Maybe this is nitpicking but the strobing lights on the flight deck don't seem to have a source.

  • The 3D UI could be much clearer, something that looks more the real interface. Right now, the transparent holograms of the ships for example are too disconnected from the actual screens. How about these holograms when moused over give more detail or are replaced by something more immersible. A bit more color wouldn't go amiss either. I'm referring to the now infamous concept video on youtube.

  • The location of the pod is very... out of place.
    I can't imagine striping naked on a catwalk to get into your pod out in the open to be very... pleasant. Not to mention getting out of your pod.
    I more imagined it to be a separate room next to, below or attached to the captains quarters like in the earlier iterations (gallente CQ demo about a year or so ago)


  • Please, give players the ability to enter and exit their pods at will and not force them into the CQ every time they dock. Leave the current station viewing method in there.
    Adding a separate docking option when in space like: DOCK & DISEMBARK. This way the transition between ship and CQ can also be made more fancy with (skipable) transition videos. Its always better to give the player that choice than to force it upon them.


  • This could be combined with the player getting podded or when we clone jump, I imagine we'd appear in the Captains Quarters, with Aura reminding us to get a new clone contract. When you get podded I think would be a good place to add a (skipable) prerendered cutscene of you getting out of the cloneing vat. as getting podded usually means a bit of downtime.


  • I don't see the smooth animation of turrets folding in or out when they switch out between say starboard and port guns).


  • Make sure Aura's Tutorial messages don't overlap when clicking parts of the environment.


  • I love the new turrets for salvaging and the tractor beams. I was half expecting to find NOS, NEUTS, armor and shield transfer modules etc. to also have new turret modules.


Also... full trash-bags in the Captains quarters... I know its minmatar but even they would install some kind of trash disposal shute right or does the garbage hovertruck come by the hangar balcony every morning at 6:00... Laughing

My extended feedback:

I played a lot with the graphics settings so i'll give some feedback on those:
Playing at my monitor's native resolution (1440x900), my FPS in CQ was 5-7 with everything at max (Optimized for quality) and 10-14 Optimized for Performance.
The single biggest difference by far in both performance and quality is if you have Shaders set to Low or High. Other options barely gained 1-2 FPS together, the rest was from that.
I was very impressed with the dock/undock times (hardly any difference from live), but at lowest FPS the whole UI did slow down.

Glitches that i noticed:
- transparent torso near hangar entrance
- avatar arms went transparent after fiddling with the character recustomization (fixed by relog)
- after playing with graphic options the right panel in station disappeared (fixed by undocking/docking)
- clothing/hair physics dosen't seem to work very well for me (long hair clips through shoulders unless i turn it off)
- the "white" AUR skirt wasn't actually white when i equiped it
- while doing the tutorial (up to the part where Aura sends you to the other agents) i noticed there's a few "skips" where the tutorial loses you and you need to figure out how to continue which is not very intuitive. For example i had to manually start the next step after talking to Aura in the Agent panel since nothing was happening (i ended up skipping the whole part where she says go to your balcony, etc...). Also after undocking it dosen't tell you how to get to the mission area.
In the mission area it tells you there's two enemy ships on your screen but there's only one.

problem with high shader quality. I see dubbel picture from a light source. Between the light sourse to my characture. Then through my characture/ avitare in the opposite direction.when shader is set to low quality then the problem of.

stuck on entrance with a blurry CQ balcony and the word "loading" flashing on the screen. this doesn't ever seem to go away (let it run like this for 15+ minutes). relogging doesn't help, undocking and redocking doesn't either. any suggestions?

Yes I have the same problem but only with my main char, my two alternative character can load CQ without problems.

Yes I have the same problem but only with my main char, my two alternative character can load CQ without problems.


Oddly enough, switching characters on the same account didn't help, but switching accounts did....very odd

Scrolling through a hangar with a lot of turret assets is painful, it seems to be reloading the images every time one scrolls a small amount. The turrets are pretty though.
Minmatar mission doesn't have any Stasis webs in the Haudagogo system, at that point the noob hasn't had any instruction on using market either.

1-Rate the graphics performance (framerate, UI lag, etc): 4. I've lag problems when i've two accounts at the same time running CQ, framerate is only 10-15 fps. With only one client running i've 30-40 fps. The performance is good with one client, bad with two clients.
2-Overall performance: 4 with one client, 3 with two clients on the same machine (I used to play with my two accounts at the same time).
3-General feedback: 4. I like new CQ feature, but i've a petition, give us the option of enter or not new feature, please, maybe activating it when we enter/exit our pods. With this option people who plays with two or more clients don't experience lag problems when they're docked at stations.

Buttons flying outside action object brackets are distracting, if not frustrating. Except disabled buttons (like "Exit Sofa" when you aren't sitting), which are just stupid.

am adding my 2 cents

RIGHT CLICK ENTER CQ or a station button

on a Role-play side

i don't think i want to throw up Ecto from my stomach and lungs every-time i dock We would like the Option to Go into CQ WHEN WE WANT TO

the people that want to use it WIN as they just right click or w/e and get in there CQ
the people that don't want to Win as-well

Also To add

Are we going to get anymore Full-recustimzations when CQ comes out? i dont like the way my char looks now since am out and walking around Neutral

It says invalid username and password when I try to connect! When was this database mirrored? I can login to tranquility and singularity without issues.

Roll on the REAL Incarna. Captain's Quarters, although maybe an important step is just dull IMO.

I'm a little disappointed in the scale of the ships when I stand on the balcony. The really old "walking in stations" videos showing that Zealot looked awesome (sure, they were no doubt prerendered mock-ups, but still...)

Was there some reason, other than the relatively low texture resolution, that we don't get to experience the true size and majesty of our ships?

Game still rocks of course, but +1 to the option of docking WITHOUT having to exit your pod to CQ

Nemesis looks the same size as a Domi. I think it must just be closer or something but the effect is that a lot of the ships look the same size.

Also, changing ships just disappear and then re-appear. That needs improving.

Graphic performance looks good, but i have some pixel flickering, and some pixel noise on the screens. How to describe it ? The texture is not clear shown, it has scattered random colored pixel (like a noise filter). I dont know if that is wished, but it isnt look as good as it is clear. Client seems to be stable, looks good.

3. General feedback

The 3 Screens. Much better as in the previous version. no flickering, smooth, looks good. Mouse hover effekt, great - but is it possible, if i rightlick the dedicated window, that it zooms in ? and i handle the stuff on the "monitor" ? feels much better. Put a cross in the right corner to "zoom out".

UI- Ui looks fine, not as much animated as i wish, but ok, but not in 3D. (Check Crysis demo, the options menu, thats what i like). Then next point to UI is the unclear "Mouse over" "Mouse-Roll Over" Effekt. Sometimes the "Button" Work, sometimes not - depends on the where the camera is focussed. Not a perfect solution. But hey its great.

Ship Size - its much better than the previous version, but in my eyes to much scaled. If i undock a carrier (it is a capital ship) - normally - i have to watch on a really big - full screen sized ship (wich showns only a part of it) - than its correct sized. If you would like to introduce a Rotation ability to the platform on the bridge ? Who said , that Captains Quarters is not "Moveable" ?. Do Ship spinning in a other direction. Rotate the Captains quarters - around the Ship - wich is fixed in the station. And possible later - if you would like to connect to Stations Stuff - do a "ship-based" - Lift or something like that. Be creative !

What happens with the Bed ? I cant lay down there - but i would like - possible - with a "AFK Status ?" onlined, if i am sleeping on my bed (and maybe the lights going off) (Like a standby option on pc is) - lights going on an user interaction. For the guys, who cant log out :).

Back to the 3 Screens. Is there possible a record Option for it ? "Maybe to show the last hours of news - or something" ?

Keyword Interaction. Will there be a possible solution, to eat and drink, and shown by emotes ? "I know, you have a long way to go, but hey , lets discuss it".


I am very happy with that what you solved until now. Looks really Cool, and i need a latex catsuit for my MILF :)

P.S. I think with the new clothes it should be very necessary to rechange the charakter customization, because some uniforms, i got boobs in it, i cant handle it. I am not dolly buster. I have big ****, but not like this. Can we have a possible free customization - with incarna ? (for guys, who have to think about the cup size).

Same problem with this character. CQ doesn't load. Made a new character on the account and can't get to the undock balcony. I keep falling through the floor right at the edge. And it's a long ways down to nothing in cistuvaert station.

Graphics are smooth, framerate is ok, tho UI can be a bit more responsive, a bit more... precise, accurate, sharp. Right now, it feels as if the camera and char movements are a bit lagging. There's a problem with lighting and skin colors, my character looks way too pale when subjected to direct light, tho he doesn't look that way during char creation.

Why oh Why is my Pod at the end of balcony? can't imagine my char dressing/undressing at the end of a balcony, plus it doesn't appear to be clean (at least for minmatar stations) If you really need to keep the pod at the end of balcony, make that place a bit more... private, or at least make it so that I can walk down there and let me see my watery grave up close. Just put there something that looks a dressing cabin or a semi-transparent thing where we can imagine our chars dressing before climbing into the pod. And try to imagine; the pod ejects from the ship, flies to the balcony, the armor plates open the pod egg appears, and then my char finds himself soaked in pod goo, all naked and on top of a balcony. He will be naked, cold, and defenseless and the place where the pod is now located is *not* a place where I want my pilot to find himself.
Also, make sure that we see the entering/leaving the pod sequence at least once. That's immersion.

4 but i had to change my standard settings(4870X2). First i had to set the present interval to immediate, else i had flickering lines, especialy the tope third of my screen(anti-aliasing made it even worse, collors started to change in the upper third of the screen).
There is also a strange artefact in all of the captains quarters. There is a ghostly figure of your char's shirt just before the door to the balcony. I think that is where you start for the first time.

I made a new minimatar character.
first off, i have a azerty keyboard so i can't move around easy
Second you get the sound warp drive active sound when you click on open ships hanger(when you walk over there just at the start of your first mission to pick up your ship.)
undocking for the first time also gave the warp drive action sound.
Also standard music settings are a bit to high, aura is sometimes a bit hard to hear
I can't see the reaper ship i just picked up after the first mission, when i dock fot the first time.
After i get back to my quarters, i wanted to sit down on the sofa.
I messed around a bit with the screen agent finder, planetart interaction and then i exited the sofa.
I couldn't doubble click my way out of it. Even when standing i couldn't double click and move. I had to use the keys .
The standard station interface on the right was gone, i couldn't find how to get it back.
I could only complete the mission through the journal something a player wouldn't know.
And then the help text started to disapear.
I restarted the client , and all was ok again(except still no ship to be seen from the balcony, and the ghostly shirt is still there).
Next mission, going to get the certificate. Very informative, especialy that nice collection of ships . So you learn know the t1 ships from the start! I liked that very much.
Doing the military career agent first.
Getting an armor repair to fit on ship, i should have had a skillboard in the crash course for it. No crashcourse to be found though.

I will test it more later.

Pretty minor, but there was an ad that came up on the main screen to buy a Rokh Blueprint, but the video next to it was of a Raven.

after hours of playing with the test build, i finally noticed that the reason most ships look smaller scale than they really are is because they are positioned farther away than frigate sized ships. i have seen that the ibis is MUCH closer than lets say a moros or thanny. can we have the larger ships moved closer to the balcony so that we can fully appreciate their size?

Besides this, i have found minor bugs here and there that include:
1. when first moving around camera after loading CQ, blotty black/white spots come up on screen and dissapear after maybe 3-5 seconds.

2. moving is a very sluggish-feeling task with the current controls

I hope this helps you guys working hard to polish this up for release date :)

over all i like what i see.

i did not see anyone mention transparent arms on their avatar.
i rolled up a new Gallente female and after several restarts of the game and a few graphics settings changes her arms are still quite transparent.

i have a screenshot of my avatar looking at her own transparent arm, nice set of mannerisms by the way, but no place to display it.

several people have pointed out problems, and i agree that these problems are quite noticeable.


i add my voice to the requests that there be an option to just not get involved in the CQ thing.
it looks good, i like it, i am looking forward to opening a bar in the station, but for now, i would rarely have it turned on.

after several attempts at setting the graphics setting to minimum, including all the presets you have available in the configurations, graphics are tremendously slow.

there may be a hot key to display it but i don't know how to look at my frame rate, but i don't need to, its slow.

i'll post the info on my computer here so that you will know what i am running.

if your not interested, just ignore.
