Starting a fresh character that will be caldari based. I will be able to use +4's on wednesday, and was wondering if there was a fairly guided means to jump into missions. So far I have decided i can go straight training for a tech 2 level 3-4 mission runner, max out support/missle/ship skills from 1-4(5)'s by training time, or find out if there is a 3rd option. Thank you for reading this and any input you have to offer.

It's pretty tough to go straight into a level 4 mission runner without making some pit stops along the way. Most people need to get corporation standings and ISK as they go which means spending some time in smaller ships. At least the support skills carry over to almost any ship so I recommend spending time on them.

Don't hurry too much into bigger ships, losing a Raven because of low skills can be costly to a new player. The certificate system usually gives decent recommendations, but not always.

I have been staring at builds and looking at fittings since i posted this. And this sounds like good advice. I decided to get all my rank 1 skills level 4, and tech 1 requirements for a caracal. So i can do the epic arc and gain some standing from level 1-2 while i train my support to 4-5 and work toward tech 2.
