1. As regards industrial ships or transport ships, is there going to be any Frieghter like ships that can carry ships about that are fully fitted (and rigged) The orca can but it is very limited to size. Have a Frieghter tier2 for carrying fully fitted ships would be a good addition.
The reason for the question is that I am contstanly moving ships to one place to another but would be good if you could move all or most your ships in one move rather than one at a time.
2. Ages ago there was mention of a system wide asteriod belt rather than small clusters is this the case still?
3. Also ages ago mention of possiblity to chase comets through systems collecting resources etc from them. Is this still in the pipe line somewhere?
4. In Beta Testing you used to have all types of roids in belts the rare ones being of very little number unless in low/null sec. Can this come back again?

I have millions of questions but they all seem to of ran off somewhere so I may come back.

Amarr T2 have several missile based ships but the T1 variants are all turret based except a single frigate.

Was this intentional?

How would you feel about changing the Maller/Prophecy to be missile boats?

Some of the answers you've already posted have dates in them. They're in years because it's medium-term stuff. When can we expect to see this being the standard for pretty much everything that's coming (with greater accuracy for things that are short term)?

I don't think most people really expect you to meet every single deadline first time around, but giving us actual planned dates (and updating us when those dates have to change) is a better way of managing player expectations, no? I realise this would mean adding to someone's (or a team's) workload, but it's infinitely better than soon(tm).

My question: Are the developers happy with the current state of the Field Command Ships and their effectiveness relative to similar ships, by this I don't just mean "are the CS ships where you want them" I also mean "are the alternatives (the tier 2 BCs) where you want them to be relative to the CSs. If there's time I'd be interested in the same answer for the Fleet Command Ships and their position relative to Command Subsystem equipped T3s.

Edit: I'll post the reverse question on my alt to make it fair.

Command Ships have been in a state of limbo for a while now. They are one of the most skill intensive ship classes to train for yet have been mostly obsoleted by T3 cruisers and Tier 2 Battlecruisers for Fleet and Field CS variants respectively.

My question: Are the developers happy with the current state of the Fleet Command Ships and their effectiveness relative to similar ships, by this I don't just mean "are the CS ships where you want them" I also mean "are the alternatives (the tier 3 command sub equipped ships) where you want them to be relative to the CSs.

What is your Blue-Sky vision for the Eve Universe? "Dust 514" is a potentially exciting new direction (implementation is everything) but what other types of expansion directions do you see to extend the IP? An "RTS" type fleet-command/force-command? (commanders not flying ships) A direct piloting system? A more formalized galactic economy? (rule-based financial institutions, non-commodity markets, etc) A political game? Aliens? Robots? Zombies?

Throw us a bone here.

Hi guys:

Thanks for the opportunity to have my question answered. My question is:

Can you please explain the spawn mechanics for Commander spawns in asteroid belts? How often? Is it random? Once per constellation per time period?
Do a certain number of spawns have to be killed?

Also...when was the loot table on commander wrecks changed (ie they aren't dropping hardly any T2 salvage parts)?

What does CCP actually envision 0.0 being, a pure 100% PVP only zone or somewhere that allows empires to grow and fall?

Do the Devs working on 0.0 have experience in 0.0 and if so what side of 0.0 (PVP in a Sov holding alliance, PVP in a mobile merc alliance, indy, POS etc)?

It has been suggested that some wealthier players have legitimately spent thousands of dollars on plexs and bought a whole supercap fleet from it, is this within CCPs vision of how plex should be used? If not would you act to stop it?

The anomaly nerf was considered by certain areas of the player base to be very badly announced and implemented (bang in the middle of fanfest, nothing mentioned at fanfest and then once the 100+ page comments thread was up and running nothing else was said), how do you feel on this?

When, for the love of god, are POSes getting the upgrade treatment?

Why is a vessel's speed artificially limited, when there is no parallel in physics, aside from light-speed? Why can we not accellerate as long as we chose to wait for thrust to overcome inertia? I understand that some vessels might take longer (mass and thrust) to ramp up and down, but what law of physics restricts a BS to 110 m/s?

Do you plan on changing anything with supercarriers? They are overpowered. 1 on 1 titan vs a supercarrier the battle is close to equal, and 1 titan vs 2 supercarreirs the titan has no chance. Titans are susposed to be the untlimate fighting machines for lack of being able to think of a better term and yet supercarriers are pretty much just as powerful. And in low sec they have no pentilies, unlike titans which can't doomsday, inderdicters can't bubble to hold a supercarrier in place, and bombers can't bomb so supercarriers shouldn't be able to use fighter bombers in lowsec.

Are nebulae and turrets slated for this Summer, or are they a ways off? What are the technical challenges of implementing the new nebulae?

Edit:

I guess the when was already answered, but the technical challenges is still valid to at least tell us why it's taking so long. Do they take a long time to render? Do you have to change a bunch of code? Are you planning on having thousands of them and have to map out where each one goes so they look right?

1. Please address the whole Gallente/Hybrid problem. I've spent my first year surfing on the crazy learning curve of EVE (which is why I love this game) but its been depressing at how bad most of my race's ships are compared to others. It wouldn't bother me to switch, which is what I've now decided to do (Minmatar of course), but the investment in skill points almost makes me want to quit the game.

2. An idea about the Bounty System to perhaps fix it and push Incarna: When you pod someone with a bounty on them they wake up in one of the major trade hubs and in an Incarna CONCORD jail; their med clone auto relocated there. To get out of jail, they must pay an equal amount as the bounty that was on them to a NPC jailor. If they don't have the isk, then there is a lounge where other players can pony up the bail to the NPC. All subsequent income earned by the bailed out player would then be "taxed" at 50%, those taxed funds going to the loaning character. A 20% interest rate would be added to make this attractive to players to be loan sharks.
Having to pay an amount equal to the bounty to get out of jail to the NPC jailor would end the exploit of just having an alt/corp mate purposefully kill the character to collect the bounty as now you would not profit from it. Those who bounty hunt and manage to pod their target would get the original bounty, plus the knowledge that the offender now wakes up in jail and has to pay the fine. This may require some tweaking on how and when you can place bounty's on others (such as you can place a bounty when someone conducts a criminal act against you.)
This is probably a stupid idea, but it was a thought. Thanks for taking the time to listen to your customers. It means a lot.

A question

Why do ships have little windows If capsuleers are in pods?

A few serious Incarna questions

1. Will Agents every be approachable in a station?

2. What is CCPs opinion on the amount of text and lack of voice in EVE? Will incarna introduce a lot more speaking? (I personally believe that this deters a lot of new players)

3. When will we be able to walk around with other players?

Good job guys, this game surprises me every damn day.

The character creator only kicks out vanilla flavored characters, When will you be adding more Flavors? (Hair Styles and Clothing etc...)

Lastly : As an industry player I feel more and more unsupported by CCP in game play, The pvper's can do all kinds of nasty things to us and all we can do is dock-up or quiet playing eve.

I love the planned background graphics updates and the new turret animation plans. Are there any plans to re-skin or re-model other existing ships, as was done with the Scorpion (which looks awesome)?
