Made a new portrait yesterday after the patch, 3 hours later my friends still saw the old one, I tried to clear the cache but all it did was to restore my old portrait and apparently erase the one I just created. I don't even have the option to make a new one anymore, made a petition about it.

Edit : apparently my forum avatar is the new portrait, it's driving me crazy ^^.
Edit 2 : Got it, don't know if you fixed it or if it took more time than expected to refresh but thanks anyway :)
The portraits are cached on our Content Delivery Network and it takes a bit of time for them to refresh everywhere.

New Issues:

- Dropping items into containers defaults them to locked instead of per container config.

Issues still present from Incursion 1.0:

- Drone window still redraws and forgets what groups were maximized when launching all drones in the bay.

- Ctrl-click on overview still fails to target items until ctrl key is released and re-pressed if ctrl-clicking when EVE window is not the windows focus. (alt-tabbed into a browser for instance)

Issue randomly cropping up:

- Client seems to forget that I had the scan window open and closes it now every time I undock. Cleared this up once with a clear-cache but it has resurfaced. Not sure how to reproduce the cause yet.

I was happy to see the new feature allowing remote deletion of jump clones. So, I tried to destroy one (stored in a rorqual clone vat bay of a character I am no longer in alliance with) and it didn't work. There was no error message, the jump clone simply wasn't destroyed.

I seem to be having issues with ship pictures not displaying in ships hanger or when targeting, im getting some pictures show fine and some just give me a black screen with a white exclamation point. Makes it difficult to follow targets and to pick ships in hanger quickly.

im using windows 7. i downloaded new patch yesterday morning..now its tell me this (Could not connect to the specified address. Odds are that you have not established an internet connection, the server isn't running, or the server address or port number was wrong.)what do i need to do to get it running...im paying to play this game but yet i can not play it?? my girlfriend can get on her. so my internet is connected.

I experienced an issue after I jumped from an implanted clone into an un-implanted one last night - I wasn't able to view anything in my character sheet anymore - all the divisions where there, skills, certs, attributes, etc - but no actual content. Confused

As a result I couldn't restart my skill training (and only remembered just now that it's still paused - D'OH!). The content pane basically held onto the old screen and when I closed and reopened the character sheet the content pane was completely blank.

Everything else seemed to be working fine.

After the patch got into a fight where a fleet mate was using F.O.F. missiles. The missiles targeted everyone including friendly drones (corp-mates and in-fleet-mates), corp mates (in and out of fleet), as well as in-fleet ships too.

Have been using F.O.F. missiles for some time without friendly ships getting hit. Luckily no losses (except for a few drones).

F.O.F. should NOT target corp or fleet members or friendly drones.

Have to say that the new contracts search is a vast improvement over the other. Each addition is adding very useful features and the latest iteration with the most recent patch has some really nice options for finding contracts of a particular type, within a particular region, etc.

Just one thing. Since you have removed the sort options from the side menu it seems that the sorting has reverted back to the way that the old search would sort things. I often sort contracts by price when I'm browsing for blueprints, either to see if any BPO's are going cheap or see what the current going rate for BPC's may be.

Until today when I told the search to sort by price it sorted them correctly in that the most/least expensive would be on the first page of results and each page would show prices reducing/increasing until the last page showed the highest/lowest priced items in the results list. Today I make a search and this has returned to the way the old search handled results, with each page only being sorted by price, not the full results set returned in the search. So I once again find myself going page by page seeing results which should have appeared in the first page or two appearing at the top of each page of results. If I sort by price descending I expect the most expensive items in the search to be shown on the very first page with the prices decreasing as I move to subsequent pages, not each page having it's own sorting of the results to show the most expensive at the top and least at the bottom.

Would it be possible to change it back to pre patch sorting, it worked great then. Apart from that little point the new contracts search is spot on. Oh, and please hurry up with the new forums, these old ones are really getting annoying when they log me out at random and refuse to let me log back in for 20 minutes.

The neutral pilot overview background and icon STILL HAS NOT BE FIXED. It seemed to be working on the test server, why not now?

My update didn't went through because of a broken archive (or something similar, don't remember exactly). It offered the repair option, but it gave the "c:\build\chaos" error. Tried to reinstall from an older downloaded installer "EVE_Premium_Setup_214371_m.exe" to update it again, but during extraction gave an "archive corrupted" error. After that I downloaded the newest version "EVE_Premium_Setup_229669_m.exe" (at least it was the newest ~36hrs ago). It gave the same exact "archive corrupted" error. After that I tried the "online installer" through the "EVE_Premium_Setup_229669.exe" file. The download went through and it was in the file validation step when I left the pc. When I returned there was another error message with installer stopped and needs to run the repair. The repair started up, started working and at a point it gave the "archive corrupted" error again.
Using an updated 32bit WinXP.
Now I'm without a client and can't install any version to try and update manually.

Newest problems to add to my still unaddressed list of bugs ("issues"):

-ASSETS window is stuck with a minimum width. Terrible change not mentioned in patch notes.
-Windows are definitely not remembering their opening sizes - much against what patch notes did state would be "fixed".
-Distance to warp collapse actually started counting up while reaching destination. (Occured in Jakanerva this evening.)
-Cargo capacity maximums are listed as 0.0m3 in other ship cargoholds if open and you are not in that specific ship. (Makes moving items between various ship cargoholds difficult if not impossible.)
-Planetary Interaction usually has a single resource being constantly scanned (the circle arrow icon just goes and goes....)
-Text composer UI for Corporation Info is unable to AUTOLINK, because it thinks your selection is 10 characters to the right of your selection.
-Shift-dragging items into trade windows is not allowing "splitting".
-Ironicly, sometimes "stack all" isn't stacking all (yes, even after checking to make sure all items were unlocked).
-Cargo calculations in boarded ships are returning occasional wrong warning numbers that defy actual free space available.
-Skills training during the upgrade fix Thursday (UTC) seems to have ADDED more time (more than just 3 hours during the upgrade duration) spending extra, unnecessary training time.

Still unfixed/unaddressed problems:

-TRADE window remains in background constantly - similar to P.I. windows that get overlapped by other windows.
-Warping to Customs Offices will place you in the middle of the office, then "bounce" you out and away. Happens 90% of all times.
-Most planets in planetary view mode are terribly sliced up (graphical errors). Obvious 3D rendering error in the program code for texture wrapping/mapping. (Most noticable are Plasma planets with obscure segmentation in surface color by straight intersecting lines ... Gas planets [usually beige ones] have a pure black pixelation between the top/bottom "thirds" of the sphere and the middle "third".)
-Charon is warping at 0.70 AU when it should be 0.75 AU... still. (last 2 decimal digits never change during flight)
-Mail composer still messes up mostly if using the DELETE key instead of BACKSPACE in the middle of letter.
-Major screen flicker (epileptic-like full screen white flashes/"blankings") occur for some accasional systems' stars, unless view angle is adjusted. Certain systems always have it, example: Abagawa in The Forge.
-While IN GAME, all OTHER people's small portraits in chat windows appear smooth (anti-aliased), but my own is terribly bitmapped...still.
-Planetary amounts are still off at times, mathematically. Routing sometimes simply isn't working "smartly".
-When typing in one place (a chat window or composing a mail), sometimes my typing will suddenly continue in a different chat window.

Lastly (for now):

-MAILING LIST ISSUE (BUG): I have a mailing list for a higher security level group in my corporation. When I go to send a mail to that group, it first pointlessly brings up a warning/info box stating: "You are a member of a mailing list with the name Bloodstone Lead Staff. Do you wish to send a mail to the mailing list?" Gee, I think the right-clicking and selecting "Send Mail To Mailing List" answered that question. But fine: I click "yes" to confirm. THEN THE BUG BEGINS: If you start typing, and click off to take care of something and return to it, it will ask you that question again.... and again... IF YOU ARE LUCKY, you will be able to post it. If not, it says this:
"There is no recipient for this message, please add some by typing their name or by dragging one or more from your addressbook or any userlist."
NO RECIPIENT FOR THIS MESSAGE? It clearly has the correct recipient [ML] in the "To:" section. Only way to get a mail through is to never click off the composer.

That's it so far on the major issues, I hope.

I'm not positive whether or not this appeared in this patch or if it's been a constant issue or whether it's something that's always been in the game, but I'm noticing a "clipping" or "shuttering" that I have not noticed before. When I view the FPS Monitor, there is a "heartbeat" like effect. View the graphic below. This sudden drop happens in exactly the same pattern every "cycle" meaning about every 1.5 seconds. When I move the world around or just am viewing the graphics every time the FPS dips I notice a lag, this is EXTREMELY annoying. If someone could look into this, I would very much appreciate it.

For some reason I am unable to post the FPS monitor, it is not captured in the screenshot. Here's the data I got. The reduced processing of frames seems to be here as well, but this looks very greek to me .... (As you can see I do not run my client in any high resolution either, so that cannot be the problem.)

Testing in Windowed mode shows no difference. There is still a troth in the FPS and then it crests back to the "normal" FPS (around 160+ or so).

this is about the new character creation. i set 2 of my alt characters up but not my main except the first time. now its changed i can't update the alts i have but can still do my main as it wasn't done sense first time you needed to redo them. i was wondering if i am stuck with the pictures even though you did say it changed again, but i seen in patch notes that you could go without a shirt if you had a coat so want to change my alts,but it didn't say anything about having a chance for a new character picture? i read 2 other forum questions about this but no answer yet.
this is a late question but haven't been on sense last nigh and before patch.
didn't have any problems though with anything else but i am still in delivery mode and haven't done more missions or wh combat yet.
just wanting to redo my characters if that's still a option now you changed it again, in fact i liked the fact you changed that option often as its good to be able to redo characters pictures and wish you could make it so we could at a whim as the names don't change it's not like a new person just a new look. (like women like to do all the time HEHE)
glad for the new patch and everyone knows enough to expect problems when you do new stuff its the only way to fix them right.....

This is a new issue for me:

I have 1400mm T2 turrets with auto-cycle firing, stacked with 2 turrets per stack. Normally the white line on the outside of the icon runs around the outside to indicate when the cycle is done.

However, now, when I see an NPC ship blow up during a mission, I look at the turret icons and some of them will have solid white lines around them. The cycle is not done. I wait a few seconds, the solid white line disappears, and the turret is then available to shoot the next target. Meanwhile, I have no visual feedback on how long it will be until I can fire again.

It's amazing how "accustomed" we get to irritating things like that, but to confirm: I TOO EXPERIENCE this. (Most noticable while in a long warp.) In fact I have experienced this phenomena since last year before Incursions. I almost want to say it was "sporadic" through Dominion, and quite possibly something that started before that upgrade.

It looks like wormholes in the EOL state now possibly no longer collapse naturally when a ship remains on-grid. This issue has happened to me, a colleague, and the colleague reports other capsuleers reporting it in a game channel.

In my case, I was monitoring the EOL wormhole with probes out, and the new static spawned, reported by my probes and confirmed by warping there, whilst the wobbly wormhole persisted.

Then make a petition and file a bug report. If enough people do this, hopefully CCP will actually look into this matter instead of just ignoring it and closing legit bug reports with "unable to reproduce" when I can reproduce it consistently myself.

If someone would like a new thread started about this, please let me know. The good news ... After some research and graphics adjustment I have found a "workaround" for this. I'm delighted!

Two points need to be made here:

1. A feature called Vertical Sync (a.k.a. Vsync) all but completely eliminated this problem for me. Vertical Sync is a graphics card feature that waits until each frame in a Direct3D application is synchronized with your monitors refresh rate. I know I'm not stating it exactly right, but that's not the point here.

2. Vsync will cost you about 50% of your FPS. Which would you rather have 150 choppy frames or 75 smooth ones? I opted for the 75 smooth and let me tell you, it's worth it every day of the week. Looking again at my FPS monitor, I see every so often an great while a small blip of lower FPS, but the drop is extremely quick. I do not have the means (nor the time) to try to extract the FPS Monitor screenshot.

Therefore, if you are having this issue, or if you did not even notice you where having this problem, have a look.

Another important point. Those of you who like to tweak your graphics cards (basically all of you), should know that Nvidia and ATI have a feature called "Max Frames Rendered" (Nvidia) and "Flip Queu Size" (ATI). These parameters are one and the same. This variable allows a Direct3D application to "pre" render frames. Let's just say it's not good for the type of game we're playing here. When you pre-render, you're basically putting yourself behind the 8-ball. Every extra frame you pre-render will set you back from real-time. So, setting this to a lower value will allow your inputs to be transmitted faster.

If this does not jive right with someone, let me know, but I'm pretty sure I'm on the ball here.

To make a long story short, action I take using the keyboard and mouse are responding faster and the visual lag is gone, now if I could only convince CCP to fix the rest of the game!! (kidding, ofc :)

The contacts label system is broken. When I label my contacts or move contacts into the label folders some will lose randomly their labels a few hours later. I guess this is a server side database issue. I had filed a bug report last week.

New Contracts search:

Some search criteria appear to be OR instead of AND logic.
For example, when I search for "Hobgoblin II Blueprint" and select Blueprint Original as Type, I (also) get multiple item contracts containing Hobgoblin II bpc plus any kind of blueprint originals.

Character Creator still doesn't work for me on either of my computers, both of which are completely up-to-date (drivers, DirectX, etc), the "workaround" does not work for me, one computer meets minimum sys reqs, the other far exceeds them, and I'm getting tired of waiting for this issue to be addressed.

CCP: Is this issue going to be addressed? Seriously. You guys have been quiet about this. Either say "Yes, we plan on having it fixed soon" or "No, we don't think it's a consequential issue".
