EVE Online: Incursion 1.5 is scheduled for deployment during an extended downtime on Thursday, May 19. Downtime will begin at 07:00 UTC and is expected to be completed at 16:30 UTC. As well as introducing a long-awaited change to Blueprints which visually allow you to identify between originals and copies, a shakeup of Agent quality and Agent divisions, a change in the 'Connections' skill tree will also net you a refund of skill points to spend anywhere you choose and much more. A full list of patch notes can be seen here. |

Quote: The capabilities of the onboard scanner have been substantially increased. The range is now 64 AU and the delay to return results is only 10 seconds.

Edited by: Tiny Montgomery on 16/05/2011 11:10:00 The fact that the divisions have been changed from 20 to 3 is appropriate and now properly reflects just how boring and uninspired the whole missioning system is. I always knew the High Tech Connections skill was basically worthless, but its still disappointing to see it go. This is after all a Sci Fi game, right?
Still, its not a bad change. Just shows that Missions need a revamp at some point. |

What about R&D are those no longer around or are you going to get rid of all the invention stuff as well. |

So does this mean Sisters of Eve highsec lvl4 agents will now give all combat missions instead of 1 combat then 10 couriers? If so, YAY! |

With that high a probability for courier missions itīs going to be either courier or mining for you. If this is still the division-distribution. |

Where is related developer blog? CCP Soundwave and CCP Spitfire still bearing hangovers after trip to Moscow? Also converting Personnel division to Distribution (courier only) its a HUGE FFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU. As always CCP ignored our feedback on test channel. |

"Gicodel is a popular SoE hub for mission running. That L4 agent's division is now Distribution so only gives out courier missions - no more combat missions." ugh oh SOE just got nerfed. |

It says in the patch notes the new skill books will be in the hanger of your home station and that sp spent on the old skills will be refunded. They will likely do it just like they reimbursed learning skills, giving you a pool of sp to distribute at your choosing into other skills. You'll have to train the new ones up from scratch... Or just use the refunded sp on them. |

Ships with jumpdrives are now unable to use jump bridges with the exception of ships belonging to the Black Ops ship category.
oke oke. why the hell do you remove the option to jump trough jump bridges?
and ehm when is ccp actually thinking to put some more systems in the game? its getting full. we want grow bigger also. and still the remove of the learning skills its pretty crazy already and now with the connections skills. this will be no eve what eve was eay more it looks slowly to get a children friendly game.
i hoop you guys start to listen to the players more before just trowing in. |

Even jump freigthers will be concerned ? This means that I'll be able to use a JB with a freighter but not a JF, despite they are built uppon the same hull... |

Sorry but you are wrong. SoE got boosted. Osmon, six jumps from Jita, Guristas npc, 0.7 sec instead of 0.9 (more LP), combat missions only. But yes LP rates and prices will probably drop after hordes of Caldari Navy zombies find out this. |

Making SoE combat missions inaccessible to members of Gallente and Minmatar FW is kind of suboptimal. Please change the division of the Gicodel agent.
Additionally, please revisit some of the corporations that now have not combat agent at all. That's seriously suboptimal.
Also, please revisit the idea that system security affects payout. It would be much more sensible if, say, 0.5 - 1.0 would all pay out as 1.0 does right now, and +0.0 - 0.4 would all pay out like 0.0 does right now: Low-sec boost and simplified agent interface all in one.
Finally, what happened to the dynamic agent payout that was talked about on FF? Is that still upcoming? |

Shouldn't blog concerning such big changes come before they are made so that the players can express their concern, yes the changes are on the test server but most of us can't or don't have the time to check singularity regularly. Also CCP your beginning to act more and more like EA and since EvE seems to be your only big product atm that isn't a good thing. That's both counter-productive and stupid since SOE missions can hurt your Caldari standings . |

Edited by: Quinella on 16/05/2011 12:10:04 Better warning to all players about these updates would very much help in making sure people don't organise stuff for patch days. Under 24 hours notice unless you read all the forums/devblogs with potential patch dates isn't good enough notice.

Looks pretty neat!
Except for the uniform mission types. I think switching to 100% of a mission type from 50%/50% kills a bit of diversity.
