Why are they Non-Public? Are they still in testing? Are they to make the GMs and Developers feel more powerful? What are they for? Also, according to EVEMon,Jove Cruiser requires Caldari Frigate IV, not Jove Frigate IV like it is supposed to.

Off-Topic-But-Still-Related: Nerfing the GM Ultra Mega Super Death Ray:
It is a GM Weapon, yes, but it is still over-powered in some respects. Suggestions:
Make it require more skills to use, change it's name slightly (to Ray Cannon, or something like that), reduce it's range and rate-of-fire, reduce it's accuracy, reduce te amount of damage it does, make it require more POwergrid and CPU, as well as more Capacitor, and set it to do specific types os damage, that way you can more properly resist it. We don't want GMs to start abusing their Epic PvP Powers.

Because CCP made it that way. You can't get the ships that use those skills anyway so there's no point in asking for them.

IIRC Jove ships are supposed to require Polaris 1, Which requires Polaris 5 to train...

Since when does Polaris require a higher level of itself? And I checked EVEMon:

- Jove Frigate Requres Spaceship Command V
- Jove Cruiser requires (Caldari?) Frigate IV
- Jove Industrial requires Jove Frigate IV
- Jove Battleship requires Jove Cruiser (I forgot which level)

Ther3e are also a bunch of other useful skills.

Because they give access to ships that were never implemented in the game, or are horrendously overpowered. Look at the adrestia/whatever the hell that frig is called. They seeded them on sisi and suddenly everyone and their dog was flying them (one of the reasons I stopped playing around in fd-). If they were to give access to, for example, jove ships to everyone, suddenly you'd see them all over the testing combat areas, and regular ships wouldn't stand a chance.

EDIT: as far as the gm laser being OP:
You do know that a GM can just heal 0 you and make your ship asplode without firing a single shot yeh?

So there are actually Jove ships in the game but no way for players to get them?

if you ever saw one in action you would know why :P
once upon a time a dev came in a jove ship, got jumped by tons off players-+
destroyed whoever he wanted and left with 99% shield still intact and no dmg to anything else xD

basicly they got lik 99% resist to all dmg, and a instant kill weaponry system :P +-

Jove ships aren't that potent (other than the fact that the Eidolon has an 8/8/8 slot layout...) Stats are available via IGB on ships of eve

Polaris ships on the other hand, are: 6k shields, 3sec recharge, 99.9% resistsVery Happy
