. Easier perhaps, but not easy. This game is allready so hard to learn that you can see it on the playerbase. At least that's what i think. That the game is too complex for the average gamer. So I'm not worried about wow-players joining in. They dont have a chance nor the mindset to play this game.

Been waiting on Walking in Stations for a good few years now after seeing the preliminary video on Ten Ton Hammer. SiSi seemed to please me but only a little. When full station WIS comes of age, then i`ll be more excited about it. Though, and I do mean this, I`m expecting a little longer than a 14 hour DT and then the critical bug fixes.

As usuall CCP will do their best, but with a game like this, its easy to see how bugs creep in.

Stop the whining and flaming and let them do the things they do. We`ll all get there eventually.

Had some doubts at the begining but once i took the time to test some of those features live on Sisi I must say that I was pretty surprised by this big change but not that big has people seem to fear.

Love captain quarters has it is and looking forward for improvents and new features around.

This magninfic idea of deck where you can watch your powerful space ships and admire all his size and details, admire the pod where you spend so many time in (we still don't know where we pee when we're in but doesn't mater)

I agree some improvements are needed around character movements but hey, it's fresh it's coming out and it's a very good basement for future features.
You hate it? -well in a few weeks you'll love it and look around for more.

I'm all excited about this now and despite my coments with my forum troll alt (every one has one hu?) I really think that this feature will be very successefull overtime and will aloud Eve to become better for every one, except the rookies but this is how eve works, you learn the hard way Laughing

Go forward CCP!!

PS: It's not a matte of trust but I've got a long lvl5 skill training like over 20days, think I'm going to put it on.

Got to say: well said.
People on here whine way to much considering CCP are about the best company I know when it comes to this sort of thing. It may take longer than expected but they always do their best and reimburse where appropriate. Saying you will not play because of this isn't just unhelpful its also childish.
Likewise can't wait for a station pub we can all sit in and have this kind of debate there instead. over a cool pint of quafe...

Same here... Performance-wise I wasn't having any issues with everything jacked up on Duality... Haven't tried on SiSi yet.

I like Incarna, and have been waiting and hoping they would finally get around to it for as far back as Eve Beta.

I DONT like that they are forcing those who are not interested into it, let alone causing problems for people who simply don't have a PC that can handle it.

To everyone who is crying because CCP is changing parts of their game, of which they hold all rights to do whatever they so please with, I have but one thing to say. You can always play WoW, they love your kind there.

I don't care if it is Minmitar quarters. I'll just consider it a shabby hotel in another far away station. Home is where the Quafe is.

Just to be clear. Lots of us don't cry because Incarna is coming, I, for exemple, really enjoy that new part of the game and what will be possible with it in theory. But even if you enjoy walking in stations with an avatar, for now, CQ isn't satisfactory, and this even if you know it's only the tiniest part of what's coming next. I'm not repeating here what was said in these three topic (Necom and Humanity, Question around the Incarna's Devblogs, and Concise questions aroud CQ), but we were not crying, just asking CCP to do things they told us they are going to do with CQ and Incarna Smile

Less than 10 hours left until Incarna and patch notes are not published yet. There's still no official word regarding "exactly" what will be included in Incarna 1.0:

Are we getting only the minmatar CQ initially, if yes, when should we expect the rest? What is the roadplan for incarna etc..

It would be nice to keep us informed, really. We love you when you throw us a bone so we can chew while you're doing your dev stuff.
