New fresh WinXP install.
New fresh EveOnline install.
GTX 295 on a kickass PC.

Default graphics options are set at the point which stops them from working.

Login screen consists of a black screen and a white box.

Lower graphics settings will work-around this spashscreen but (which was reported a few months back).

Opening Settings UI results in Eve vanishing offscreen.

Higher default graphics settings cause BLOCKER and new user would quickly uninstall.

But you guys ****in suck anyway so who cares.

I especially like that once you do manage to get the welcome screen to render, the settings screen loads 3 feet off the left off the monitor.

Seems like someone in CCP is ****ing this up as a joke.

No way would QA spot it as they never do fresh installs or test fresh machines.

Or maybe you should get an OS that that has a modern version of DirectX? I've seen it run on many a win 7 machine with much lower specs than that, and recently too. Win XP doesn't know how to handle modern hardware anymore, why are surprised you are having issues? Rolling Eyes

That's just dumb. nVidia released new drivers just yesterday.

Yeah. I can see how a stock computer not being able to run the game is a good thing. heh

Are you sure your monitor is not set to use two monitors. Sounds like it's landing on what xp thinks is another screen.
