On behalf of Nick Berry: With the era of the strategic cruiser come and gone, how does CCP plan to develop other Tier 3 ships? Most would say the major fleet roles have been filled. So, to sum up, what are some of CCP's plans for Tier 3 ships and what do fleet battles lack in the eyes of CCP that a ship could fill, as opposed to a ship mod?

Why can't we reduce the cooldown of Jumpclones to 23 hours? Otherwise when I jump daily there is at least one day I cant jump due to the fact that I loose a couple of minutes all day (sometimes to my wife ;)

Of course I would prefer it even shorter.

Couple questions

Will there be any new T3 ships in the game, or are the strategic cruisers end of the line for T3 ships?

Will there ever be new POS structures, that would make the POS look like a proper station, instead looking like something a freighter puked up?

1.Has a T3 Industrial ship type ever been considered, offering not higher yields than that of the hulk but sporting the characteristic versality of T3 enabling it to excel in different areas with the change of a subsystem? Good example

2.The POSs in their current state offer several difficulties as a result of outdated and impractical desigh.In most cases operating out of a POS is a horrible experience.As evidenced here, here and here there is massive support for their revamp for a very long time.Are there any plans to rework their outdated mechanics,functions and art?

3.Can we expect the new Nebulae,the new Turret Effects and the very much needed new Missile effect within a reasonable timeframe?

When are going to realise that you need to fix the game utself before adding new content? Yes new content is nice but having the current content work is something I'd prefer, most of all null sec being fun again? Instead of the fight being determined by whoever has the biggest fleet and jumps in first.

Will the next API iteration include Alliance API's?

API for Kills/Losses within an Alliance
API for Member Tracking within an Alliance
API for Starbases within an Alliance
etc. etc.

These are available for Corporations but would be extremely useful to large Alliances.

In a high sec fleet when one member is attacked why do the other fleet members not get to attack the aggressor (at least without getting flagged by Concord).

Do you ever think you can make 0.0 more interesting rather than just giant napfests. I realise this is a player created problem but there may be ways for you help fix this i don't know. If they do exist, are you ever going to use them and when?

back in the original thread, it was asked if you could make the warp speed of ships a more important factor, since as it is now there isn't a big difference between ship sizes in the actual time you spend from warping from A to B. This is because most of the time in warp is spent on accelerating and decelerating and in that part all ship classes are equal (or if there's a difference it's way too small)

Yeah, warp acceleration should not be the same for all ships. An interceptor should reach max warp speed in like 3 seconds and a battleship should reach top end warp speed in 12 or more. This could end up leaving stragglers on the field and add a strategy to the game. If you don't fleet warp or are not aligned your fat BS might be be left behind while the more nimble support or shield tankers make it out.

EVE is a wonderful game.

EVE also has a very rich universe. That universe is woefully underdeveloped in terms of content: Missions, story, exploration. Many new features have been added, but very little in terms of deep, engrossing story. Those parts that have been written largely exist in the books and chronicles (which have been discontinued?) and not in game. The new mechanics like Epic Arcs, Exploration, COSMOS, and the "Level" mission systems all seem to have been created with the idea of creating a deep content framework, only to be dropped soon after release. There is very little narrative that moves in a continuing basis, just little bullets scattered here and there with no arc in between.

Does EVE have a plan to offer really deep content like we see in other MMOs to the world, or will the "player-driven null-sec" model continue to be the norm?

I have a few questions!

* What is the feature timeline for the API? What additional things will we see at what time? (Asking for a planning timeline broken down by quarter, i.e., "we plan to have X, Y, Z done by 2011Q3")
* Why are supercapital ships so powerful?
* Can we get some market stats breakdown by station? Would be nice to see what trade is being done in systems in The Forge but Jita skews everything.
* Skill queue of more than 24 hours? Most of my skills are way more than a day.
* When can we expect to be able to tear down PI installations remotely?
* Why does my Quaff taste funny?
