Im seeing a lot of blogs about everyone moaning about macro miners.

why doesnt CCP make it harder for them to get around this and more fun for miners at the same time. this could be easly achived by changeing the way mining is done. My idea would go like this

1. Miner warps to the belt.
2. Miner Sellects the Ore he wish's to mine.
3. For each Rock Selected a new small window opens 2"sq in a Random spot on the screen, by doing this makes it harder for a macro to select it in the same spot all the time, in this box the selected rock apears and a overlay simular to the PI Scanning interface with hot and cold spots apears.
4. Miner selects the Hot spot by pin pointing the area in the 2" Ore selction box.

selecting the hot spot mining is done at normal speed per cycle.
selecting a cold spot reduces the mineing time, or this could be changed to Ore Qty's.

5. Miner Starts to mine until roid is gone.

by making the ore which is selected apear in random areas with a chance to mine random amounts/times this would make Macro mining much harder.

Just an idea Idea

well its slightly more intresting than going to a belt selcting a rock then going off and writeing a short story until u need to select a new rock

its a simple

lock
selcet hot spot
mine
would take 3 secs per roid to do im not saying you should scan the roid for the hot spots they would all ready show in the box that opens when selected. just makes you have to move around a little bit more is all.

1) mining is boring
2) missions pay way better
3) ccp hasn't changed that for 4-5 years
4) therefore they like it that way or....

Mining is boring as ***t,

but if they get all the macro's sorted out mining might be profitable/fun once more! what the going rate on ore atm per hour 20 mil ish for kernite?

when your looking at more than them for hammering out a coupl eof lvl4's in the same amount of time.

ccp need to stop looking at ways to catch macro's and

look at eliminating there use full stop

If CCP really really wanted to make the game better they could tap into all this
pro bono publico game design work and run a contest every week...
1) best new mining meme
2) best improvement, easily implemented PvP idea
3) general game design

economics of eve is up on to...but I think of this instead

Every week I see about two or three thousands (USD) worth of
good ideas on here (forums) and it is all very altrustic, but contests are the 2nd cheapest way to get very good ideas.

brother can you spare a plex card for a good idea?
