To many carebears hide safely in deep 0.0, relying on local to protect them.

There are countless programs, which can alert you to a change in local, and it is very simple to make a script to detect a red entering.

The number of bots and afk farmers are out of control.

Let the purging begin.

Well if some pilot has the balls and solo roaming through null or lowsec, he is no longer carebear. Carebear= pilot who dont want to leave hisec at all.

Bots in 0.0 use a script which detects a color red appearing in certain monitor coordinates in local window.
Once the red, or lack of blue appears, they warp off to station and dock.
The script is simplistic.... and it allows alliances, pretty much any of the main large ones, to have ratting systems with bots running 24/7....

Remove local from 0.0, it makes sense with the game.
Concord monitors space traffic, there is no Concord presence in 0.0.

Remove local, nerf D-scan and make people actually have to and look for their targets. Make space big again. Right now it is simply impossible to hide and still do anything.

Getting rid of local would be like letting a dozen or so giant pythons into the maternity ward of a hospital.

And..? So what is the problem?

Oh right, the BOT programs will not work with no local, nor all the Bacon type jewbear programs.

Get rid of local and make people in 0.0 rely on D-Scanner instead. Also makes it harder for the pvp'ers to find people who maybe in the system. Makes everyone work for that kill.

Nerf local to kill bots

Gotta fix the Eve client first. The hacked clients available will show the presence of players etc. even with no local. Nerfing local as things currently are simply gives the bots local and no-one else.
