Some players left blob warfare iot have fun in small scale PVP.
It seems that CCP redifines small scale PVP since our 15 man gang crashed CL-8v in Scalding Pass.

Things should be improving very soon. Our technicians are doing their voodoo on the nodes to help improve this. There is a big fleet fight going on now that is causing these issues.

Until we get automatic load balancing (the devs are working on it, but it is complicated), it always can happen that the solar system you are currently in is on the same node with a system where a big battle rages.

A low local count doesn't matter at all.

It is all a question which other systems share the resources of the system you are in.

No, not really.

Because you have no way to know which other systems are on the same node as your system. It can be systems 50 jumps away or it can be systems 5 jumps away. Totally unpredictable for the player (at least since they remap the systems during downtime quite often).

Since you cannot know it, you don't need to worry about it.

You just can be lucky ... or unlucky.

1k pilots in system it's no longer a "big fleet", but rather a common 0.0 fight. :)
