The EVE Online Account Management site has been improved to reflect modern web design standards both visually and in terms of usability. The newly-deployed changes include a complete visual overhaul, giving a consistent look and feel to the site, combined with a choice of languages (German and Russian localization throughout) and drop-down links to all our sites, including EVE Online, EVE Gate and Support. Additionally, the log in process has been improved, and a record of recent account activity is available together with your transaction history.

Account Management has been further enhanced with newly-refined offer pages and services such as the PLEX Store, Buddy Program and reactivation offers. Valued services such as character transfer and ETC trading have been updated, and are always easily accessible via the header menu. The purchasing process has also been refined and made consistent across our products and services. This overhaul to Account Management is just the first step in an ongoing effort to enhance and expand your ability to access EVE Online products and services.

We would be glad to hear your feedback on the new system or any issues you might be having with it.

I would like the ability to remove my credit card number and billing address from your system. You used to have that ability, why was it removed?

a little heads up would have been nice ;)

with recent ... issues... it seemed kinda fishy that the acct management page just ups and overhauls like that.

It was easier to use and its presentation is very slick. It is much clearer than the previous versious.

Though i found i had to look pretty hard to find the "Cancel subscription" link.

This has not changed in this update - to end your billing cycle and therefore not have your card billed again, you can to go the Cancel Subscription page under Game Time and cancel your account. Your card will not be charged at the end of your current cycle and your account will expire.

Even better - you can go to Change Subscription Plan and switch to a different payment method.

Its a bit white but then again that makes if very clear to use.

Some of the white text on the pictures is hard to read and doesn't a particular nice font.

it would be helpfull if all the menupages had a title of your location, atm some do not show where you are in the menu that was a bit annoying.

The overal feel is one of clarity but with some minor tweaks it could become nicer and completely clear.

The ability to get rid of visa numbers would be good. Although I pay with paypall myself yearly and my visa number changed since then so no problem for me.

Will the entire eve site be changed to reflect these changes, it seems to me that that part of the site has a totally different feel. A paranoid person could think that they where led away to a false site.

I already canceled a couple days ago. I want to remove my card information and billing information because I no longer have trust in CCP.

I just tried to log on to the new forums and was given an error message stating that my account is not active. It gives me a link to the new account management screen to resolve the issue. I just recently added 60 days of game time and my account is in good standing. I've already filed a petition on the issue but thought I would bring it up here as well.

How come when one logs into the account management that the login doesn't carry forward to the rest of the site, such as forums or at least EVE gate?

And if they are to be separate (for security reasons?), why not have two entirely different logins; one for the account management and and one for the forums/eve gate/game?

If the logins aren't different I don't see why you can't log in ONCE to the entire site and have access to everything. It's the same user name and password after all.

Yeah, so, I paid for this month with PLEX and renewed my account with a 3 month subscription, yet both your new forums and new account management say my account is not active. Your new account management page is trying to get me to pay for another subscription.

Should I petition? Or... just let you know the bug here? :)

It does look a lot better. However I still have a bugbear - I paid with a CC for a 3 month sub, but I cancelled my subscription so that I wouldn't be automatically charged. My account page says:

Account Type Active - Paying with CreditCard MC ******

Stop making me think my CC will be charged again!

Meh will use english as always/

Also please mark suceeded buddy invites with green color like before.

I wonder if there was any changes to buddy system? My old invites for my alts (which suceeded in 2010) now marked as "Your friend upgraded on XX Jun 20XX using a non-eligible payment". CCP closed option to give bonuses if trial paid by plex or this is just some mistake?

Clearer information on your account state on the Account/Home page is one of the next things we'll be addressing.

And just to add for in general - yes if you have an issue specific to your account, any purchases made, payment methods you use, or anything you don't understand about your account please do file a petition. Customer Support are the best people to help you with these issues.

Yep looks nice and easy to navigate. Ecxept I cannot change payment methods to pay pal in IE8. Works fine in firefox.
I would use my card but I do not like having my CC details stored anywhere online. Are you actually going to listen and put an option to remove CC details? or a little checkbox, "do not store my card details" Every other business seems to be able to do this.

yeah no issues with firefox, however got a bug ;

when i first log in i made a mistake on my account name, but the system still asked me a char name
then, when i corrected and put the good name, he DID NOT asked me a char.

is that normal ?
