how about a colour code to show true sec in 0.0 like we have in 0.1-1.0 sec... right now all o.o is red... make it so -0.1 to -0.5 = red and -0.6 to -1.0 purple

please add a skill that reduces the cost for clones...

my main has over 100million sp and its getting rather expensive to die...

make it a 7.5% reduction in clone cost per level...

Call it Cyrogenic Holding negotiations:
One who posses this knowlege in buerocratic processes is able to get a reduced clone contract price...

1. Clones: Clone insurance ON by default. (opt out of clone insurance is optional)
2. Manufacturing: Default Installation is the factory slot closest to your location and most ready to be used.
3. Drones: Easier drone control / more drone control options.
4. Overheating: Bigger overheating buttons.

I would tell CCP to re-hit the prevailent overview bugs that always seem to come up when switching between tabs quickly, using tags in fleet, and switching presets. Seems like the HUD windows when pinned has many bugs when opening new ones like the mini-map, scanner, or nesting within HUD windows.

This is across all my clients. Very annoying to have to redo things on the HUD half the time.

My problem isnt small but affects few people so i thought it may be relovent for this team.

I live in a 0.0 NPC sov area, my alliance has been there 5 years. We have 6 systems that are NPC sov. This was not a problem before the new sov changes because all of the systems would get the same amount of sites for farming/ratting/hacking etc.

For NPC nullsec systems i propose a mechanic that would increase the systems worth somehow. whether it be through a combination of missions, faction, and cost. we are willing to do the work and understand having better systems would require us to defend them more, but that is the nature of every system. why not allow us to leverage these NPC factions so there systems are better?

This is a very niche reply seeing as though there are not many npc owned nullsec areas. But i dont think it should go overlooked.

Thank you
San

I'd like to offer some insight into fixing problems more easily, but most of what I might say would sound redundant and has already been said. However, there is one recurring problem I frequently notice in online games: The producers seem to listen a lot to the talk on the forums, while that's not necessarily representative of the actual playerbase. To give an example of what I mean: The Drake stands out in its niche and does what it does particularly well. Those players who enjoy the Drake and/or have the appropriate skills to make use of it find it to be a great ship and have no reason to go to the forums to talk about it when they could be flying it. But on the other hand, the players who don't have the skills to fly it and/or don't find it to be an enjoyable ship will swear up and down that it is overpowered. They will take this issue to the forums.

So in the end, you hear about all of the problems here on the forums, but you don't see how many players agree that it's a problem versus how many disagree. Perhaps that means there needs to be more voting, I'm not sure. Hope that helps.

P.S.: My personal opinion is that the Drake's low damage output makes it ideally suited for tanking and nothing else, and the overuse of it in fleet warfare is due to laziness and poor planning skills. But don't take my word for it. Be your own judge!

And I will swear up and down that you can't deny that the Rifter is overpowered. I love flying those things, they make up over 50% of my total frigate flying. In retrospect, I'd like to see more pilots of other tech 1 frigates prove me wrong...

Let Team BFF go through the Big Thread of Things to Fix, pull out 100 (or 200, or 50) individual items that they can fix and are willing to fix, then let the us prioritize them via voting. Items are fixed in the order of most popular to least, with the understanding that there is no guarantee that items far down on the list will be fixed in the next few releases if ever.

More visual mission details. Point to point objectives on a map instead of a wall of tiny text. Incorporate the show info and links into the map, with po-up on mouseover text, to identify specific objectives.

This might help with new player learning curves.

Corp Bookmarks.

Being able to open up a saved fitting and having the option to buy everything from the market, at the lowest prices, and then have it fit automatically to your ship.

Being able to overload modules while cloaked from a recent jump or from a cloaking device. ( I understand that this is more of a balance thing.)

What about T1 to T2 salvage alchemy? Could we put limited run BPC's (enough to convert raw materials for several rigs) for the alchemy process into the loot tables for hacking (radar) sites? Could we limit the alchemy process to low sec and null sec?

1. I think perhap's you're going to have to explain this one.

2. never seen a jump drive, but I think the idea is that they are supposed to result in ships popping up unexpectedly. j/k :)

3. I think a better idea, would be to make the rest of the ships smaller, as they are already scaled to proportions that make them big next to planets, stations, and POS.

4. So, only pod's should be self-destructible? something has to be, or people could potentially require GM's interceding on their behalf to get out of wormholes. Really, so kill it faster than the self destruct sequence, or lose the kill, I don't particularly care as it's not a real issue.

5. Yeah, that's kind of stupid, but pirates are monkeys.

6. A little extreme, basing RR consequences on security status. There are other ways to do it.

7. I use drones, and yet I have no idea what you are talking about.

8. I believe this belongs in the ship balance thread requested by CSM, and perhap's could use a little more detail. Aside from that, everything else need's to be picked up, where Drakes are about where they should be and could even use a little fixing in some areas.

9. What? Nothing is sticky that I am aware of, though everything has cycles. Click it, and it will cycle out and die. Anything else is a bug, that you and a select few others may alone be experiencing.

10. That's just picky. It's not an FPS game, we can't really expect our accuracy to be based on graphics or vice versa. We don't actually do any aiming.

11. Curious notion; no idea what you are talking about. You seem to have a lot of problems.

12. I beleive you need a better computer. I never have a problem with this, and everything saves just fine. Problem is likely RAM related, and may be the result of memory errors or something. Either that, or your character node is stored on a bad server.

13. lol.. maybe you can get a friend to bring fuel, and pop it in the bay before the countdown completes :)

14. Graphics stuff; not sure what the problem is.

15. again with the computer stuff.

16. vague. Are you talking about the blobby white graphical glitch? If so, it doesn't require being far away.

17. Really picky. I've never taken the time to put a stopwatch on acceleration/Deceleration.

18. Yeah, textures need a refresh. Gallente is blobby and grotesque, Caldari is grey and splotchy, and Amarr is kinda chunky. Larger the model, the more the texture is stretched. Smaller models mean better looking textures.

Guess i should elaborate, and you should play eve more

1. is an overview bug when something leaves grid/joins fleet on grid/dies on grid you land on grid random things have the tendency to show up purple in your overview
2. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qy9boh6vDfg&feature=related -the old, new is same as a gate
3.Motherships are far to small, Make them bigger, also resizing EVERY ship so that capitals feel bigger is to much work
4. The best solution to this problem is the bigger the ship the longer the self destruct timer
5. I am a pirate >:o but im not a monkey so i sit there and take it like a man, should still get killmail if dies to concord
6. Im stating this is how it is, and i dont think it should be... you dont know much :|
7.In a very recent patch (goddamitplay more eve) we got drone damage notificatons, they tend to drown everything out with thier spammageness
8.Theres a thousand threads and ideas on how to balance drakes, im jsut calling it because they annoy me
9.This is a very annoying bug, if you fly ships with mods that you pulse alot (micowarps/shieldbosoters etc.) you will find sometimes the cycle timer will turn red and never turn off, to resolve this you need to unlock your modules swap it with another (its actually green and still cycling) then turn it off again, alot of people have this problem
10. "The smaller the better"
11. When you change a ship inside a station you go through a session change, i dont feel this is needed, and it annoys me
12.I need a not so good computer, i use multiple screens with differnt resoloutions, if i take a client and put it on the smaller screen it would be nice not to have to sift everything then shift everything to fit and shift them back when im done, a "Load window posistion" Button would be wonderfull
13.It gives you a "Not enough fuel" Message Then starts a countdown, which as i stated is pointless(little things)
14. In the Apocrypha Expansion a while ago alot of awsome graphics disspeared (like the jumpdrives)
15. If you pull and launch your drones alot or use drone control units your drones window will tell you that you have 4 drones in space when you have 5 or whatever number
16. No not the HDR bug, if you pan your camera and hold both mouse buttons then move the mouse backwards and fowards to zoom (now zoom a long way) the textures get very weird, try it
17. its really isnt that picky ive never stopwatched it either

1. Okay, I've never seen that one. Would assume it has to do with lag, or is related to it in some way, resulting from server-client communication
2. Nice. I can see why you miss it. Assume it was dropped as part of the lag battle.
3. Actually, resizing ships is simply a matter of scaling the model, as all the textures are formatted to the model surface, so it doesn't mess it up. I suppose that may be dependent on the 3D program as some are primitive, but I'm fairly certain CCP's isn't. Either way, the texture wrap only takes about an hour per ship, and the scaling is maybe 5 minutes, using a model temporarily imported for scaling purposes.
4.That actually makes the most sense. 10 minutes for a Supercap or Titan would be good, and 15-20 minutes for a StationTwisted Evil. Just thought I'd get that int there. Wink
5. heh :)
6. Well, I'm saying that a person who has -5 or lower security status always has it, so that's not really reasonable to base GCC on. Not that it really matters, at least not to me.
7. Well, thankfully I haven't used drones in awhile :)
8. yep
9. Again, I'm going to assume this is server-client communication error resulting from lag.
10. I assume you mean attention to detail is good. It's true, and it wouldn't hurt.
11. yes
12. ah, I see.
13. yep
14. See response in 2.
15. I never used drones that much.
16. I will.
17. I like that it decelerates and speeds up, but it could use less time on both. This would make max. warp velocity mean a lot more.

While the concept of fixing "small day to day things that annoy players" is awesome, I'm very concerned at the quote above (which got buried in the massive pile of tinfoil and fetal alcohol syndrome that is the EIP thread). Game balance changes with such wide implications should not be sat on a list next to "now theres a picture of your face in the trade window".

I'd like to see negative icons effects working just like the targeting brackets. You can set the icons vertically and where you want on your screen. They would be a bit smaller than target ships, and they would display web, scramble, weapon disrupt etc..

Give me the option of ignoring worms when exploring.

They share signature size with most low-sec exploration sites and one can spend hours rooting them out before any actual fun/ISK can be had.

Streamlining the process:
Create a specific and sticky thread with a very strict rule and its own dedicated moderator.
- Whenever a proposal is raised and supported by 4-5 people, posts mentioning it is deleted and added to first post.
- Raising issues already in main post or in old 1kThings threads is considered spamming (this is the strict rule).
- When 100 issues have been identified they are sent up the chain, thread is locked and a new one opened. Sticky maintained for reference as 'old thread' (see above).

Don't think there is any way to do it that doesn't involve a lot of leg work or having to deal with sheer chaos.

Faction Standings gain/loss needs to be balanced. Currently, this system results in a general loss of standings with NPC factions across the board, and no gain of NPC standings except with one or two factions, by completing Cosmo's, storyline, and Data Center missions, which also result in harsh penalties to other NPC factions.

I'd call it ~90% loss to 10% gain for NPC Faction standings. Personally, I think this is rediculous, and see no reason why a player should suffer Enemy of State Standings with 1 or 2 Factions, (not including Pirate or NPC Variant Factions), to have relatively good standings with another, losing the ability to enter various security levels of enemy faction space as their standings decrease, Diplomacy skill or not.

This should be changed in favor of increasing faction standings gain, without also losing NPC faction standing elsewhere, in some missions, increasing the opportunities for NPC Standings gain by awarding it in all missions, and decreasing the loss of NPC Standings in general. The current system is a deterrent to mission running.

Well to start,
The skill queue and vacations, whenever I go on vacations I always end up in a situation with my skill queue. The first time this happened I wasn't prepared for it and my laptop did not have EvE on it because it has problems downloading EvE. It got to the point where I had to give an extremely trusted friend my username and password and have him update my skill queue that I contacted via EvE GATE and I thought that as you can view your skill queue through EvE GATE, it would be very helpful if you could update and change your skill queue through EvE GATE. EvE GATE is already password protected and you can even send messages through it so why not have control of you skill queue through it. It would help me a lot and others I'm sure, because you can say "Just put a long skill in training" but as I'm still a rather young character and i don't have many skills long enough to cover my vacation but at the same time none of them are the ones I want to train at the time. Using EvE GATE I think would solve my problem.

Thanks

Anti-priacy VS Piracy and the sec status system.

I have been anti-pirate for the entire four years I have played eve. I have no desire to become pirate or even go global on targets if i don't have to. I have taken breaks from the game, due to my frustration with this. There is no direct benefit, to being an anti-pirate, except that you can fly in highsec. This is wrong. No offense to pirates, as i understand it is a way of playing, but there are much more benefits for being pirate than being anti-pirate, and its very hard for people who live in low sec, not to lose security status trying to fight pirates.

First off, I believe the security status system needs a rework, starting with some simple logical fixes:
1) Empire factions do not support piracy, Thus pirate players should not be able to join the militia.
- straight up and simple.

2) Corporations should have A security status or concord standing, just like they do with corp and faction standings
- Even if an entire corp is -10, you still have to GCC there poses in lowsec in order to shoot them. This change will allow players to shoot their POSs and anchored cans. Furthermore, the sec status should effect all players in that corporation, so that one >- 5 in an entire corporation of -10s can't just fly around as they wish, without being able to be fired upon. THis also would be the fix for pirate corporations joining the militia

3) You should not gain Sec status from 0.0 NPCs, especially in SOV space.
- Right now as easy as it it to lose sec status, it is to gain it, if your willing to go out to 0.0, and true anti-pirates and pirates don't generally FLY in 0.0. In 0.0 there is supposed to be no or very little concord influence, so why can you even gain sec status in 0.0, if you can not even lose it. Bounties are understandable however as you are killing a wanted NPC character, but its not like your doing it in empire controlled space. Thus its not like your helping the security of the system for the empire. It simply does not make sense.

4) Players should gain sec for killing -5 and below as they lose sec for shooting -5 and above.
The math on this is dicey, to ensure it is not abused, but i could kill neg tens all day long and not get a sec status gain for it, and if i wanted to gain sec have to find some NPCs somewhere to kill. It simply does not make sense. The trick would be getting it so that -10s killing each other does not allow sec status gain.

5) There is little or no deference in a 0.4 system to a 0.1 when it comes to NPC anti-pirate aid.
I really don't know how to fix this, but a 0.4 system should be safer than a 0.1 theoretically, and that is really where most of the pirate forces are, on the edge of low sec. The only thing I can think of is NPC ship deployments on 0.4 gates when someone GCC, much like the rats that show in highsec when you just into a caldari system and you are in the mini militia. It could even be a benefit to pirates to KILL these. They could drop something or what not. Also, killing NPC pirates in a higher security system should warrant more sec status gain, as the NPCs pirates are invading deeper into space concord obviously cares more about, or the reverse could be said 0.1 is helping concord more, until you reach 0.0 where there is no influence.

I'm tired of having to GCC POSes and people that with pirate organizations and lose my sec status because of it, and have a hard time getting it back up, especially in low sec where most anti-pirates and pirates live. I also know plenty of other anti-pirates feel like I do, some even within Electus Matari, a well known anti-pirate organization. There is simply no real benefit to being an anti-pirate these days, its frustrating, aggregating, and makes me, and plenty of other people I know enjoy the game much less.

Hate me for it but

I suggest to change the reprocessing or the Volume of the Items

so it is now:
6.000 425mm Railguns (300.000m) can be transport with 1 JF
after reprocessing you have crazy ~8.400.000m minerals
