Actually I don't doubt the technology will come soon, thing is that the UI will probably be crappier :D

There's really nothing in there that isn't possible based on technology we already have. It's just more refined.

The thing is, it may be possible to make some of the stuff like that, but to make it affordable to an average consumer will probably not be possible within the next 50 years or so. You're looking at only the super rich being able to afford anything close to that stuff within our lifetimes.

So, aside from all the glass-tech, that's what a "normal" day is supposed to be like for "normal" people? ... ugh, do not want, whether it features glass-based hi-tech stuff I have no use for or not.

If I ever get the money, I'm hiring this guy to do my office in wherever I end up buying a house.

Pretty much everything is this video is integration of current technologies into others. While it looks cool, most of the time doing all these things can just be done with other technological tools (phone, computer). The more you rely on technology, the more it controls your life. Don't know about anyone else but that video creeped me out. Just looked way too unrealistic and everything was perfectly sterile. The technology is cool nonetheless.

People who live in glass houses..

And we all know that bathroom mirror screen isn't going to stay sparkly clean forever.

I'd love to have that technology at everyone's fingertips. It's perfect, sterile, organized, and devoid of any stain of the human being. Granted, the people's lives they showed seemed quite dull and unimaginative, but just think of all the other applications it could be used for.

Tradition for the sake of tradition is simply closed-mindedness and an unwillingness to embrace change. Much like the dinosaurs, all who cling to petty tradition and status quo should go out the same way.

Agree with you 100% but at the same time, have to be wary of what new technology brings and how it changes our lives. People thought the internet would have the sole purpose of sharing information through research and look at it where it has gone lol. Not being cynical because I think it would be pimp to have personalized stores and cars.

I would argue that we are already cyborgs. We use technology for much of our lives. It aids us in how our body views the world (watch alters how we view time, prosthetics, glasses). This step is just another logical one in becoming more integrated into technology or is it technology integrated into us. Wink
