So I wanted to test the theory, so I tried it again. Guess what? I fell asleep again. This time, when I woke up, I had been pod killed by Tech 9 industries. Not a big deal, but I would really like to know where I was when they killed me. Was I in New Eden or in Promised Land?

In case it has not been brought to your attention yet, it is clear from CONCORD records that you were exploded and podded in New Eden.

JOINT STATEMENT OF THE DISCIPLES OF STON

Extraordinary! This is the best word to describe what has happened this morning. First, thanks to Manwe for getting us started on this research. Second, thanks to Edaine for taking time and expense to assist us to the concluding event of today. Edaine took a specially equipped Minmatar frigate with a sustained speed of 3131 M/S and traveled from the coordinates I provided straight on into the stellar core. Upon reaching the core, there was a massive release of energy that accelerated his ship almost instantly to well over 300,000,000 M/S to a distance out to 900,000 from the stellar mass. The camera drone image below shows the quickest reaction Edaine could muster as his ship was blown away from the stellar mass. The velocity reading at that point was 325,748,224 M/S. Wow! You will need to load the image and view the larger shot to see the velocity meter number.

hitting the stellar core

We feel that this is an experience to share with all capsuleers and not keep secret. We want to provide the last bookmark recorded before hitting the core. From this waypoint one can fly towards the core. Do this manually. If you try to use the "approach" setting on your Nav it will show error. Instead choose a point right next to the stellar core and head to it. Depending on the speed of your ship, in a short time you will hit the core and be impacted by an enormous release of energy. This is nothing like warping. The acceleration ought to kill you, but it doesn't. It ought to destroy your ship, but it doesn't.

Because we are relative new at space exploration as capsuleers,we are not sure of the most efficient way to get this stellar waypoint out to the community of pilots who may want to test this experience for themselves. Any ideas? We used the Piekura star. Anyone who wants the coordinate can contact us and we will get it to you somehow.

The Disciples of Ston bid you the excitement of discovery.

I once managed to have the same experience roughly 2 years ago.

While testing combat probes, I managed to scan out a pod that for a time appeared not to move. I figured it in close proximity to the sun. I recall this was the Cat system.

Thinking that a fellow pilot had simply fallen asleep, I decided to investigate and once I warped in, found my battle cruiser being hurtled away at incredible (or apparently) non-warp speed.

What is so perplexing about this is that the capsule, while having a warpable signal on it, was never in the vicinity. Perhaps I managed to get a signal on it for the short time it was at the steller core? That would be very lucky, but the capsule appeared stationary on my probing results, and its presence was consistent. I have not revisited this matter since.

Mr. Wolfhammer: We have discovered that a capsule experiences the same phenomenon but is only thrown back a short distance. While heavier ships are thrown back hundreds of thousands to millions of KM,the Nav Com only measures 0 for the pod. I'm guessing you and pod reached the core roughly at the same time but the pod continued to register as 0km from the stellar center.

As soon as I am trained to pilot the new research vessel, I will be exploring stellar masses of various densities to record differences in the phenomena they produce.

I just read Ston's log for tonight. I agree and disagree with what he said. The gift of a trip to the stellar core is a gift, but not a simple gift. It is a gift that involves an experience of the physics of reality, whether or not they are couched in those terms.

I am glad that someone accepted the gift. If more pilots would take a break from the trivialities of greed and war, perhaps a true growth of knowledge, peace, and goodness would grow. I hope that the pilot involved will begin to allow the spirit of inquiry to grow within him and that more than wealth or violence will interest him.

Thanks for cracking the shell of distrust Ston. I appreciate it.

I would like to entertain opinions and analyzes of counter or cross directional warp tunnels. This phenomenon is frequent enough that someone ought to have studied it in detail. When they occur, they do not seem to impact the trajectory of the observing craft at all. Other than being rather disconcerting to observe, they seem to be innocuous. This would lead one to conclude that they are more or less a visible phenomena rather than an actual quantum occurrence.

We have seen through our study of the anti-singularity effect in high gravity situations such as stellar masses, that residual warp fields exist and have an impact on visible light among other things. Perhaps the cross directional warp tunnel occurs when a full power warp field intersects a residual warp fied left by another vessel. The visible "tunnel" is perhaps an echo of sorts, carried along by the moving vessel. I have also noted from time to time that there is no visible warp tunnel at all. Could the two events be related? Perhaps so.

Again, nature abhors a vacuum. It would make sense that the weaker anti-singularity would generate the visible effect as energy and particles seek out the presence of the least distorted space. I am also studying the theory of persistent residual warp fields that surround all vessels that have generated a warp field at any any time. More on that later.

It's not that hard to explain, at least whenever you consider the things at play with the warp fields. You have to describe the effects in terms of a special metric though, which may require some training in physics.

Just think about spacetime. Think four-dimensionally, and it all makes sense.

Indeed, this is why our ships are able to phase with some unshielded matter such as station ruins, planets, and other ships under the right conditions. Ever notice how your ship will pass through another ship when close to certain energy sources such as station docking ports? Ever notice how ships will pass through planets and the spacial warp will compound once inside the body?

Persistent residual anti-singularity warp fields are found most anywhere a warp generating ship has been. We can expect these occurrences on regular basis, but not always on a predictable basis. Time and observation should provide a baseline for prediction at some point.

I am Curious Manwe, do you have the equipment to make a video log from the feed of your camera drone? I am sure I am not alone, when I say a video of this happening when hitting the stellar core would be awe inspiring to see.

This has given me a new goal in the universe.

I have went out, found a great deal on a Minmatar Vigil. I have outfitted her for speed, and now can sustain 3999m/s.
I have already started on this journey myself, and recorded my waypoint when I couldn't stay awake longer.
I have alot of distance to go at the star I chose, but I think it will be worth it.

Be safe Disciples of Ston, and thank you for giving me the gift of this exploration. Would love to see a video log soon!

Dear Erelaszun,
Here is how to shorten your time. bring up the solar system map and find way points that if you travel between them the line passes through the sun or three way points on the same orbital plain where you could create intersecting additional waypoints. before warping between points, open the bookmark function and stand ready. In a short time you can create a series of bookmarks that gets you closer and closer and finally inside the solar mass. From there, the speed of your ship will get you there a lot faster. Once you have bookmarked a point very close to impact, save it. make bookmarks often so you don't have to do it all over again.

I wish I had the video capability to do what you suggest. If you do, please publish it for the community. I hope the shortcut instructions make sense. Knowing how to do something andexplaining it can be very different things, if you know what I mean.

I do understand exactly what you mean. However I must say, I am finding the Journey quite pleasant. With the built in safty of the camera drone, its quite nice to watch as I fly towards the sun, and can just make out the outline of my ship in the spectacular light the sun gives off. It almost feels like meditation as I embark on this journey into the stellar core. At my current speed, and distance I have already traveled, I have about 20 more hours of flying to reach my goal... and I am loving every minute of it.

It is nice to find something that takes my mind off of the normal grind that is daily life here in New Eden.

I do have the video log uplink to my camera drone. I will attempt to capture footage when I reach my destination of the stellar core. But who knows what that kind of burst of energy will do to the video uplink. I guess all I can do is pray it holds, and I can capture footage of it.

It is peaceful indeed. Make sure you save bookmarks every now and then. When you reach "0" KM from the solar bookmark, you can no longer use the "approach" function in the nav com. At that point you doubleclick on any point adjacent to the sun waypoint. As you near the center, the tunnel behind you will appear to narrow in diameter. To see another interesting effect, use the "look at" function and send your camera drone far away from the sun to view it while you are in it. Your will see visual disturbance. You will also be able to see how close to the center you are actually getting. Sometimes, it appears as if the corona is separate from the rest of the stellar mass.

My research in Korama is finished. I pinpointed the bookmark at almost exactly the stellar center this time so if you warp there, you will immediately bounce out to about 1.5 million KM in the Aletheia. If you warp in within 10 or so and finish the trip with the micro-warp on, you will bounce to 2.4 million KM. The added energy of the activated micro-warp adds nearly a full million KM to the distance blown back. If anyone would like these coordinates for Korama, we would be glad to share them. I need to get back to some Disciple work in Rens and Abudban. Balance is needed.

Manwe,
Do me a big favor. Please open a preservation hangar in our office in Rens where we can preserve clone bodies recovered in that area. There is no need to transport them to Korama. Do you have a copy of the text we use to contact the owners? If so, feel free to do that on your own. If you do not have time, just send me the contacts and I will do it. Log the the names somewhere for easy retrieval.

Lets us persist in the task of keeping humanity before the hearts of our fellow capsuleers.

O yes, I received your "gift" of the stellar coordinates for Korama. How shall I say it? "its quite a ride!"

Your Brother,
Ston

After observing a specific pattern among a number of capsuleers, I decided it was time to hit the archives and do some research. I have noted that a good number of capsuleers have shown an affinity with the number designation 666 by assigning it to their avatar name. I was curious as to the significance of this this.

I discovered a single primary source and thousands of secondary sources. Curious... The single primary source was a compilation of ancient earth religious texts. All the secondary sources were linked to it but had very little real connection to it. The Primary source had only one reference in thousands of pages to this number 666. It is found in an apocalyptic text referring to a man and his followers who have sold themselves to do evil. The number is referred to as "man's number." Apparently, in the end, it doesn't go so well for those who identify with this number.

Now, the secondary sources go hog wild with the number. Many of these sources were ancient forms of entertainment in the form of fiction, cinema, etc. Apparently the fascination with evil throughout history has not waned. So why do capsuleers of today still use this number? The surface reason is that some wish to identify themselves as evil or as partnered with evil. Perhaps there is an emotional quality to that Identification. This I do not personally understand, but I see the pattern throughout history. It also might be that as the infomorph drifts from humanity, evil is a tenacious vestige that sort of hangs on.

A side note... I have on very rare occasions also spotted the designation 777. Yes, you guessed it, this is a reference to ultimate good. In either case, my initial conclusion for both cases is, "I think thou dost protest too much." In other words, those who think they personify evil actually only wish to appear tough. Those who believe they personify good, are self-decieved.

O yes, Ston, I have set up the clone body preservation hangar in Ren's. I am ready to fill it up with corpses. I note that we have yet to successfully return a single corpse.

I am disappointed about the loss of our endowment. I did want the freedom to train more and to do more research. However, I am sticking with the Disciples. The Ren's office is closed. It was nice to have, but we didn't need it. I can outfit my own hangar for cold storage and bulk transport any bodies I find back to Korama when needed. Well, back to work.

If we, the Disciples of Ston, can but for a few moments, turn a pilot away from the pursuits of violence or accumulation, we have fulfilled our work. Tonight's work in Rens was humbling and rewarding. I was able to introduce two pilots to the gift of a journey to the stellar core. For just those moments, these two pilots were doing something that didn't involve any destruction or any exchange of ISK.

I commend these two pilots, because they were brave enough to allow themselves to risk being led by their own curiosity into a different experience. As usual, there were many warnings and much mocking by their peers, but they went anyway. They were not bullied back into the norm. This is a strength of humanity still present within some capsuleers and it is good to see it.

One of them gave me a gratuity of 1 million ISK. This will help pay the office rent since the loss of our endowment. Thank you, pilot from the Disciples of Ston.

The research into the stellar core phenomena has been time consuming and a little tedious, but now I see that it can be used to enhance the basic work of the Disciples. Sometimes diversions can become a peaceful accident of sorts. Such is the case here.

I will now begin work on paring down the stellar core in Abudban. I did a little work on it tonight, but my marks got off the orbital plane and so are useless. I will start over again tomorrow. The core bookmark in Rens was really close to the core. I was pleased with that.

I will not attempt to locate the stellar center in Abudban. The Nav points in that system are all on different orbital plains. However, Odatrik is just the system to triangulate the core. It has many nan points all on the same orbital plain. This I have begun to do. Now the part that takes patience... I have triangulated as close to the core as I can get, now I just head in a bookmark along the way. Soon, The Disciples of Ston will have the gift to offer the citizens of Odatrik.

Edit: just a note that the speed of light in a vacuum like space is 299,792,458 M/S. Our velocities for the stellar phenomena are exceeding this value. We are yet studying an explanation for this. Warp travel does not technically involve faster than light velocities but rather a space time warp. This however "is" faster than light speed. Pilot/scientist are welcome to weigh in with opinions on this.

I have finished mapping the stellar core in Odatrik. The coordinate is a bout 30 seconds from the core at 500 M/S. This is a small yellow sun and the residual anti-singularity effect is clearly seen in the aft view from my ship. The power of these residual fields is extraordinary. I am 30 seconds from the core of the sun and my vessel is not harmed, crushed, or burned to plasma; truly remarkable.

A quick word of thanks to Edaine for sending this still shot of his Hulk phasing with a wreck and camera drone. This is more evidence of the existence of residual anti-singularity/anti-space fields around matter that has been in a generated warp field.

I successfully reached and marked the stellar center of the red giant star Dodixie earlier today. Thank you, Renier, for your kind interaction on the subject of this star and for pointing out the issues of automatic navigation vs manual navigation.

Those who would try to reach stellar cores using the automatic settings of their navigation computers will find it impossible. Those who designed this equipment were wise and programed in multiple safety features to prevent accidental contact with stellar masses and the destructive forces of heat and gravity.

One must navigate manually to reach the core. This is "seat of your pants" navigation. I will not go into it here but will work on a short tutorial to post soon on IGS for those who want to learn how to do this.

Dodixie turned out to be one of the quickest mappings so far. The reason? Ease of establishing navigational bookmarks on the same orbital plane in transverse relationship to the star. This makes getting close to the core much quicker.

This is the first red giant star core we have reached. I have yet to document and data, but first impressions seem to indicate that the gravity of this star limits the distance one is thrown upon the impact with the core. I was able to set the bookmark less than 15 seconds from the core at 500 M/S. If you are flying a hulk, that is a bit longer. Anyone who uses our coordinates my fine tune their own bookmarks to fit the speed of your own vessel.

I would like to know if there is interest in a tutorial on how to reach stellar cores in a reasonable amount of time. If there is interest, I will go to the effort to explain and illustrate through cockpit stills on the procedure I use. Perhaps there are others who could then provide improved methods. Just reply here with your interest.

6 stellar cores have now been reached. Ston successfully reached the Jita core today. This is especially exciting because of the potential of enlisting a freighter to go into the core. We think that a massive vessel will rebound a much greater distance. We have seen this even in the difference between a capsule, shuttle, and frigate. We hope for date from a freighter pilot that Ston spoke to today. Lets hope.

This was an exciting day. We now have mapped a total of 8 stellar cores including... THE NEW EDEN STAR. I met very interesting pilots in new Eden today. All that I talked to seemed sincerely interested in what we are doing in stellar research. New Eden holds our curiosity like no other system.

Now, what I need is a navigation point on a line between the solar core and the center of the gate phenomenon. From that line, one can warp to the solar core and rebound toward the gate phenomenon. If one does this in a heavy ship, one could get several million KM towards the gate in just a few seconds. New Eden is very hard to navigate in that there are so few warp points and so it is hard to triangulate new coordinates. One is left with long travel times at subwarp. This is boring and dangerous; dangerous, because there are probe ships that come in to pick you off for fun if you are not alert.

I am a little worried about Ston. He seems melancholy. Perhaps it is the Achura influence. His revision of his initial entry was good, but what did he mean, "feeling human...?" The slavery thing is really on his mind, more than it is on mine. He has from time to time spoken of embracing human mortality. What does that mean for a capsuleer?

I have been taking my time getting back to Minmatar space from my time in New Eden. I saw that my route took me through Uttindar, so I decided to stop in at the Minmatar Mining Reserve and have a visit with Edaine. He is there working for the company for a while to establish efficient refining facilities with no tax for future mining ops. So, he says to me, "You been kind of quiet on the slavery issue that has been discussed lately on IGS. Are you riding the fence? Are you hiding out in stars so you don't have to lay your cards out?" I was a irritated at his candor. However, I knew he had a point. Ston has crossed a line and from this point on, he is an abolitionist. He would back peddle from it. I am a former slave. What is my problem? Am I afraid that my view will be discarded simply because I am a former slave?

I am not liking this about myself and I will tolerate it no more. I now get off the fence on the side of Abolition. The Disciples of Ston, indeed say that the time has come for abolition. The time has come for Concord to bring in the mechanisms to make the lawful rescue and freeing of slave possible for the capsuleer pilot. I am an abolitionist.

Fear, suspicion of everyone, and self-protection drowns the spirit of curiosity within the psyche of the capsuleer. Today in Rens I found fear to be the dominant motivator. The exception was a pilot named Aaron (name changed to protect pricacy).

I began by asking if anyone would like to experience the speed of light non-warp. This brought inquiries, of course and mostly disbelief. However I persisted. Soon, I had a pilot who seemed interested. I arranged to meet outside of the Treasury, but then he backed out.

Then Aaron expressed interest. I explained how it worked and that we would be visitting the stellar core. "That is impossible" he said. "no it isn't, I replied, we have found a way and I can prove it." Other pilots joined in with the typical "its a trap, blah blah." Of course the homosexual derogitories streamed out of local chat. What is with that anyway?

Long story short, he went through with it. He traveled to the core and experienced light speed. Aaron is to be commended. Here is the paranoia of Rens today. The explanation given by the nay sayers was, "he's an alt." What that means I do not know, but it seems to indicate that they thought it was a setup. How fear rules and quenches courage, curiosity, and intellectual growth.

Fear is quenching something even more important. Fear is quenching the courage needed by the whole free capsuleer community to rise up and demand abolition. Fear is perpetuating the wickedness of slavery. Fear is an intellectual cloak to hide cowardice. The Disciples of Ston will strive to expose this cloak whenever and wherever we can.

I must pause, meditate, and wait before responding to Ms. Goldcore. While I know I should not ever be surprised at the depth of self-justification, even self-glorification behind those who argue for the continuation of slavery, something she said rather topped the charts in this respect.

"My Flock" Yep, that is how she refers to her slaves. She has defined herself into a messiah complex in order to not be convinced that slavery is wrong.

How does one even speak to someone who believes she is her slaves' savior and that by keeping them in slavery? I would like to invent an expletive just for this occasion, but the Disciples aren't supposed to cuss.

As directed by Ston Momaki and Edaine Numenor, in about three days time, I will begin an intensive training program to equip myself to gain access to areas of space we have not been able to access. Several months ago, Ston made a visit to sub null space for a couple days. During that time, he was pod killed five times. In spite of that, he reported that the environment is ripe for the work and influence of the Disciples of Ston. The Disciples have agreed that will be trained and equipped to make trips into null and sub-null space as a representative of the Disciples and our values. Part of the the timing of this training corresponds to a couple of generous donations to the Disciples. Specific training materials/skill books were purchased with some of the funds. We are thankful for this.

We hope to be good stewards of these resources and to be able to expand our vision for peace, freedom and non-violence out into some of the most violent areas of space. How will we do this? First and foremost, by just being a non-violent presence in these areas... From there, we will need to develop methods and foci as we have throughout our work. I will do little else while I train, though I may try to chart some stellar cores during this time.

I would be more than happy to help financially or in person.
