Anyone else notice this? This is some awesome attention to detail and a big step towards aesthetic cohesion.

Blasters on a DuVolle Taranis will look gold for example, or red on a Roden Enyo, meanwhile silver/green on a T1 ship. The same kind of style shift occurs on Amarr T2 ships etc...

so it wasn't just my eyes...
so guns do actually adapt to the ships color not just for some manufacturers
lasers on a ashimmu will get red
projectiles on a myrm will get green

The turrets themselves. Try to put pulse lasers on a Harb and compare how they look when you put the same lasers on an Absolution.
Or golden blasters on an Astarte perhaps? :)

And stuff seems to light up different depending on which races ship it gets put on. A Catalyst with a full set of rails will have them light up green, while they'll be blue on a Caldari ship. Throw those same rails on a T2 Caldari ship and they'll adapt even further...

I went out tested the looks and sounds. I sure hope that the current sounds of the 800mm RAs and strip miners are not what they will be on release. 800mm is the same old sound, but the visual firing sequence doesn't match. Strip miners have that pathetic mining laser sound at the beginning of the cycle and then the sound stops. There should be a higher pitch laser sound ongoing with a lower hum for the tractor part imo. I also turn my mining barge and the lasers keep going from where they started, cutting through the hull. There needs to be a visual auto adjust.

Visually the things I looked at were really cool, but if you are redoing the look of the turrets you need to change the sounds to match otherwise all that hard rendering work is wasted. Just like watching old godzilla movies in english... Some visual tracking issues linger.

..added.. The current singularity version of incarna is not even close to being ready. CCP better be burning all their midnight oil to make the deadline.
