I just created what hopes to be a PvE concentrated Caldari alt. Being still slightly new to the game I'm not sure where I should start to turn her into a PvE hero. Any suggestions?Smile

First you'll have to figure out what route you want.

Route 1 is BS. Shooting for CNR and golem on that one.

Route 2 is tengu/nighthawk.

Lots of threads to show the good and bad side of both. I did gank CNR and tengu...liked tengu much better. This a personal choice you'll make after flying a bit. CNR was capable...jsut not how I like to fly kind of thing.

Either route you want to rush to drake. It earns isk well in level 3 and even 4 (drake pve tank is strong enough for lv 4 with skills). Unless shooting for tengu, consider cruisers a stepping stone. Grind in caracal to get a drake then move on. tengu is the full package tour for cruiser training.

I was thinking Tengu in the long run. Crazy rumors of 300mil/hour makes me near drool. However I don't really know how accurate those are. Caracal sounds nice until my drake. Thanks. :D

Start doing L1 missions with a kestrel.
Switch to a Caracal with assault missile launchers for L2 missions.
L3 missions; Drake.
Focus on T2 modules, train asap to be able to fit full T2 modules, excluding weapons.
Train all relevant support skills to at least L4, switch to Raven.
Start working on drone skills, get t2 drones quick, get T2 Weapons.
Switch to CNR when you are comfy with regular Raven.

Then, either go for a golem or whatever you feel fancy.
