This ship is pretty much downgraded to shield transfer only, without having the capacitor to fill that role properly.

To address the "what is/isn't included?" concerns: The changes involve shutting down any assistance effect, not just remote reps. This include cap transfer and so on. It also includes drones that use these effects - your logistics drones will have their effects shut off in the same way as your own ship.

So, don't worry. Your scimitar (and her drones) will still be fully effective.


Good to read this clarification, do you also have a specific comment on combat drones that are assigned to assist an offending player?

any chance in fixing the lowest dps marauder? isn't it a shame that such a beautiful ship is doing so low dps? i'm talking about all missions. what use is that it can do nice dps against angel when against all other pirate factions it's a struggle?

how about changes to kicking/removing corps from alliance making it a vote system needing 51% to pass form all votes this should stop what has happened to not only bob, cva and now -r-. once the 51% is reached the corp is kicked.

Of course they will, but this is not as bad as you make it sound :). Fact is they are running multiple SB already and have no problem locking something quick. They might go for better tracking enhancing by using the freed up slots. End result they do a little more DPS due to increased chances of a wrecking hit.

Overall, if you let yourself be take by one of them, then you are unprepared and would have died in the old situation just the same! No real impact I'd say!

Its really annoying when you leave eve and log back on you have to adjust the order of chat channels again, from left to right its local and then your own channels get mixed up everytime.

Plus it would be nice windows in the UI stay where you last put them. without having to use the sticky button and even that wont always work.

At least loot windows from killed ships open in the same place, most of the times ugh

I'm very happy with all the little fixes. I will be even happier if this turns out to be the start of a habit.

I would like to take a moment to request improvements to the drone UI:
I would like to be able to see the condition of drones that are docked in the drone bay.
I would like to be able to launch groups of drones with hotkeys.
I would like a simpler method of swapping a damaged drone for a spare during combat.

-AFK mode for my portrait in channels. Greys out my face as it is viewed in that chann. Possible to add a timer when people rightclick new option[Show Timer].

-Floating 'Message Of The Day' icon, when you click on the bright little icon it expands to show full message. Then it greys out and shrinks, until updated[Blink On is default, and not changeable].

-Floating Fleet Link in channel it is linked in, floats below MOTD float. Only 3 fleets stored by channel at any time. Communication officers can remove. Disbanded fleets remove their links.
Or Move minimized Fleet Finder to Channel Options.

-Mail notification will now chime repeatedly[every 5 mins] until opening the mail window. Or if sender attaches tag to mail as 'Urgent'.



Combat
-Leaving fleet gives boss to a person with Leadership V, first. Got to use that Charisma-based skillgroup at all times. Also, Fleet might need that bonus, nevermind, Fleets have never needed Leadership bonii..

-Cloaks have no cycle timer...ask my enemies. A few hours is enough to escape a camp, and wait out active players. Currently i can stay cloaked for weeks.

-I CANNOT CHANGE SCRIPTS/AMMO WHILE CLOAKED IN A T2 CLOAK COMBAT SHIP. Really?!! Counter-productive.Evil or Very Mad

-DDs need AOE script. Reduced power/cycle time. Reduce dmg so that Carriers are in low hull, support must finish them off. NO SOLOPWNMOBILES! Must be out your mind.



Industry
-Reprocess window shows no Show Info on the lefthand list.

-Remove show all button in Reprocessing Window. It is redundant.

-'Cargo full' message locks interface[no lock interface windows, EVER!!!!!] looking at you, Manufacturing Quote window.



Trade
-Trade window Notifies via sound notification[inmyEVE!] that other person is waiting for you to accept Trade on your end.

-Corp/Maintenance Hanger has to be reopened each Session change, unlike standard Cargohold window! FIX! See what you can do about containers in hold.

-Highlight my Market Orders, on the Market, only viewable to myself. I do not want to buy my own buy orders again. I do not want to underbid my own orders again[unintentionally]

-Remove faction ships from market.[Contract Beta interface has solved this problem, lets go back to the Wild West Days]

-Contracting Skill also adds ability to extend the length of Contracts beyond 2 weeks. Max, 4 weeks.

-Contracts made for Alliance/Corp-wide will not lower your Private Contract Total.[Storefronts at some point please, I saw them back in QR SiSi...]



UI
-Tactical overlay is very white on white contrast...adjust.

-Channel Options allow Font change.

-In Tactical OVerlay Mode: Display EWAR/ECM Effect from targets, above the ship icon in space, off/on the overview if that option is selected.

-In Tactical Overlay Mode: 1-Clicking on an target shows a line that measures Tranversal.
2-Player can set this measurement to a colour code setting. Red is High, Yellow is Moderate, Green is Good.
This data is already available. Just not presented well on overview. No.2 is not mandatory.

-Adding bookmark to ingame browser makes scary sound...make non-scary sound please.

-Tint the teal colour on MWDs to match the violet colour on Warp Scramblers. Correlates Scramming with MWD ability. Intuitive.[I understand the point of redrawing the symbol, but missing the point of confusion for newer players is frustrating]

-Logging into forum should send you back to the quote or edit page you were directed to.

-Editing a post will no longer redundantly place multiple 'edited' tags to a post. CONSUMING WORDCOUNT.

-Forum needs higher minimum standard. Or 'back to top' link on each end of a page.



Just little things that bother me. And I know these are good, they bother other players, daily.

Speaking of context menus, I've had a number of ideas for ages.

: IN SPACE:
* Identify entries under the "My Places:" heading (bookmarks and bookmark folders) with an icon/color/indentation to visually separate them from constant entries like asteroid and station
* Remove "add waypoint" selection from the context menus of many in-space objects (LCO, npc ships, asteroids)
* Remove "set name" from wreck context menu
* Remove "Broadcast: Jump To" from stargate context menu
* Move "Show Info" selection to top of NPC ship context menu (for consistency)
* Visually identify the "Use Fitting service" selection on the capital ship context menu with an icon/color/indentation to separate it from the standard entries
* Visually identify group of navigation commands like "Approach", "Warp to within", and "Keep at Range" with an icon/color/indentation to separate it from other entries

: DRONE WINDOW :
* Remove the collapse/expand option from the Drones in local space context menu
* Remove the collapse/expand option from the Drones in bay context menu
* Move "abandon drone" to a pop-over menu, and visually identify it with an icon/color/indentation to reinforce its potential hazard.
* Visually identify the "Assist" and "Guard" pop-over menus with an icon/color/indentation

: CHAT WINDOW MEMBER LIST:
* Visually identify the fleet pop-over menu with an icon/color/indentation to separate it from the standard entries
* Move "Give Money" and "Trade" into new group (away from corporation/alliance specific entries like "View Member Details")
* Add "Alliance" entry to Auto-link sub-menu
* Remove "Show Info" from the fleet pop-over menu

: INVENTORY MENUS :
* Add "Add to Places" to context menu of physical bookmarks
* Move "Reprocess" to a pop-over menu, vertically separate it from other common tasks, and visually identify it with an icon/color/indentation to reinforce its potential hazard.

: CHARACTER SHEET :
* Remove "Open Group Window" entry from jump clone context menu
* Move "Destroy" entry from the jump clone context menu to a pop-over menu, and visually identify it with an icon/color/indentation to reinforce its potential hazard.
* Add "View Kill Information" to kill and loss entry (Combat Log) context menus.

: FITTING WINDOW :
* Add "Charge" pop-over submenu for turrets, launchers, script taking modules
* Add "Show Info" entry to "Charge" sub-menu


and I'm sure I can think of more in the future.

The opacity of the overlay rings needs to be reduced, and yes the white lines on white lines could use some cleaning up.

EWAR notifications in the brackets view is a good idea

The targeting UI is distracting enough already. I can understand the thought of changing from the square bracket + vert&horizontal markers to something less complicated, though.

I would like the drone window to display the Shield/Armor/Hull HP for all drones, onboard or in space.

On this note, I would like new chat windows from "Start conversation" to not appear pre-stacked in the same slate as other chat windows. When I run multiple slates with chat windows in each, I always have a hard time noticing when the conversation is actually accepted and the new chat is started.

I agree with changing the way the BPO's and BPC's look....another option would be to add an "O" or "C" to the top left corner of the BP sort of like the T2 has a II. That would make sorting so much easier. Thanks CCP for all you do for the game...LOVE it!! Very Happy

Whyever not?

The rule is that the effect just gets shut off *after* the guy with the guns get GCC flagged.
Until the gunship opens up, it is safe to boost locktime and provide tracking.
And when it does, well the system is now kind and carebearing, it just shorts your modules instead of adding you to the list of concord targets.

TBH it is in effect riskfree to provide this kind of ganking assistance.

So, you can still get boosted locktime and once it is locked who cares if the booster gets shut off, the GCCd gunship is dead concord meat soon.
At least the first volley can be track assisted, unless they have gone way deep into the combat code to delay the hit calculation until the tracking boost has been removed.
Some field testing seems to be required to work out if:
* trackboost all volleys, until such time as the tracking link would have cycled down anyway - the non-shorting, just off-shutting scenario.
* trackboost only first volley. The shorting scenario, with GCC only being applied after initial agression.
* no trackboost - the shorting scenario, with GCC getting injected in front of the fire request.

My guess is the first or second, as the last would involve more messing with the order of things, by catching the fire request and removing any buffs before doing actual hit/damage calculations.
As opposed to one unsanctioned volley landing and then going: aha, I saw you shooting someone without agression rights or a wardec, now I take away your assists and drop concord on you.
