Is there currently a tool or would it be possible to develop one based on external information or API that can:

+ Calculate potential Safespots 14.5 AU from any Celestial.
+ Provide User with approximate timing to achieve bookmark in the general area based upon their warp speed and acceleration/deceleration.
+ Allow the User to select which celestials he wants to avoid, in the case of small systems that cannot completely out of scan range.

I need to pull the following information:

XYZ coordinates of every celestial in system, the ship type, and any information relative to caculating the acceleration and/or deceleration.

The Interface would list a celestial to warp to to begin the warp, and a realtime countdown would start once warp has initiated and you will Drop your bookmark when it hits 0. Ideally providing you a bookmark that is "Safe".

I have Freshman level coding experience, but this seems to be posible.

Oh it's possible all right... But I hope you've booked some time off work. I wouldn't like to try making that. It's going to be murder lol

Shouldn't be hard to do, but I question its utility. Being off by even one second in, say, a covops could put you 13.5au off course. I guess you could then use the XYZ of that location to plot a new safe to get more and more accurate, but still...

Personaly I just look at the map and give it a go, then again I mostly fly cov ops so I don't concern myself much with safe safes.

But indeed, 10.000 nerd points to you good sir if you pull one off Very Happy
