Crysis 2 multiplayer demo is too clunky. Everything is so shiny it is hard to spot player movement.

On your planet maybe, but on planet earth anyone using a PC would say Bulls**t. I wouldn't play it if you gave it to me.

IWNet anyone?

Edit: I have to add that I loved FarCry, but hated the so called follow up FarCry 2 OMFG that was a bad game.
I am looking forward to Crysis 2 and thought the first game was very enjoyable gaming experience.

I have a REALLY hard time accurately aiming compared to BFBC2 and MW:2/BLOPS. I'm not sure if it's extra mouse smoothing I can't get rid of or if it's the way recoil works. I spent like an hour fiddling with mouse sensitivity too. One little bug with the mouse sensitivity, at least on my machine, what you set before a match and what you actually end up with during the match are completely different. I'll set it to like 20 or so before joining a match, then when I'm in the match it'll be showing like 54 or some ****. Once you adjust it during a match it sticks though.

I wasn't going to buy Crysis 2 b/c I hate EA's DRM model, but I'm really looking forward to the single player campaign.

I liked MW:2 match making, I hate dedicated servers because you get a bunch of 12 yr olds (more like 45 yr olds) booting good players because they suck and get pwnt repeatedly. Happens in BLOPS a lot :(

On well administrated servers, you don't get that issue. Cheaters and hackers don't last long on good servers either, unlike the wonderful IWNet system.
Match making, much like IWNet, is utter fail. As can be seen from the absolutely appalling user rating that game received on the PC.

We still run a MW server and it's very busy, I don't know anyone that plays MW2. That alone speaks volumes to me.

Nah, MW:2 is still as busy as it was before Black Ops came out for the most part. I haven't had to wait more than a minute or two to find a match when I do actually play it. Hacking wasn't really that much of an issue, I may run across an aimbot every once in a while but it's not as rampant as people make it out to be. Part of that is VAC catching up with bans. Granted they just go get another cheat, but same thing happens with dedicated servers. If someone's hacking I usually just leave and get a different match.

I have to say though, I wish they would have made it so you didn't get dumped right back into a match you just left because it was the best possible match.

Well it obviously suits your gaming style, so that's good.
But you hit the nail on the head for me, it removes choice.

Anyway I swore at the time I'd never buy one of their games again and I haven't.
I was even given Black Op's, but it's still in it's wrapper because I refuse to install it. Laughing

That reminds me, I must sell it before the prices drop to much. Cool

Yeah BLOPS is a pile of ****. It's a shame, mechanically it would have been pretty decent...performance issues on both the client and server end really killed it though. There are some that don't have problems, but it had such a horrible launch and was so buggy that they really killed it early. Lot of people just went back to MW:2 or something else entirely. Most of the people I used to hang with have not bothered with BLOPS past the first month. I still play BLOPS when I can deal with the issues, but I don't play much at all now, maybe once a month.
