Im sure most of you experienced mission runners have a list of missions that you decline because they are less profitable, annoying or otherwise undesireable.
I personally decline guristas missions because of jamming.

What missions do you decline and why?

Amarrian ones, they dislike me enough already.

I'd say Duo of Death is crap, but it's an easy tick in the 16 missions box. I declince Enemies Abound as I like my Gallente standings, and I just recently got positive to all empires again. I sometimes decline Massive Attack because, well, cruisers and frigs, meh!

Any missions against Empire Factions

Any missions against Guristas

Its a crapshoot if I will take a rogue drone mission or not. Completion times are decent, but I usually don't bother to loot all the refinables. I usually decline Rogue drone missions if I'm close to done with the block of time I want to mission, and will accept and complete them if it is early or I've declined an anti-faction mission recently.

I decline the following missions...

1. vs. Empire Factions
2. vs. Rogue Drones [most of the time]
3. vs. Guristas [if the missions report suggest heavy jamming]

I'll do the rest. Lately, I've been declining any missions that's not paying >2M ISK and 4000+ LP.

This is more or less my thoughts too.

I skip faction, drone and gurista missions at this point. Doesn't leave all that much to run. I moved to Amaar space so I'm not getting Guristas anymore at least.

Thats a great idea, If my standings will get too low from declining I may as well do the same.

Mining misappropriation l4 is one I never do, as the mission basically has no payout nor tags, and the loot is also crap. A long time ago when it had tags this was a decent mission.

If I am just declining missions that are too far for me/go into a camped system, then many times I will use lower level agents as well, and with those I usually dislike 'the blockade' DED l1, as the tags are so-so and the spawns are far enough away and the ships small enough, that it takes a while to run in my usual mission boats.

Materials for war preparation l4 is one that I really don't want to do in 0.0 even though I do usually, but moving around 9km3 of kernite for just a bit of standing and a low level implant seems a bit not worth it. In High sec I don't mind the mission as I can just buy the ore.

never;
drone missions
faction standings hitters
massive attack
the score
smuggler interception
Stop the thief
Buzz Kill

always;
AE
WC
Gone berserk
The Blockade
The Assault
Damsel
Vengence
Recon
Pirate invasion (AFK)
Unauthorized military presence (haven't seen this since the patch, think its gone, its another AFK'er)

sometimes;
Mordus Folly 1
The Mordus Headhunters
duo of death
right hand of zazzmatazz
Rouge Slave trader 1 & 2

I have 2 toons with 2 l4 agents and 1 toon with 3 l4 agents in the same system. I have not run out of missions since the patch.

Do the warp/cancel/warp trick and it'll land you next to the pen. Don't wait for the BS to spawn. Super fast mission.

Any faction mission. The rewards for doing them are nowhere near the cost of being cut off from that part of space. Not worth the trouble at all.

Since I fit my boat with railguns (gallente heavy in sp) i decline everything unless its against serpentis and mercs.

Since the patch i decline ANY gurista mission that has more than 2 jamming ships.

I also now decline ALL faction missions as i got *this close* to not being able to go into Gallente Hi-sec...(i'm a gallente character who moved to caldari space to run with RL friends)

This. Only time I do missions against empires are storyline missions.

Drone missions are OK when you can salvage the BS/BC drones. If not most are still that fast that they still give a good LP/Time ratio.

I don't decline missions. Why? Six days of selling the decent loot from L4 missions *alone* netted a PLEX to pay for that account (couple hours of gameplay after work at night). That means no $$ out of pocket.

I'm proud to say that, after nearly three years I've never declined a single mission. Failed to complete two, but I attribute those to IRL distractions.

1 mission to add to the list:

Buzz Kill

Mostly frigs and cruisers, not worth the time or effort.

Gonna disagree on this one. Just leave the elite frigates alone.

It's one of the highest ticks yielding missions if you do it right (it lasts 1 tick, 1.5 max). Many "cruisers" are 270k+ bounty each, half of a crappy BS and they are many.

Opportunity cost.

1 vs Empire factions
2 vs Empire factions
3 vs Empire factions

I like guristas, they have the best bounties. Drones can be annoying since they have no bounties.

ALWAYS:

-- faction missions. My avatar also trades and needs positive standing in all Enpire. [Exception is Smash the Supplier, whose salvage is worth keeping it open for 6 days for respawning. If my Amarr standings are > 1.5 I will run it full rather then blitzing just the tower. That just means I have to move to my Amarr agent sooner.]

-- losec kill missiones because I have +5 implants.

SOMETIMES:

-- heavy jamming missions if I am in a bad mood and haven't declined within 4 hrs.

-- L2 missions masquerading as L4s (easy to spot in mission site doces) if they require a jump. The overall payoff is insufficient even in a Tengu.

Doesn't Stop the Thief drop Arbalest Heavy Missile Launcher?

I'll keep on declining Guristas until the jamming issues are resolved. I'd much rather be sensor damped or TD'd in my Nightmare, at least those you can work with. There's no getting around the jamming, not even with a Tengu fitted accordingly(which'll only gimp your dps and/or tank anyways).
I turn down Minmatar too(EA 5/5) as I like the rusty lil guys and out in that part of space, it's kinda fun.

Other than that, thanks to a Noctis alt I rarely turn down any of the others. I'll turn down Massive Attack if I have to travel 3 jumps there and another 3 back, and that really is about it. My Gallente standings have been on -9 for some time and I never ever need to go out there, so it doesn't bother me. When travelling to Metropolis, assuming I had no standings issues with the Gallente, I'd still go the low-sec route.
