We have not forgotten the thread at all and we will be updating answers in the near future. The teams who are answering questions are also responsible for bringing you the next big expansion and are focusing on making sure that this is ready for you on time.

CCP Guard and I will make sure we remind the Devs who have been answering so many questions that there is still work to do in that thread Smile

Hmm...I see an adjective that doesn't belong in there. I mean, granted CCP is doing this broken down expansions thing now (which I don't like personally - gimme lots of content, because then you'll work harder getting it fixed.) but this is anythin but a BIG expansion - BIG step maybe.

If we're waiting until the BIG <replace expansion with your favorite word here!> is completed - the answers thread will fare just as well as the first one they did...as in it won't fare at all. Not that we were getting straight answers anyways, if the last few weeks didn't make that clear.

(I just want fixes - will pay AUR for fixes - oh wait I do...in the form of a SUBSCRIPTION)

I'm not much for *****ing and whining, but...

It's been 2 months and 4 days since the initial thread went up. Man up and tell us you're not going to finish answering the questions OR answer the frigging questions! COME ON! It's not that hard!

Just so long as they are not the ones responsible for the last "Big expansion"

Will the next expansion have just as much content as the last one?

I think Winter Expansion has a lot of potential. CCP is talking pretty big (nothing unusual) but they're talking big on fixing content and features, or revamping them into something new.

But the OP is about the 'devs answer your questions' thread - which they had done a long time ago (and I think failed to complete that one too). Thing is, as awful to a business this may sound, a commitment was made. The thread is very long but if five to ten developers and GMs were to sit down for one business day and go through it, they could know out a large portion of the answer thread, if not all of it. Many of the questions or simplistic, duplicates, or trolls - which means you can link 20 people all asking the same question and give one answer.

Keep it up Mara - They have yet to answer questions on Faction Warfare, CCP Soundwave is BACK and has yet to write a promised devblog on FW.

I can keep up the daily bump, but if you want results, more people have to keep bumping it too.

On the bright side, they just ran a FW event a couple of days ago, and apparently more are coming. That, to me anyway, would seem to indicate that attention at SOME level is returning to FW.

I'm awaiting insight into questions I had about internal procedures in weighing pro's and cons both economically and in play environment impromvents of changes in loot drop rates,

I also had a question or two about the actual development efforts it would take on a techinical side to tweak ship performances slightly if they did have internal consensus that some adjustments were needed in a given area. (I think I included in that question an inquirry into why they couldn't make tiny incremental changes to make a situation slightly less unbalanced while marking time for a more sweeping move that they hoped would achieve more true balance bewteen systems)

there is a significant difference between a distraction and developer attention.

the faults with FW are not something that can be fixed by CCP role playing an event once a month. they are fundamental design and performance issues that need developers.

unfortunately, eve doesn't get much in the ways of actual flying-in-space development anymore.

so, forget what i said, enjoy the events it's all anyone is probably getting for a couple years minimum. well... i'm getting a jedi consular, not sticking around to play the waiting game for another 5 years. FW wasn't just a broken promise, it was a slap in the face bold lie.
