Don't know about others, but I never lost my eyes, it's just a protective cover, so when I will be able to leave the darkness of my pod, they won't burn from natural light

Btw, don't you think I'm kinda cute? Wink

i think the white eyes it's one of the *unintended* features of CCP, simply CCP made the original char creator and some players found that the posibility to morph faces also allowed to put the eyes looking at such angle that the irishes vanished (hence the white eye).

Then it got popular for some players and it become a *feature*

This explains why BRUTOR have white eyes.

This raises the question: What are the other 7 bloodlines doing with a genetic disease inherent to us?

The answer to that is.... well, I'll never tell and neither will their moms. YARRRR!!

When you live with your brain plugged directly into the integrated sensor suite of an interstellar spacecraft, petty little things like being biologically blind don't matter. In many ways, Capsuleering is the most egalitarian career option in New Eden. It doesn't matter if you're as strong as Roc Wieler or have the physique of Steven Hawking. It's the mind, not the body that matters once you climb into a pod.

Except that people who arent physically fit tend to reject the implants required to interface with the pod.

Though I agree in terms of superficial features such as sight.. i just don't think Hawking could live through the surgery.

I was kinda thinking with all the characters I did it with that for as long as theyve been plugged in the pod, and the number or reincarnations, they may have become vestigial and not work anymore anyways

not that they didnt work to start with, that they may have over time stopped working. Or maybe that the pod cloning system had a flaw, and in a clone breeding this flaw was discovered but not corrected, causing his eyes not to function, and it wasnt a really big issue given that he's plugged into the starship's sensors more often than he would ever actually USE eyes.

It's alright if they are in the pod, but I can only imagine the trouble they will face walking around the stations.

It's a means of identification, the people with white eyes are the ones that don't want Incarna, who needs to see when you don't want to leave your pod?

CCP got rid of bloodlines, leaving us with White, Asian or Brutor for choices.

They have white eyes so they aren't cross-eyed like the rest of us, I hope they fix the "I've been hit in the head once to often" cross-eyed look in the next patch or so

Why not? Fits my story, looks kinda cool and its an option. You're in a pod, who needs eyes, just plug me in.

Of course once they impliment the ability to walk around a station i expect a cane to be issued upon docking.
