FFS CCP fix the Ghost Ore issue!

>>> When you mine into a can it sometimes creates ghost ore. It's displayed and shows on the Volume counter but cannot be stacked or moved. It's not really there.

Very anoying and frankly sloppy programming...Evil or Very Mad

For me I have noticed the ore that is Ghosted is always the ore that comes from drones. This is annoying.

Hmm. hadn't noticed that..

have to do some testing to see how easy it is to replicate with this info as I have never been able to get any ghost ore while I had logserver running.

i have had this issue for some time with my orca, i know how it happens and how to avoid it.

Ghost ore occupys space but doesn't exist... annoying but after investigating i figured it out

Ghost ore is produced by dragging ore/ice from your cargo hold or any type of cargo hold that is not a station, and dropping ontop of other ore/ice of the exact same type, most players do this so the ore/ice will autostack, and what happens is that your ore stacks automaticlly but in the process a seperate stack of it is produced and lands in the can/cargo hold as well and can only be moved around inside that cargo and can not be stacked or removed because u receive the message "does not exist" which is an error message and prevents your client or the game from crashing. Only method of removal is to log out and back in.

solution for the time being?

Drag your ore into a small gap to the side or corner of your can/cargo and right click stack all
