I'm gonna try lure my GF into EVE Online with Incarna, I'd love her to play Internet Space Ships with me, but I'm not sure how well she would do with PVP. I think there are aspects of EVE She would be good at however. She don't mind me playing EVE, and I talk to her about it. She's not a huge gamer, but she seems to really enjoy playing Civ 4 with me over hotseat.

I met my wife through gaming though it was star wars and SWG pre NGE. She's alot more into avatar games like wow and likes FPS's alot but we do play eve together even if she is way more passive than me.
Can't say it has any effect on the quality of our relationship as we are both gamers and it is just another thing we share, we integrate it into our lifestyles with plenty of other things (mainly anime for her!) but it isn't much dif from couples who share going out or travellibf etc etc.

My then Girl friend and I play EVE together, have done since 2004. We got engaged at the 2005 Fanfest, and she even followed me to Iceland for 2 years while I worked for CCP.

Been married 3 years now and still both playing together. Mining, Missioning, PI, Manufacuring, Research and Invention ... I do some PVP, but she is not interested in that, though what she does to other peoples 0.0 markets verges on even more destructive than most fleet fights.
