Originally by: 1.4 Patch Notes All NPCs that use jamming have been streamlined in functionality and you can now fit your ship to counteract them.
What does this mean for the Marauder class battleships? Their sensor strengths were pre-nerfed to the level of a cruiser. One of the justifications was that when up against NPCs it wouldn't matter. Now it does! Before flamming, I'm not a Marauder pilot, I just would like to see the T2 Battleships (Co-ops included) more like they were T2! Term. |

I love how ccp waits until after fanfest hype to push the nullsec nerf in.
"This is your game" my ass. lol
They're really screwing over younger players, and smaller alliances. Not everyone can scam or enjoys doing it. As for the botters... they will just continue botting.
I really hope this is an april fools joke because what will end up happening is that ppl will end up leaving their smaller alliances for the bigger ones so they can afford to live in null. You will see a lot of mergers as a result of this. or they'll say **** it and move back up into empire, or simply win eve.
I think in all seriousness though, since they haven't given us a plan for null sec, (nor do they ever seem to have a plan lol) they want to reduce the amount of isk in the game that seems to be causing inflation, and to get a piece of the RMT pie.
Thats just my opinion though.

Yes, but the problem is this: they don't tell us what they have changed on a couple of occasions. For one, the change to NPC jamming: what has actually changed? It already works the way they say they've changed it to work… so what the difference before and after the patch? For another, the restrictions on key binds mentioned above: what has changed? What keys can we no longer bind? What is the "default schema" they refer to? (And that's not even touching the really interesting question of why on earth they're removing functionality for no adequately explained reason). Originally by: Terminal Entry

It already matters because NPC jamming already works that way and you can already fit ECCM to counteract it. No answer has been given by CCP as to what has actually changed here. If I were to (maliciously) guess, nothing has changed — they're just finally officially acknowledging a mechanic that has been in the game for several years. So to answer your question: unless CCP has actually changed something, this announcement means nothing for Marauders, or indeed for any other common NPC-killing ship. |

Quote: The Sovereignty dashboard was found to be only updating current system information intermittently. The dashboard now updates immediately when pilots move between systems.
What about the bug where, when you try to view the sovereignty info of a system other than the one you're currently in, it shows you the sovereignty info of the system you are currently in and you have to try again in order to get the correct info to load? Quote: In-game keyboard shortcuts are now inactive in the Character Creator.
I hope the in-game screenshot keyboard shortcut is not being made inactive. If it is, I hope the very next patch reactivates it. |

This is honestly How I feel CCP looks and speaks towards their clients. The real question is.. after all the feed back and complaints. why is there really no reply other than we are still going ahead with this. EVE is a great game that has been slowly dragged down the toilet by total incompetent idea's and patchs. This is going to hurt the small alliances that have moved in 0.0. the larger alliance have the space already and isk to control there space. |

I wonder whether the REMOTE MANUFACTURING bug will be finally fixed. It was not fixed in the last patch. There is a way around the bug but for people who manufacture a lot its a click marathon. When will it be fixed? I didn't see that it will be fixed in the patch notes.... |

I'd be mollified about the truesec changes if the lowest bracket had a single profitable site (a Haven) instead of zero. I understand that new alliances need space to gain a foothold, but even after billions in upgrades their members will find missions more rewarding.
It's a good idea to rebalance the income from nullsec carebearing, but the 0.0 to -0.25 bracket simply has no use in my eye for supporting large or small alliances in 0.0. |

I suck at making isk, therefore I am now cancelling this one of my three accounts because of the anomaly changes. Thanks CCP, I hope it was worth it.
This change has exactly opposite effect from what they claim are the reasons. Im not going to even mention the good part of the patch because I am too angry. |

I must say who ever pushed this through at CCP is going to have a some very intersting meetings coming up. after a sharp drop in subs.
"how was a 5%-15% drop in subscriptions good for the game" reply "We have a better game for it" "more people are cancelling everyday" reply "people will soon start fighting for better space i promise, and come back"
I feel sorry for the ppl at CCP who are trying to make a better game, not for the ppl trying to make a name for themselves.
note to CCP ppl dont take well to being treated like chit and ask them to pay for it.

This is the War on Lag guys! Don't worry, if they can't fix it, they will make sure no one can afford to be there!
2 months from now there will not be any 1200 people fighting in one system!!! because they will all run missions in empire or playing other games.

All I see on TV is WOW adverts, and it has no auto pilot, not sure I liked collecting spider legs either. CCP should at least get some fly posting done around the city centres. |

In the Name of my Alliance !
I strongly protest against the devaluation of 0.0 space with truesec around -0.0 and -0.5 ! Whole regions are rendered nearly useless. Of our constellation we currently use only two out of eight systems remain at the original level the rest becomes utter crap ! A whole constellation utterly and totally ****ed up !
We are a small alliance and the chance to upgrade a system on our own was our chance to give value to systems on our own.
But now all we fought for ist becoming crap. Far away from empire, really hard to supply and then becoming **** you cannot upgrade anymore !
Looking at Tenerifis with the exception of a few systems the whole region becomes utter crap !
Who are the loosers there: all the small alliances like us ! Who are the winners there: the big alliances !
Fair sanctums and havens to the ones who economically farm their systems was the best thing you did ! now you kill it by pure ignorance and stupidity !
CCP you really should leave the system as it is ! It works ! So please just leave it alone and do focus on stuff which does not work !
My guys and me we are really mad about this ! So please put your brains on and do not fiddle with a working upgrade system ! Any change only would ****up the small entities in this game again.
In strong protest !

It would be nice to know what you are talking about. I suspect that it's the anomalies in 0.0. The quality of roids and rats are already based on the truesec through out Eve, why not anomalies? BTW I like the 5-15% figure, where did you pull that from? |

An awful lot of nullsec dwellers like to think of themselves as the majority (or at least the only ones who are Important). The facts show that the opposite is true, certainly from a CCP economic perspective. As of the Q3 edition of the economic report, there were 600,000 (87%) characters located in Empire, and only 77,000 (10.7%) in nullsec. So, thinking that up to 15% of accounts are going to be cancelled over this is just a technicolor dream. So, 0.0 carebears, what can you do to improve your voting power? How about trying really hard to bring more people into nullsec and improve your influence with CCP? How about establishing proper industry wings and spending assets to protect and encourage them while they make you ISK and discounted ships? How about trying your hand at some of the other aspects of Eve than just blowing stuff up and then ratting to replace the stuff you had blown up? Eve is a rich and complex environment and there are a whole lot more ways to make ISK in 0.0 space than just running anomalies! Oh, and thanks CCP for fixing a bunch of the annoying "paper cuts" in this upcoming patch! |
