I dunno about gamebreaking, but it's getting to the point where it's mind-breaking, or even chair-breaking. Maybe family-breaking if said family unit is stressed enough and all members of it play EVE. A long shot, but possible.

"Reason(s) for divorce: Husband failed to acknowledge frustration caused by non-default 'Sort by Type' hangars that spouse experienced, which resulted in a large domestic disturbance involving children being used as projectile weapons."

Please, save the children. Tie the programmers to their chairs until you can safely deploy the client patch.

This is already fixed, but requires a client patch. This does not prevent anyone from playing the game and as such will not get it's own client patch.

So you mean to say even though your paying customers wish this to be fixed and resolved ASAP you are unwilling to set up a small client patch?

I'm being picky here, but this bug is hindering my enjoyment of the game ;) (TOS - Article 15) you have a resolution to the bug, have fixed it server side, but are unwilling to issue the fix to the players.

I'm not having a dig, but thats not really listening to your customers...

/me puts on flame proof suit.

We don't release client patches because they are always very risky and require extended testing before being deployable. That's why this is not sufficiently gamebreaking to justify that deployment risk.

Listening and doing what the customers says is two different things. If for example I did what some customers said on the forum today, we'd have pink ships called Kwai's with Nerfbats of Doom, Whaambulance ships, no map, no local, no death penalty, lots of death penalty, the map back, instas out - all within a week - in only 4 client patches, free of charge to the subscriber with 100 new bugs as added value.

Don't sound like fun to me.

Sounds a lot like the last few patches though. Twisted Evil

So, anyone know when we may be getting a new patch then?

I just thought of another spiceup enhancement, that would be easier to maintain:

*NERF OF THE DAY*

every day something is nerfed for 24 hrs, no one know what, until after the 24hrs.

Might be caprelays, t2 pulse lasers, mining lasers etc.
