LinkageGuess it was only a matter of time before Samsung got stung for trying to make their devices for tablets and phones look and feel like Apple products. It does beg the question, which Apple are asking, "Why not try and make something original and unique?". Can't wait to hear what their answer is... AK |

That's not what Apple is asking at all. Apple is saying "Why are you being so successful in OUR market! You're stealing our profits! Quick, lawyers, find something to sue them about!" |

That's not what Apple is asking at all. Apple is saying "Why are you being so successful in OUR market! You're stealing our profits! Quick, lawyers, find something to sue them about!"
I think (reading between the lines) they are saying 'Samsung are only being successful because they are copying Apple', but I doubt they can openly say that without envoking the wraith of emoness. AK |

Reading into it they are saying that they know Android based systems are now a valid threat to them and what more they are afraid Android based systems will be better than them in a year or two. So if they Sue manufactures using android over features they have a lose claim on they may be able to slow the development of high end android units that can match the Apple products.
Apple are fine ones to ask "Why not make something original and unique". Fortunately for us the consumer the company goes "Hey why should we. We can do what you do as well if not better and cheaper".
It is called competition and it is something APPLE hate. I only hope they get action taken against them for trying to back handedly gain market domination so they can keep ripping people off. |

If a certain layout works, then you use it!
Dont see car companies complaining about other car companies for having their engines up fron like others, and steering wheels round etc etc..

I read alot of stories from engineers from ex-USSR. Mostly same story: 1. Hire foreign developer to invent something for your company. 2. Write in patent names of koreans in first place, even if they done nothing ( link to US patent, see inventors and Shafir name. Full story is here on russian, but all noticable documents on english/korean) 3. Fire developer with rediculous unfair reason. 4. Throw him away from country without paying any salary. 5. ????? 6. PROFIT! The most noticable example: Richard Garriot was fired from NCSOFT when he was in space and no one paid him his money after all. |

Apple do have a point to a small degree as Samsung did for some reason make there theme very similar to apples. This is deliberate too as none of the other android using manufacturers are using a theme like that. If I wanted an interface like an iphone I would have bought one. |

I find it hard to ever find sympathy for Apple as they overuse their legal department. They have done crazy stupid stuff like attempting to Sue NYC for their use of the term "The Big Apple" |

All earnings, big corporations are getting, that dont require any physical or intelectual work, should be nationalised. (Thats the real socialism). But instead, they use it to bribe politicians and government, brainwash consumers through media, and sends lawyers on other companies while expanding their monopoly  |
