I was going to try out duality for CQ and eve saying I don't meet the minimum requirements and need to support shader model 2.0 or higher...

My graphics card is Radeon HD 4870. I had no issues on windows like this but have since then uninstalled it again. I'm using wine 1.3.20 with PlayOnLinux.

Also running the shader model 3 checker from CCP reports I support SM 3.0 but within eve it's not being detected properly

Does anyone know why this is happening and what I could do to fix this before this hits TQ?

So this is a problem with my wine prefix... Any insight about what would be causing this? Possible registry values?

Hi Stoned Wish,

I had a similar problem with my Radeon HD 4770. This was solved for me by going into winecfg and under the "Graphics" tab turning on "Allow Pixel Shader". Have you tried that?
