I think the problem is with the positioning of the warp tunnel effect. One time I didn't get the warp tunnel and then I realized it was behind my ship, sort of chasing me. It was odd.

I get the effect half the time.... Very strange.

Hrm I should start keeping tabs of what ship Im flying when I get it and what ship Im flying when I dont.

Tunnel placement was mentioned and that could play a part in it depending on the size of the ship.

Running latest version of Incarna right now (Version: 7.10.273475), warp tunnel broken, it rarely shows up. Extremely frustrating! I've tried wiping eve's cache, as well as totally wiping the settings folder, still nothing, can we get this resolved?

We still haven't been able to solve this problem (it's hard to get a 100% reproduction case on this). I kid you not when I say that this frustrates us to no end as well.

Would it be of any help if we provided detailed driver versions/reports, monitor configurations, (single/dual/SLI,etc) Windows versions, etc?

I have the same issue. Disabling depth effects seems to solve it for me.

"Depth effects" which one is that Confused

On a clean character has not used him for a while on sisi in villore warped around to gates and planets, had effects, jumped into old man star, no effects, jumped back into villore, effects where there. rejumped in to old man star, no effects, but when I jumped into a third system and warped to a grav, the warp effect was there, on my way back old man star, had effects, but when i jumped in to villore no effects. Seems like the graphics engine is getting a go /no go order swithed back and forth and only some actions swith the switch. Switch is also system based though probably in the new code for incursions. Be my best guess. good luck with finding it.

I have this as well on a Nivida Gforce GT 420 (280.26 driver)

Dident even think i was moveing, untill the Gates/Stations just pop up,
(though about 1 -10/20 jumps the warp Effect will partly show, but only if im Faceing/camra the correct way coming out of the clocked buff @ gates.

This is not a scientific observation, simply a programmer's gut. I have noticed while playing around with it that changing some of the graphics settings (it doesn't seem to matter which) sometimes makes the warp effect come back for me on a few systems. It makes me wonder if it isn't some form of buffer that is filling up that isn't getting emptied until certain settings get flipped. The buffer getting cleaned out by some other housekeeping process could explain why it occasionally (very rarely) seems to come back for me. But again this is 100% a shot in the dark.

For me, this problem started immediately after Incursion 1.6 was implemented. (This patch included the UI update.) I'm sure this is the same for everyone else.

Same issue here. I'm a new guy just started and the warp effect comes and goes. Which sucks because the actual effect is brilliant and really helps the immersion factor.

same here i dont see the warp tunnel. i have a Geforce 430 gt and nothing is wrong with it. CCP fix this lol wait dont fix anything lol

I'm getting the problem as well. Changing any settings does nothing, using the "Warp to" button at the overlook makes no difference to useing the right click.

I believe I may have found what causes this glitch (sorry if somebody already presented this suggestion...I didn't read the second page completely).

I have been able to reproduce this glitch by moving my camera around my ship as soon as I initiate warp. It seems that if I move my camera around while the ship is aligning, then then the warp tunnel animation will not show. If I initiate a warp and NOT turn my camera around my ship at all before the ship is in warp, then the tunnel will show 100% of the time.

Hope this helps the devs.

It was never stated in the patch notes that the issue would be fixed. Seeing as how this is a pretty minor issue, I can't imagine the rage you produce when something bad actually happens.

Anyway, I haven't been able to reproduce the glitch with 100% accuracy. I definitely think CCP should look into what was changed when Incursion 1.6 was applied to Tranquility, because that's exactly when this problem arose. Maybe something occurred when they changed the handedness of the rendering environment?

I am running Eve client in the lowest possible graphics settings with everything set to low or disabled and I don't seem to be getting the problem with the warp tunnel. Only mentioning this in case it helps CCP trace the problem.

Are any of you running Eve on the lowest possible graphics settings like myself?

Pretty sure this issue has nothing to do with hardware and everything to do with the EVE software itself.
