Is this still to be launched in 2012?

I quit EVE about 5 months ago, I dont even have it installed, not really sure why im paying for it lol, anyway WOD seems pretty cool but there doesnt seem to be much on it, in fact there was more on Diablo 3 (which is rumoured for Dec 2011) last year than there is on WOD this year

Apparently WOD vampires don't glitter, they rip your head off and use it as a blood mug.

Seriously all that twilight trolling is ridiculous. WoD has as much in common with Twilight as Eve has with Hello Kitty Online.

Are you going to discriminate against all those loyal twilight fans who play eve by NOT making at least one shining/glittering vampire walking around bare chested? Thats cold sir! Cold!

Twilight is to World of Darkness as World of Warcraft is to EvE Online.

Just sayin'.

You have to admit that at least 50% of the players will be raving twilight fangirls, because as soon as they find out that there is a vampire MMO they will all migrate to that game.

This is a perfect opportunity to remove them though. Make WoD have the ability to interact with EVE.

Silly fangirls will see the wrath of our internet spaceships.Twisted Evil

I guess you have a point here. CCP might take a huge hit on the subscription numbers if they don't make a Toreador skin that sparkles.

Depends. Are you heavily into misogyny? If so, you'll love it.

Also, the only way to make a WoD vampire sparkle (Toreadors sprinkling themselves with glitter aside) is to shove them outside in the daytime… although some would debate that it's more like an ember glow at that point.

It's a touching story of a young woman torn between necrophilia and bestiality. If that sounds interesting...

Masquerade is one of the most interesting vampire settings, and I guess the only one that I actually like.
I know that it's two different companies, only setting is the same, but... Vampire The Masquerade - Bloodlines was GOOD. Not just good, but "one of the best games I've ever played" GOOD. And if the WoD will deliver the same atmosphere and attention to detail, then I'll totally try it out.

Based on something I read somewhere, the game will be of an adult nature where you will be able to get drunk, shoot up ****** and have an gay orgy in the street, is this still the case?

making fun of twilight is pretty much on the same level of making fun of justin beiber or ******ed kids. its too easy to do, so its not really that funny.

World of Darkness just like Twilight, except instead of going for teenage girls as its target audience, its going for teenage nerds with a hardon for conspiracy theories and monsters.

Honestly, for the past 20 years, just merely having vampires in any literature/media is taking the easy way out of having to put thought into new concepts and ideas.

No, they won't.

That's like saying they latched onto Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines, after going through Twilight, to get their fix. Which, they didn't. Because Twilight isn't really about vampires, it's about softcore fantasy tease-pron for pre-pubescent girls. Which, World of Darkness has none of.

The most a Twilight fangirl can get into is a Zynga game or a Vampire Facebook game, (there probably are a few). If they ever managed to be interested in something in the "World of Darkness" setting, and thus Vampire Masquerade, they simply wouldn't be Twilight fangirls anymore, because they'd be smart, and hopeless nerds like the rest of us.
