*Looking into the camera a smile on his face.*

'This evening I spent my time with Ms. Evangeline. In the kitchen of the resort we had a most enlightening conversation while I baked her an angel food cake. She seemed to enjoy her dessert as I enjoyed her company.'

'I found it refreshing to have a small respite from the competition, though this still was a challenge. We talked of many things, Ms. Evangeline and I. Childhood and family, the burdens of command, and the joys of friendship.'

'This woman interests me on many levels. I wish to spend as much time with her as I can before my stay here at the resort is over. I find her, strong, yet weak. Outgoing, yet subtle. Beautiful, yet homely. Playful, yet dangerous.'

'I have made her an offer I hope she cannot refuse, and I intend to pursue her untill I have her.'

'It has been a good night New Eden. Though I still do not see Lady Neferis' intention behind this challenge, I am sure it will be revealed in time. None the less, I have enjoyed my evening, and for that I owe the Lady thanks.'

Lord Wamphyri takes a sip of his vodka and reclines in his seat by the pool. Taking a contemplative drag on his cigarrette, he mulls over the events of the evening, and of the interview with the Sovereign of the Sani Sabik herself. He leans back in his chair and takes out his terminal to make an entry on the IGS feed.

When I first heard of this competition I had no idea what it was about, what it would entail. I had reached a dead end in my capsuleer existence. I was adrift, no goal in sight, not sure which path to travel next. Ostracised from Amarr society I could not even return home.

So I spent my time docked in a station. I would trawl through the markets, log onto Galnet and read. My life was going nowhere except down the tubes until one day David pointed out to me a Galnet post, detailing a competition. Of course I was reluctant, but with David's urging we both signed up and asked for an interview. The rest is history.

Initially I didn't fare well. I made many mistakes, the result of a life half lived I would imagine. But I learned. I adapted. I began to see a new direction, born of pain, of pleasure and of power. My life has been changed forever and I welcome it.

I have come this far. I do not intend to give up now.

My interview with Lady Neferis was enlightening. It pleased and honoured me to have the Sovereign, a woman of sagacity and wit, visit my locale and her approval of the decor was encouraging. But these are incidentals.

I spoke of what I had learned, of what I hoped yet to learn. To say the least, I discovered that for all I have learned these past few days, my journey has barely begun. This is just the beginning. And I am still woefully unprepared despite my progress. But I persevere. I must. For the sake of my fractured soul.

I have a decision to think on tonight. I will sleep on it and know my answer tomorrow.

Wamp clicks off the terminal, and rubs his tired eyes. Looking up he notices David has returned. "You're back then" he grins.

David sits in his favorite spot on the balcony, overlooking the resort. Settled, he opens his terminal and activates the IGS feed before starting to type.

I think I did okay in my challenge tonight. I enjoyed Darveses' company and I think it was mutual.. we had a good talk, and I think we both learned a bit more about each other.. David pauses, grinning to himself. well, maybe more than just a bit! The interview *coughs* did overrun a bit. I lost track of time in there, but I think Darv was pleased with how things went.. He's a great guy who I would like to consider a good friend and hope to keep in touch after the competition ends.

I know this competition is 'EVE's Next Top Model' and not 'EVE's Next Best Friend'. I intend to do well here. But there's no reason I can't have fun along the way, is there?

David shuts his terminal down and wanders indoors to the bedroom, pulling his clothes off as he walks.

I have been asked to write up my impressions for display on IGS. Impressions of the competition or impressions of the conversation I shared with Evangeline, it was not specified.

I am new to this life, this capsuleer culture. I felt it would do me little good to simply build a daily routine and carry it out, blinkered and unaware of what lies beyond the scope of my experience. In taking part in this competition, i have learned so much more than I could have otherwise.

As capsuleers, we hold the power to move mountains and shape empires. What is it like, I always wondered, to have all that money and power can obtain and yet always reach for more? What I have found here is the core of capsuleer existence, the heart, stripped bare of all disguise.

It is all things at once: beautiful and terrible, thrilling and laconic, hedonistic and mundane. For all our influence, we are but human still, and will do as humans do when they have all that they require and beyond.

That is not to say it has been a disagreeable experience. Very much the opposite. I have met and come to know several worthy people, any of whom I would gladly spend more time with. On a more personal level, I have on numerous occasions been brought to question the why of my life and my paths through it, a quest that I accepted with an open heart and mind.

Evangeline and I spoke for some time tonight. We spoke of being and dreaming, and of what defines the why of us. It was during this talk that I realized that I had never been more assured of myself or my paths in life. Is it strange, that after the admittedly life altering events of the past couple weeks, I have come to be more certain of who I am?

It has been said that you cannot be certain of of your beliefs until you have put them to the test and questioned every last one of them. My clan encourages this form of soul searching, and in the last two weeks I have done just that. Perhaps not as openly or publicly as some, but such is my way. It seems fitting, now that I have begun the third path in my life, to make certain I am walking in the right direction.

My path is true, and I am grateful to have been challenged enough to learn it.

When I first signed up for the this competition, I really had very little idea of what to expect, aside from the obvious - the unexpected.

With that in mind, and the knowledge I had from the time spent studying the basics of the Sani Sabik faith, I knew that my own preconceptions of those participating in, and those doing the organizing of the event, would be irrelevant and useless the moment I first connected to the virtual environment that over the last week we've come to know as simply "the Resort."

I cast those preconceptions aside, and looked to establish my own, personal opinions of those around me through everything I was about to experience.

So far, I've had nothing short of a wonderful time. I've had intellectual discussions about a variety of subjects with a bunch of delightful people who I would have never expected I would speak to. I've seen sides of people that I thought I already knew, but was clearly wrong about. I've made friends I might not have made if I had not been here.

The challenges that we have been given have intrigued me. They've allowed us to see different parts of ourselves, and of our fellow contestants, in situations we might not normally find ourselves in. To show how we make and break alliances. Who we view as a threat to our success, and who we view as inconsequential. To take off our masks and show our true faces.

And that's what the contest is really about. Taking those masks off and looking beneath them. Peeling away the layers to see what we're really like and who we truly are under those masks. The ISK? That's merely a decoy. The true winners of the contest aren't necessarily the ones who walk home with the ISK. It's those who recognize the journey of self-discovery when they see it, and take the opportunity to learn. Those who come to know who they are on the inside, and don't just accept it, but proudly celebrate it.

I saw this from the start, and realized, one of the things I struggle with in life, is knowing when I need to use a mask, which one to use when I need one, and when to just cast them aside and show my true inner self. I knew that this would be an opportunity to learn this ability for myself from people who do it every day, and I leapt upon it and have clung fast since.

My conversation with Lady Neferis tonight covered these things, as well as a few others... in particular, a specific mask that I've had to wear for almost a year now, one I've begun to start taking off, with the help of the judges and the other contestants: I've had to hide many of my beliefs from others, even people close to me, simply because they are frequently misunderstood, and I wished to avoid unnecessary conflict over them. I'm learning how to take that mask off and feel comfortable with it off.

I know that I've got what it takes to continue to the very end of this contest, but even if for some reason this is my last night at the resort, I know that I will still have come out on top, and that I've already won the real reward: I know who I am, and who I want to be - and I like what I see in both cases.

All I have to add beyond that, really, is a heartfelt thank you for the opportunity, Lady Neferis - to you and the judges - it's been a great honor to participate in the contest, and an even greater one to be a student once more.

Lord Wamphyri wakes early, his eyes adjusting to the gloom. Turning his head he glances over at the sleeping figure of David sound asleep and smiles softly. Carefully sliding out from beneath the covers he climbs out of bed and wanders to the lounge area, softly lit with the pale moonlight, and sits down. The silence is absolute, save for the gentle rhythm of David's breathing and the faint crash of waves from the ocean. Crossing his legs and reclining in his seat, he sits quietly thinking, going over his earlier conversation with Lady Neferis in his head. "A lot to consider, indeed" he whispers to himself quietly. Propping his elbow on the arm of the seat, he rests his chin on his hand and looks thoughtful, eventually coming to a decision. He takes out his terminal and logs onto the IGS feed, the light from the display bathing his face in a soft amber glow.

I have studied the protocols of the Sani Sabik and have had much to digest. The ideals are intriguing and fascinate me, and I believe it to be a code that I greatly respect and admire, much like the Sovereign herself. Can I follow the code to the letter? That remains to be seen, and whether or not Lady Neferis considers me worthy. I believe I have what it takes and am eager to learn, so I feel I must beg a moment of the Sovereign's time once more to present my case and my decision.

Wamp switches off his terminal and blinks, his retinas adjusting to the renewed low light. Placing the terminal aside he stands up and dresses in a silk robe of crimson. Barefooted he walks quietly to the door and heads outside.

CHALLENGE RESULTS
22/6

The challenge yesterday proved very insightful to many candidates and to us, Judges. Another important step towards the path of victory that many of you start to struggle to keep on walking.
The coming days are decisive to our event. It's where we separate boys, from men, girls from ladies and standard capsuleers from those who we see shapping well enough to represent a Sani Sabik ideal Model we want to be seen by the Universe.

I predict drama. I predict tears. I predict some staring into the abyss and the abyss staring back. Minds will be shattered, final chains of past morals broken and burnt into the fires of enlighment.

A fair warning to those who made this far: Leave now while you still can. Quit. What is coming next is not for the faint of heart.

This said, the winner of last night challenge is Nausea. It's my understanding that her last IGS post speaks for itself.

10 points will be allocated to her plus 5 base points to all candidates who joined us.

Congratulations Nausea.

David Estarra examines his reflection in the mirror. "Looking good" he thinks, "now my nose is back to normal. Just in time to go and strut my stuff". He laughs, turning round as Lord Wamphyri finishes dressing.

"Are you ready to go?" says Wamp, smiling at David with a gleam in his eye. "I don't want to be late tonight, I have some unfinished business that needs to be brought to conclusion."
David smiles and says "Yeah.. I'm ready. What do you think?" he grins, turning in a circle to show off his outfit for the night.
Wamp chuckles. "What do I think? I think that most people looking at you would think you need to start getting dressed.. whereas most people that know you will wonder where you're going to be so overdressed!"
David laughs, winking at Wamp. "Well lets head out then, and show them all what we're made of".

Nausea stands on the balcony, looking out across the resort, her hands resting on the rail. A faint wind blows through her short hair for a moment longer, before slowly pushing herself back, standing straight. With a short nod to herself, she walks back into the room, closing the doors behind her, making for a sofa set off to one side.

Taking up her datapad from the nearby coffee table, she brings up the IGS feed, pauses a moment, and begins to type...

Unexpected consequences. They can be so interesting...seeing how they come about. Watching what you thought you knew change and slip from your fingertips; an opportunity to learn why things are not quite how you thought they were. The can be fun, exciting, thrilling, aswell as damning, terrible and painful.

But that is the point. You take your chance, and accept what comes, knowing that you made the choice. That there is no turning back.

This time, the unexpected was half-expected... and the choice is already made. I've said of others, even recently, that they should take responisbility for these consequences, accepting them. Time for me to do so too. No matter where this goes.

She cuts the feed, leaning back in the chair, her face half covered in shadow.

Qansh climbs into bed with a happy look on his face. The strange thing is that he doesn't know why he should feel that way. Well, he knows and he doesn't know. It's like he knows but he doesn't feel like touching that thought.

It could still all fall apart, of course. The thing is that it really already has. It's not like he's gone slack, but more like he's gone empty. Death to plans (well, it wasn't much of a plan to begin with). Death to manipulations (well, that's just the ego talking and it never did a thing, really). Death to pandering (well, there might have been a teensy bit of that).

Sometimes in the modelling world it just comes down to see or be seen.

He flips off the light and finds his slumber.

Lord Wamphyri is on the balcony, relaxing in one of the chairs as he watches the slow climb of the early morning sun, bathing his face in a soft amber light. His elbow propped on the arm of the chair he rests his chin on his hand as a thoughtful expression lines his face, contemplating last nights events and his conversation with the Sovereign. The corner of his mouth twitches upwards slightly as he hears David stirring from the bedroom, before breaking out into a smile. He stretches before taking out his terminal and logging onto the IGS feed.

We have all become complacent. So sure of ourselves that we believe we cannot be touched. Last night the Lady Neferis showed us just how wrong we were.

A long ago friend once told me 'Complacency is a state of mind that exists only in retrospective: it has to be shattered before being ascertained.'. Never a truer word has been spoken, as was proven by the results of our visits to the Confession Chamber last night which cost us all dearly. Our complacency was indeed shattered with the removal of Claudia Vivienne and Nikita Alterana. As the rest of us sat in stunned silence counting our blessings, Merahl Ronuken made a foolish comment within earshot of the Sovereign, which displeased her and resulted in his instant elimination.

For my part I am applying myself studiously to following the path I have discovered, eager to see where it will lead. I will not become complacent again. I intend to win this competition and will apply myself in earnest to achieve that goal; the philosophy of the Sani Sabik has taught me that those not fit to lead are only fit to follow, and those not fit to follow will fall by the wayside and perish.

Smiling, he logs off and closes his terminal. Hearing movement at the door he turns and smiles, as David appears in the doorway dressed in a loose fitting silk dressing gown. "Morning, big fella" he says, approaching Wamp and wrapping his arms around his neck, clasping his hands around his chest. He kisses him on the side of the head and murmurs "I have an idea..".

Resort 24/06
Neferi's Private Quarters

The spongy softness of an Opus X slid sultrily across her claret lacquered lips, the color seeping into it's deep pores. She took a sumptuous drag of the expensive material, throwing her head back and letting the smoke flow out of her lips. The smell of the flavoured smoke and other innebriating substances seemed to engulf her as she sat reclined on the elegantly chair.
The room that encircled her was hardly less than grandiose with it's lofty ceiling and grand décor, giving off an air of the self-indulgence of its proprietor. Its wine and cream striped walls were bordered with more places to sit, all of these sites filled. People were standing all over the black marbled flooring, their reflections hardly visible from where she was sitting. No one knew much about the person sitting next to them, except from the light chit-chat and banter that was taking place right now, much less the man or woman standing across the room.

"Busy day today my Sovereign" The Crowned Prince of the Veil bowed slowly as he delivered her agenda. "And the Reporter requests an audience." He said, his expression calm and serene, always composed and silent on its own manner like so many years ago.

"Tell him to come in" The Sovereign replied simply, her eyes fixed on a point of market fluctuation up North on her business map.

"Sovereign." The reporter stood there waiting to be addressed, he held a passive look on his face, choosing to stay quiet rather than attempting to interrupt her. He continued to stand there, his gaze following the details about this woman with eyes of an everlasting mysterious crystal blue color.

"Have a seat." She said, a small smile grew on her lips as her eyes moved quickly absorbing the intelligence reports from the monitors before returning her attention to the reporter. "Sani Sabik Top Model correct?"

"Yes Sovereign, if I could have a moment to get updated."

She reclined back on her chair seeking his eyes as to initiate the interview. "Go on."

The reporter activated his recording device: "Phase II ending Tonight. Are you excited?"

"Very. It's the culmination of a very intense week, the point of no return as I like to call it."

"What can you tell me and the public about the Top Ten finalists?"

The Sovereign's attention returned briefly to the monitors displaying areas of possible profitable wars. "About them...." She whispered almost to herself, before looking at the reporter's eyes once more. "Some expected to be there. A few candidates there fall into the Sani Sabik definition of success, while some others conquered their spot by the incompetence of those who fell before them."

"Will any of those have any chance to succed?"

She smiled again a moment shaking her head "Obviously not. No one win a Sani Sabik event by chance. The Winner will represent the model that I want it to represent to my faith. There is no dice rolling here, I know what I seek and I'll know when I find it."

The reporter nods "So, we should expect intense days ahead inside the Resort. The candidates are feeling the pression, is this intentional?"

The Sovereign laughs a bit "That's an understatement. I expect some of them to be completely mind shattered by now. At least those who interests me. There is a process of learning too, into becoming a Sani Sabik Model and this pression you talk about is a natural part of it." * She looks at her clock.

"One last question Sovereign, If I may: 50 k slaves to be executed, wars destroying alliances and a Top Model business show top hit in New Eden. How do you handle it?"

"It's all one single show my dear. Some people can put dots together... it's as simple as it gets. Ever heard of chaos theory? Butterfly batting wings. Have a good day." She smiles as the reporter is invited to leave the room.

To my fellow contestants.

I would like to offer my services to my fellow contestants and share with you my knowledge and experience in Runway Walking.

Whilst a fun and informal diversion, the real lesson I can teach is that a Man or Woman is judged in the eyes of others by their confidence, their poise and grace in their movements. One can learn a great deal from observing a person by the way they carry themselves. And a first impression is a lasting one.

I offer to share my skills in this area by instructing those willing to learn the art of walking on a runway.

I would like to begin my lesson in the resort between 20:00 - 20.30 EVE time - providing this doesn't conflict with any challenges announced by the Lady Neferis.

Those choosing to participate please ensure you are dressed in clothing that is comfortable and allows freedom of movement.

I look forward to seeing you there!

Starside Lost

A nice guy, a bit of a matyr, but he does it for love, which is understandable.
Punx Evangeline

Very loving and loveable person, gotta love him.
Darveses

Lots of talent packed in one heart. But is anything more than a man in love?
We know you are in love. Now show us something else for a change. That alone wont make the cut.
Revan Neferis

Perhaps he should finish cutting out his heart so we can see just how full it is.

Resort, Camera online.

Revan Neferis > You see.. lets get real. you know that the dance partner i refered to on that thread was you, didnt you?
Revan Neferis > the slave thread.
Michael Bross > 'I had the assumption.'
Michael Bross > *taking a deep sip of his coffee* 'So when will you contract the slaves to me so I can begin their rehabilitation?'
Revan Neferis > Contract the slaves to you? you want to pay for them or?
Michael Bross > 'No Lady Neferis. That would be against our cause. But you cannot keep them or you would return to the ways of the slaver.'
Revan Neferis > I dont intend to keep them. I never said I would, Where did you took that idea from?
Michael Bross > 'From the absense of any statement of what you will do with them now.'
Dream Br3aker > They'll be executed as per originally planned
Michael Bross > 'Is that true Lady Neferis?'
Revan Neferis > I'll do as I please and what is more profitable to me. Obviously. Actually im thinking of 3 outcomes here
Michael Bross > 'yes?'
Revan Neferis > 1- they will all be executed in the time planned, as soon as my freighter pilots comes to space. end of story.
Revan Neferis > 2- I present them with a good baskin of flowers and lovely passionate poem as a gift to my lover
Revan Neferis > she loves gifts and such demonstrations of love
Revan Neferis > 3- I sell them to this minmatar who was crazy enough to want to buy them , and restore my isk.
Revan Neferis > So, im still thinking wich of the 3 options would be the most pleasing to my amusement and soul.
Dream Br3aker > /emote smiles
Dream Br3aker > I have a fourth option Soverign
Revan Neferis > yes?

Dream Br3aker > I will pay you twice the amount they are worth
Dream Br3aker > Double profit for you
Revan Neferis > And what will you do with them?

Dream Br3aker > /emote smiles > Execute them to see how the universe reacts
Revan Neferis > No. if they will die, they will die for a cause. for my word not yours. But, if you give them a different destiny that is both pleasing to me and their future, i will consider your offer.
Revan Neferis > So, will you have the strengh to sacrifice something of value, in contrast to our friend over there? * points to MIchael *
Dream Br3aker > /emote sips her drink > Profit for you, and entertainment, their future was of little concern when I ran that errand for you, but perhaps... since Mr Toma is of similar heritage I would be inclined to leave their fate in his hands
Dream Br3aker > I have little concern of the Minmitar peoples struggle personally, as it is a tired and old story on the IGS
Michael Bross > *raises an eyebrow towards Bayushi.*
Revan Neferis > so Toma.. what would you do with them?
Bayushi Toma > /emote stands and considers the room > i am brutor i would see them live of course yet *looking a micheal* their possition was brought on them by actions against my faith which i also love...
Bayushi Toma > the real issue here is youre disrespect to thst faith micheal, that is what must iether bow or break
Revan Neferis > So Toma, what would be their future in your hands?
Bayushi Toma > either freedom or death based on thius mans actions, minmatar cannot live as slaves give them one peace or the other
Revan Neferis > That answer is indeed very wise
Bayushi Toma > but i would not see them continue in bondage
Revan Neferis > Dream, I accept your proposal.
Revan Neferis > as long as the slaves are given to Toma to decide their future.
Revan Neferis > than make this an issue between both men of the same race.
Dream Br3aker > /emote nods
Michael Bross > *smiling at Bayushi* 'So what of it sir?'
Revan Neferis > make sure you have freighters to collect them. we will continue procedures between us.
Revan Neferis > /emote smiles " let me announce that, so this business is concluded. Double profit hum? a clash of faith, a test of conviction and an open end. good day indeed."

Bayushi Toma > /emote considers micheal for a moment > yes soveriegn i will see to the arrangements...micheal, tribesman what are their lives worth to you
Michael Bross > 'A great deal Mr. Toma,'
Bayushi Toma > know that as this day ends so does their suffering one way or the other...i would have a public apology on igs to revan and the sani sabik heartfelt mind you to begin
Michael Bross > 'An apology for what Mr. Toma?'
Bayushi Toma > for offending members of the sani sabik faith, and for insulting the faith itself....you have insulted the soverign , jenner, dream, rocka and myself all of whom are either pledged or initiates to the faith
Bayushi Toma > and you have done so publically so i require you to undoo this just as publically
Bayushi Toma > what say you tribesman?
Bayushi Toma > time is short tribesman. WHAT SAY YOU
Michael Bross > 'The paths we chose our, our own Mr. Toma. They must be chosen knowing the potential outcomes. I have done so. But greater question is do you? You wore your tribes robes the other night. Similar to my own in fact. Yet you deny that heritage today. You..
Michael Bross > walk the path of the slaver. You threaten our people lives to prove a point. You have no need to kill them yet you wish to do so. Why do you not simply let them return home to wear their clans robes as we do ours?'
Bayushi Toma > /emote laughs long and hard > did i not promise to give them peace? i am not trying to proove anything to anyone least of all to you, this is not a matter of heratige but of rekoning
Bayushi Toma > the scales must be balanced
Revan Neferis > /emote smiles listening just and picking the two points of conflict now set, nodding to herself. 4 engaged. 6 to go.
Bayushi Toma > /emote turning deadly seriouse > i hate you for delaying youre answer and forcing me to extend their bondage
Michael Bross > 'Everything is a path of heritage Mr. Toma. You simply wish to kill. Release them to me, or sell them to the pilot of EM, but see them returned home.'
Bayushi Toma > then retract youre damn words and see it done

Michael Bross > 'Lady Neferis initiated my words. She knew they would come and planned for them. Her path was chosen carefully and has led us to this day. This now comes as no surprise to her. It is but her machinations come to fruition. She knows I cannot retract my..
Michael Bross > words and thus released the slaves to you. To see how the dynamic would flow. Thus the choices made must come from you Mr. Toma. You are my new dance partner by her will alone.'

Revan Neferis > /emote starts to laugh amused and still observing
Bayushi Toma > you would see our brothers and sisters die for pride what i ask is fair and will avert a stupid drawn out war no matter who is responcable for what.....lady plz have you agent slaughter 1000 slaves start with the children
Revan Neferis > /emote taking a drag of her cigarrete " My word was given Toma at the moment i negociated this here in front of you all. the slaves no longer belong to me, but are yours"
Michael Bross > 'So you would continue the path of the slaver and become a traitor to our race?'
Bayushi Toma > ahhh i see * as he pulls out his neocomm and beginns directing orders to his men* i keep no slaves tribesman i only free them as best as i can
Michael Bross > 'You deny them a free life to sate your blood lust is what you mean.'
Revan Neferis > You are doing no less Michael. you deny them their freedom in the price of your ego
Revan Neferis > none of you are better than the other. I start to believe the slaves would be safer in the hands of an amarr
Michael Bross > 'Not ego Lady Neferis. Cause. Something more important than any one man.'
Revan Neferis > such is his faith.

Revan Neferis > you have no rights to accuse him of doing what he think is right for his faith , when you are doing the same for a cause
Revan Neferis > you both are denying their freedom for concepts of subjective matter

Michael Bross > 'Lady Neferis, this is the path of your choosing. You knew before this began I would stand. You knew I could not back down. For if I do every two bit scumbag in New Eden would use the lives of slaves to manipulate the Matari people into their bidding.'
Revan Neferis > cause, faith, ideology. see? just for what you think its important for you but none of you are thinking about the 50 k lives
Revan Neferis > Some things are just very predictable MIchael. How would this perfect situation emerge otherwise? * looks at two Matari, both inside the same room, in the same competition *
Bayushi Toma > /emote tears streaming down his face he raises his neocomm the sounds of screaming children filling the aur > then let us free them together tribesman
Revan Neferis > The Universe blesses me with such visions of the future I guess
Michael Bross > 'They are m'Lady. But that is why you chose this path to manipulate.'

Michael Bross > *finishing the last of his coffee he sets the cup down gently* 'Revan... I tender my resignation from this competition. I cannot associate with slavers.'

Michael Bross > 'No response then... Bayushi, send the video and the numbers of executed to my neocom. I must leave now.'
Bayushi Toma > /emote gives a single command into his neocomm > hold * to micheal * be gone...
Revan Neferis > well well, there we go... 9 left...
Revan Neferis > /emote throws one of her cigarretes at the drone bin " lets see now... "

In the spirit of responding to these things, which I guess we do...

His madness subsided a bit. Kind of shame. Enthusiasm is good. Extraordinaire is better. Work on it. --Revan Neferis

My madness, I have discovered, is in circumspection. I'm sure that I could blaze a Sun if I had too (and perhaps I do), but my delight would be in the establishment of a low-blazing, poisonous Moon.

I saw wonderful things in the arena, you need to keep that momentum. --Punx Evangeline

Have I had an adversary since then? Oh, they're all my adversaries. "Come on over here, Wamp, and I'll beat you up in polite company." <winks> I guess I missed hearing about a challenge.

Perhaps he'll pick himself back up, or he's lost initiative since Uraniae left. --Koronakesh

Uraniae! Uraniae! Wherefore art thou, Uraniae! You turned out to be a friggin' spy or something, that's what. I would hate to think that political considerations entered into our brief "thing".

Moon-lit volcano rising... I have enjoyed my brief visit to civilization, though. Hope I can get some later.

To Lady Neferis--

You reacted with surprise to my offhand comment last night. I'm certain I do not know why: I have never been anything but wholeheartedly honest regarding my purpose since the contest began. I was never there for your money, nor your favor or regard. I was never there to compete, and if that shocks you or anyone else, you never knew me as well as you thought you did. As I mentioned from the very beginning, I was only ever there for the experience, and what an experience I have had. I have no regrets, and I wish you all the best.

To the remaining contestants--

It was a pleasure to meet you and share the experience with you. I wish you the best of luck in the remaining trials, and hope to see you again sometime.
