Was wondering if it was possible to add a field to the settings page on the IGB, to send another header along with the default headers, set via the client.

For example, i set it to mysecretpass, and in php, for example, we get $_REQUEST['user_code'] = 'mysecretpass';

This would allow me to simply check for this 'password' and give users access to my set depending on the variable. I know that this like the other headers can be faked, but it would require that they know your password, which in effect would make them just as secure as your POS or JB.

This would mean that you could have a more secure method then currently available on the IGB.

Both would accomplish what you described in the OP though, and make more sense too (IGB headers are not site specific).
