The server rendered tattoos use different opacity settings compared to the client.

Local render
Server render

The opacity slider is at about 33%.

Also, the beard stubble is looking much better locally as well.

Used the manual patch download again this time around.
Cleared chache from client first, ran patcher - worked first time!

Thank-you for fixing the patcher/checksummer/whatever broke last time. This patch ran flawlessly.

Now I really hope that the mining-laser-cycle not completing gets fixed real fast, because the ability to cycle-steal from bots is an effective weapon to fight back against them.
/me doesn't like this bot-buff mining cycle change!

Server one seems to have more AA... it's.. blended :D I think is better, like for hairs and clothes, but not for tatoos and bread.

- Skill training times INCREASED, not naturally decreased when compared to time before DT and time after DT+Upgrade. (??)

- WAY TOO MUCH "lag time" to UNDOCK, meanwhile your ship is already showing to others outside a station (open target scenario).

- Status of people not updating properly (out of fleet, but still purple; people online but shown as "offline" red; etc)

- Dragging an item from Deliveries into a cargohold is not giving the option to split the stack if "not enough space" is detected/calculated. Not even with use of the SHIFT KEY. All containers must be open and items must be manually dragged into the container's window's space.

- REPLY ALL to a posting in a Mailing List only send your response to the first person in the recipients section, even though the line has "To: [character individual], [ML]". Thus response never goes to mailing list.

- Hitting END sets your cursor to the beginning of a newline in mail composer. Using cursor left key puts you 2 characters to previous line. Unable to touch end line character.

And now: "PRE-1.4 FILED" BUG REPORTS TESTED IN 1.4 (for the short time 1.4 was "functioning" today)...

- STILL: ALL MAIL written/received between Feb 21 UTC DT through Feb 23´s UTC DT are not being remembered as being read and replied to. (BUG REPORT #108058 "Attached to a defect" UNFIXED)

- STILL: In CEO/Corp Interface> HOME > "EDIT DETAILS": AUTOLINKING is not working. Highlight is interpretted by text composer as appears to be 10 ASCII characters "to the right" of highlighted text intended to be autolinked. ERROR HAS BEEN OCCURING SINCE INCURSIONS 1.0.0: confirmed by GM Renril (BUG REPORT #108061 unanswered)

- STILL: "Window amnesia": Game is not remembering where windows are or how they have been resized. Same with ASSETS window, which has width limitation. (BUG REPORT #108069 unanswered)

- STILL: While in game, all OTHER people´s portraits in chat windows appear smooth (anti-aliased), except my own. (BUG REPORT #108064 unanswered)

- STILL: The "DELETE" key can cause odd "re-ordering of lines" in a mail composition, esp when hit on a blank line. (BUG REPORT #108074 "Attached to a defect" UNFIXED)

[then eve server went down at 22:16 UTC before further testing could occur.]

And will someone EITHER KILL THE AUTO-DROPPING INTO CONTAINERS ability -OR- at least make that action work ONLY WITH A MODIFER being held such as: ALT+Drag to drop items into a container. With windows not opening correctly, one loses "screen real estate" quickly with overlapping and trying to move items/ships around is becoming a hatefully redundant task (or artful skill, like moving a ship into your ships window but you have to drop it on the window header bar, not in the window itself, because it thinks you want to magically cram a freighter into a BC...

Industry is borked as the newly added builds don't show up, and inventions on another account don't even show up to be delivered. Worst patch since the boot.ini event.

When I open my Fittings -> Browse window, I am told I can move up to 50 of my fittings to the server (the rest will remain on my harddrive). So I pick 44 out of my 83 stored fittings and press "OK", but nothing happens. The window stays up, no status change, no progress bar...are they being copied? Is one invalid (I didn't select the awesomely fit Capsule nor Cattle ;))? Are 44 too many to copy at once?

If I hit Cancel the window closes, and I click Browse again and I get the same prompt, with 0/83 selected. :(

Well, locally rendered portrait = the portrait that ends up in the cache folder once you hit the camera button, it is always without AA applied.

This is how the character is rendered on screen with everything maxed.

Annoying flickering with most recent ATI drivers here too... why is it that lately eve requires new ATI drivers every single patch to work?

Btw. i still have annoying weird colors on "ALT TAB" from last big patch also still left with latest drivers.. Bug report is saying not filtered for month now...

The only issue I seem to have is in the Character creator. My model is very detailed, looks great but, seems to be allot more laggy than before. When i first did my picture it was very smooth. This time it seemed to take 5+ seconds for each change to take effect. This includes all changes from hair color to face shaping, eye chances ect. I currently run a single ATI HD5770 and had no issues before. Just throwing this out there to let the devs know. All in all, I feel they did a great job deploying this patch. There is alot of code in it that these guys work very hard on to make the game better for us, so it is expected that there might be a few issues. That is just the nature of computer programming, no ones computers are the same. Great job Dev team. Keep it up

I have three client installs; The first client I attempted to update went smoothly, The second failed with an access denied error ( ran as admin to fix ) That client then broke and I am unable to log in with that client, The third client I updated ran successfully but is having the same issue as the second.

The second and third installations issue:

Whenever I log in or just after authenticating the log in window goes away in a flash. The log in noise is made and it stays idle on the splash screen.

Has anyone encountered this yet?

I just wanted to say CCP I do get a kick out of reading these issues threads. Every patch it's just full of hilarity and since joining a year ago I have yet to experience an issue free update. I feel that this ragged, rough and seemingly untested feeling is part of what makes the EVE community so much fun. Whether it's Auto-piloting freighters jumping into low-sec or pods with modules ( I <3 U )

Character renders in eve gate sometimes do not show the tattoos. It showed on my minmatar, but not my gallente or amarr.

Strip miners are screwed, turn it off and it keeps going till the cycle is through, and since it has such a long timer, there is nothing you can do but wait till it's finished then start it again. Fix it for tomorrow with 1.4.1?

bugs i've seen in the first 30 minutes of being logged in:
1) saving 'notes' with ampersands (&) adds an extra 'amp;' text to the file when saving the file. Opening and closing the file repeatedly causes an additional 'amp;' to be added to the file each time.
2) bios with ampersands (&) add an extra 'amp;' to the bio each time the character sheet is closed.
3) contracts once again default to 'auction' instead of 'item exchange'
4) selecting an additional item on step 2/4 of an item exchange causes ALL items that were highlighted when first creating the contract to be deselected.
5) all research jobs i created prior to DT disappeared. the bpos did not return to my hangar. I can see the jobs listed in the slots, but the jobs do not appear in the S&I window.

When using the new contract search feature, running an initial search works fine, however, when trying to search for a second time, for completely different items, the search results do not update (searching for blueprints, and then finished ships, for example, does not update the search results to display the ships, only the blueprints remain).

Closing and re-opening the search window clears the existing results, but does not allow you to run another search.

I just did the following searches without re-opening my Contract window (Want to Sell only):
(Search term) (Category)
Vindicator (Ship)
Gila (Ship)
Gila Blueprint (Blueprint)
EMP M (Charge)
EMP (Blueprint Copy)

All updated the search results appropriately.

new contract search is cached server side, old one was immediate and bypassed caching. If you create contract and immediatelly look for it you wont find it :(

Science & Industry panel -> Jobs. For some reason the 'TO DATE' field is now filled in with the current date and this filters out jobs you might want to see.

Getting massive screen artefacts when doing fleet on Incursion's. When doing HQ I get strange lazerish colors across my screen. They seem to have one point of origin in space when looking around. This seem to increase with time. But will disappear when leaving the site. Turning of effects do not work.

This is extremely annoying! No it is not some lazor from Amarrian ship.
This happens on all my tested drivers from ATI (11.x)

The on demand wormhole spawning exploit still works, just spawn 16 :P So much as being marked as fixed in Incursion 1.02....3 freaking bug reports later. The bug hunters need to be removed/replaced.

You have to clear the 'TO DATE' field and then press 'Get Jobs' again. For some reason they filled in that field with today's date and that borks the list.

Fix/workaround for the strip miner and ice harvester,,,

Go into a station and remove the modules, repackage them and then remount them on your barge. They'll work normally until you shut them off again.
