What are the plans for additional T2 BSes or T3 of any size?
Any plans on cutting down travel time? it's really not fun to waste 30 minutes doing nothing to get somewhere fun, be it hisec where all systems are the same or deserted lowsec.
Any plans for arena PvP? The worst thing about eve PvP is that you waste alot of time searching for interesting targets. Interesting means above 10% and below 90% chance of a win.
Plans on adjusting aggro mechanics to make griefing the hisec incursions harder? (allowing fleet to respond when someone harasses logi, or prevent loot-stealing).
Incursions are a good start, will there be a more advanced PvE content?
What do you think about some meaningful rewards that can't be traded in any way, like +50% to bonus effect of that rig on the ship that lasts while you own it. ejecting, trading, putting into corp hangar will remove it.

Wormholes:
make wormholes more exiting to new players by making effect strength independent of difficulty class - C1-C3 are most popular, but the system's effect is mostly irrelevant.

UI:
Plans for extensive combatlog?
Hot keys for tag assignments?
Fix tags so a player will see them even if he was not in grid or in fleet when they where assigned?
Add a queue of module activation commands to help deal with lag (fire at target A, while waiting for the cycle to finish, deactivate a module, click on target B and activate it again, so it will fire right after cycle completes; or being able to change ammo(freq crystals)/script mid-cycle with changes taking effect when new cycle starts)?

Modules:
Plans to make capacitor batteries(not booster charges), +% armor modules useful?

I'm wondering what is the exact sizes of the ships or at least the frigates to a person (also pod size to a person)? I have read the rifter/747 comparison. I have seen the comparisons online but there is no way to really get an exact comparison. I can get and have gotten a rough idea of pod size to a frigate through various means but beyond the itty bitty graphic of a person to a frigate on youtube or the EVE ships poster it's just too hard to get a "zoomed" in view.

A related addition to that question is is this general size comparison intentional? I mean only being able in-game to get a general comparison with a pod rather than a person standing right by the cockpit or a ship or something like that.

At least knowing the size of a pod to a person would give me a better idea. Is the person curled up in a pod half their size? Is the pod the same length as a person? Is it twice as big?

I have three questions:

1. Will I ever be able to change a characters name?

2. Will it be possible to change the colour scheme of a ship?

3. Would it possible to kill characters who loot the container contents from a destroyed enemy craft without drawing upon the ire of the security forces? Therefore, a player who steals the contents of a can from a Pvp wreck will not be attacked by the security forces, but can still be attacked by the player who made the initial kill.

The reason I was given at FanFest 2011 was that security status is coded into the database, and having it dynamic would mean far too much data being transmitted to the client.

Of course when you stop to think about it, you could encode the -10.0 to +10.0 range as a single byte, meaning you need 7.5kB to update the "bytemap" of all system security statuses. There are further optimisations of course, since you don't really need the system's security status on the client until someone opens the star map with stars coloured by "security", or when the autopilot has a path programmed in, or when someone attempts to activate a jump gate from hisec into a system which is now lowsec.

A "cache primer" could be sent to the client on every login, thus ensuring that the player has fairly recent data. Updates could be sent as systems change status, with the security system ensuring that sec status doesn't change particularly quickly.

I would actually like to see all space working by the same rules, with the exception that empires will have access to CONCORD upgrades for their IHUBs (i.e.: the technology enabling CONCORDs rapid response network). Add FW style plexes to nullsec, so small gangs can increase the security status by running their enemies' plexes, while allies need to keep running the plexes to keep the "ships killed by us" count high. Add IHUBs and TCUs to all empire space. Give faction militias the right to plant IHUBs and TCUs on behalf of their respective empires (i.e.: a TCU placed by the 24th Crusade will claim that system for the Amarr empire), including cyno jamming lowsec to ensure that FW fights only ever involve subcaps.

But this is a questions thread, I'll take my nonsensical ramblings back to the cupboard where I belong ;)

In regards to corporations and alliances. Are there any plans to enable the access roles etc that are available within corps to encompass alliances? i.e. have access to the corp hold in an orca in the same alliance. Also something like an alliance hanger?

You put all these players into systems together and make a joke out of locating them thus making it hard to solo roam.
So you have campers sitting for hours with black OP cynos waiting to get a kill because of this.
Presently people move via jumpbridges to high population systems, the gates are not traveled that much anymore.
Battleships used to be the mainstay of any fleet. Now there is a new "I win" Button in the form of supercarriers.
Dreads used to be viable but have been made obsolete.
So many ships are completely useless and could well be removed. Merlins anyone?
They used to fill a role that has now been taken over by larger and more powerfull ships.
The ship design evolve, yes, but then remove the outdated ships.

- Will there be a change so that Sanctums show up on overview once scanned and you can directional scan them?

- Are there any plans to make the HACs (Ishtar, Cerb and Zealot) good roaming ships again?

- Will Battlecrusiers be balanced ? (good tracking, dps and ****tons of hp makes it impossible for a HAC to fight them)

- Will super carriers be adressed so we dont all have to get one (and another account) in order to play the SOV game?

- Will EvE get the "big" feeling back? (Remove all or some jumpbridges so people have to travel again, even some of the highways in high sec could go)

- Why are there even tech I frigates when they are never used other than as cyno ships and those 2-4 first days in EvE?

- Will there ever be objectives for medium size gangs in warfare?

- Will EvE return from BO/hotdropping to combat with small mobile forces that actualy travel around using gates?

3) Will NPC factions get their own fighters, patrolling space or attacking players on missions?

5) Will warp/jump/cyno effects get an update? Old ones looked SO badass, and shouldn't warp create some kind of bubble, so flying trought planets and stations looked a little more "realistic".
6) Is there any chance that you'll try to bring realistic real-time orbiting of space objects, like stations, moons and planets, back?

There is bug you introduced in Incursion 1.4 (more than month ago) which causes API cvs export to insert extra line breaks after the reason field.
will it be ever fixed? wtf with you devs/gms? many bug reports, many bumps on forum and no reply for more than month!!!!

1. Will blasters get a relook? They are currently super nerfed compared to other systems due to their close range.

2. Are there plans for a dedicated gas mining ship (i.e. specific gas cargo hold).

3. Will marauders get a relook? The change to ECM has highlighted the extreme weakness of low sensor strength - will they be balanced to allow a more pvp role with higher sensor strength.

4. Name the singer (not the group) of my name.

5. What are your views on the supercap blobs now regularly employed in combat by those with the isk (especially those who know how to use them!). Was this what you envisaged? Doesn't this close nul sec options even more for smaller entities?

-A long time ago there was talk about various Stealth modules with modules on the test sever we could use. Any chance of these modules returning? If not why did you decide to not use them?

-Any chance of set items? Say you fit module A and Module B and you get a 3rd extra bonus. Or fit a Gallante Navy module to a Gallante Navy ship for a further bonus??

-In the game lore will the Yan Jung or the Enheduanni make any more appearance's?

-Are the Enheduanni involved in any other parts of the gamed lore apart from Theodicy?

-Have the players discovered every major part of the in game Sleeper story? Are we missing anything major?

-Current pure drone ships are the lowest DPS ships in game. Is there any chance of drone implants or drone damage mods so drone based ships can output the same or just below the DPS other weapon systems? Right now even railguns can outmatch a pure drone ships. I would love to see damage mods take up a high slot or even take up a weapon slot so you so you have to give up weapons to boost drones.

Any chance of making the home worlds look unique? I mean its only like 5, (Old and New Caldari). Cant we get a different skin for each?

Any chance of making it so that its worth raiding NPC convoys again? (only time I know of that you guys took sand out of the sand box).

You redoing the UI to make it 3D-ish. How about improving the in game maps, especially the system level one, so its more like I dont know...badass? So it shows the details you get from right clicking and "show info" but in a more cool way.

Have you ever thought about making it so when a BC or larger ship gets destroyed that instead of a "boom", there are pieces of the ship floating (clustered) in space with a (simple) animation of little puffs randomly all over the wreck (representing the crew using escape pods). It wouldnt have to be hi rez or detailed. You guys already show wrecks, why not add a little more detail. And once its salvaged or despawns you get a little "poof". *This could be toggled on or off in the options menu.

For that matter asteroids- when they are mined-out why not do a little animation? Just disappearing is well, lame.


Missiles, ahh what you could do with missiles. Id love to see the old style of missile launch animation. Or better yet, you guys are redoing turrets, why not do the same with missiles. You could have vertical launch animations, You could do turret style animations, How about instead of a single missile you have cluster missiles like the Starstreak (not three different missiles, just a different animation). Same with rockets.

Maybe most of all (and worst of all), how our ship take hits. What is it 4 different places on a ship that a laser "targets"? Im not saying battle damage, just spreading out the weapon effects. Any chance of improving that?

Will the missions have impact (other than economical impact) on the EVE universe at some point in the future?

According to fanfest 2011 material and QEN EVE needs more isk sinks. Is this something you want/need/must (to) do in the near future? Any good ideas for new isk sinks yet?

What are your opinions of the new CSM's idea to dedicate a team for ship balance?

2 questions if i may:

#1/ have we got god and satan the wrong way around? if we take the bible as our source and at face value, god seems like a bit of a ****. he seems to make mostly bad decisions, hes a tyranical dictator, vain but also lacking self assurance and allways needing validation. hes insanely insecure and seems to be quite the sadist when it comes to punishing the innocent but lets the bad guys of pretty lightly. satan, on the other hand, is laid back, lives for himself and looks after his own. he could even be called a freedom fighter of sorts, dependind on your outlook. if looking for a modern day equivolent? god would be gadaffi: ruling with an iron fist, death to any who oppose him. while satan would be hugh heffner, living the good life and telling everyone else to relax and enjoy themselves.

and on to q #2/ how about letting us connect black ops bridges through wormholes? even if only through 1 hole at a time, the systems are connected while the hole is open so why cant the bridge find the cyno and let us go through allmost mass-less as a stream of particles / digital information / however cynos work?

I've always wondered if you have crew in the ships you pilot.
in my minds eye i was alone in my pod in my ship.. that was the reason for the pod, to pilot all the ships alone cybernetically..

if you aren't alone id really like a crew system a little like the old game frontier.. were you'd have to hire ppl to help you crew your ships.. i wouldnt mind paying some monthly isks for the ships i fly.. it would defenately add to the feel of the game..

Can this be implemented? and is there anyone att ccp that this sounds like a good idea?

Are there any plans to revanp the whols POS setup? I am of corse refering to the nearly 5 year old Dead Horse thread.

It is clearly something that is wanted by a vast majority of players.

One other question - What do the people of CCP make of this unkillable thread, permanently residing at the top pages of the ideas board?
