Until CCP starts doling out free ships and mods, PvP players cannot live without PvE players.

Your wrong. PvP players would continue to do what they do. Miners mine. Indies make stuff, people buy stuff, that stuff gets blown up. Repeat. Not having PvE would make the process different, but wouldn't eliminate it. IMO an mmorpg should not be you against the computer. If you want that go play Halo, or Supermario brothers. mmorpgs are about interaction with other players. Mining in groups, working with people to build something because they have skills you lack. Building your empire, destroying someone elses. PvE incursions are nice because they throw a wrench plans. Missions and PvE should be about training so you know how to react when a fleet warps in on you.

Please, I would like to know how PvPers would not run out of... every single thing without PvE?

I love how dismissive certain PvPers are of PvEers. Boy, I wish I could block people like this from buying the stuff I post and contract. I'd love to see how long they'd last without us looting missions, researching, inventing, manufacturing, mining, exploring...

Knowing how PvP goes (cause I don't only PvE on my toons), I'd give the average PvPer a week at the most before their ships all get blown up or their POS runs out of fuel, etc, and they suddenly find themselves with nothing to replace it with.

Yay! That's what the game *really* needs...

Good point. You don't see industrial ships with POS fuel and parts every day to refule yours...

Hehe, I will learn from my mistakes. I'll attack a breathalyser to my Eve account. No flying if i'm over the limit.

While we did get a little laugh out of that, I do feel for you though, one of my friends flew drunk and the next morning his carrier was no longer... umm... "anywhere"... It was just a memory...

I am curious though.. what weapon/ammo would one use to "attack a breathalyzer"

/me runs and hides....

Very Happy

It should be duely noted that the injection of ISK into the game comes only from Missions. Correct me if I am wrong. As to burning those ISK we all know how that works... Rolling Eyes

First off you assume I am a PvPer, how ignorant of you? I am NOT. I mine asteroids and planets. I build thing with that I have mined. Things that I sell on the market. "I" provide "you" with your ammo, with your drones, and your ships so you can run mission.

Removing missions IS possible. It would drastically change the game. Am I saying they are going to do it? No, but you are ignorant thinking that there isn't a way to do it.

I'm very concerned about this new Missionsystem. In the past it was necessary to move to another system if you'd reach the next level - away from your lv3 Q18 - to the next system with a lv4 Q -12 or somewhat. After that to a lv4 Q12 and at least find the system with your lv4 Q18-20. this was part of the game, and had some pretty influences to roleplay and gamedynamics...

Now it not necessary to move anymore. Okay, missionhubs like didoxie get nerfed now - but on the other hand you'd stolen a lot of the games dynamics now.
You made the game again a bit smarter, easier to lern/play, but so you'd opened the door once again a bit more for this kind of gamer that wasn't simply surviveable in EVE five years ago - the wow-kids.
I remember when I startet years ago - without German Client (yes I'm German), without Simplifying your EVE, there was no place for the 08/15-WOW-Kid - cause EVE was just too difficult, too technological, too serious and all in all to "adult".

Please CCP - don't make EVE to a "open for all" Game that even the dumbest kid could handle - cause there is the danger that you could loose some of the older ones that prefer a game without getting flamed by kids in the age of their own ones ;)

But beside this - thanks a lot for EVE. It's the worlds best game - and still the worlds best game-atmosphere. May it last forever!

I never understood why there was so much hate towards wow players,I played wow, and I can say by experience that while there is in fact, like in every comunity, a portion of dumbass, there is also a lot of verry nice people, who are actualy probably better gamers and pvp'er than you sir,no offense.

As for children, they have the right to play this game like any other games, I helped childrens in other mmo, I would help children in eve too, even if they are not verry good, keep in mind this is a game..

I didn't write this post in defense of wow, the point I want to make out is that EVE is a great game and everyone should have access to it, totaly dumbing it down is a no-no obviously, but simplifying parts of the game that were uselessly complicated, and to some point boring or uninviting to new players is a great idea, especialy the pve part because this is were the new players start and learn how to play.simplifying it can only invite more players into the game, wich is a good thing. The fact that a game is more inviting doesen't mean that every new player will be a total dumbass..
