On the portrait screen you can grab the edges of your characters mouth/cheeks and make them smile or frown.

Well at least they listened about moving the dock option back to it's original position on the right click context menus. Hopefully they'll actually stop trying to change the UI where it's not required and make changes where it is.

When will incursion status be available to be seen out of game via API or Eve web site. We need to shame some 0.0 corps into defending there space. I think a spreading of the incursion to adjacent systems would make 0.0 more interesting.

I have a novel concept ... how about they let US sort and reorder our menus. The server doesn't care; it just needs to receive a command. The client doesn't care, because the proper command is attached to the proper item, whether it's first, last, or in the middle.

I was ranting at fail last night after a hard day's work. Im still annoyed, but lets see if I cant be a little friendlier and state my problem in a nicer way. Maybe then the Devs will look into the problem : (PS, sorry if it still sounds a little synical)

I use 3 day cycles

My current cycle is complete, so I want to reset my extractor system. (Base Metals in w-space off Barren planet)
OLD SETUP : Link between control unit & Launchpad, currently Local upgrade (378.93m/hour out of a max of 500 m/hour) transporting 37893 units

NEW SURVEY : Same Link, same control unit, same launchpad, same Hotspot

Base Metals Survey says 10 Heads extract 36873 units per hour avg with a peak first cycle of 121817 units and a last cycle of 21586 units
Hit Install Program ........
Base Metals Survey NOW SAYS 10 Heads extract 34163 Units per hour avg with a peak 4th cycel of 76307 units and a last cycle of 19045 units.
Link as above now says 100% 500m per hour - upgrade link - Link now says 50%
delete link ....... create link, upgrade to peak transport ..... oh wait peak transport was 76307, or was it 126748, which is what the control unit is now telling me under Products/Amount/Type (not routed) - cant upgrade to "only" 1000m/hour, because Im transporting 126748. - Upgrade to next lvl 2000m/hour - Finally, no overload - hit SUBMIT
63.37% of my route is being used to tranport 1267.48m per hour - which surely is 126748 units of Base Metals per hour ..... but WAIT !!!

Oh my word, at least you fixed that part, sometimes ....

Couple other things,:
white pulsating nonsubmitted circles on white hotspots is not a good idea?
please increase the radius of the control units, its a pain in the bum moving the control units, not only in the bum, but also in the wallet, and the time it takes to relink, reroute and recalc everything if you have to move it all when the hotspot moves

Tell me please why can't I wear just the outer without the top? when you have both on you can't realy see the detail of top anyway so what is the point and seriously it is not like you can see it on the profile pic anyway and I'm sure walking around in a ST like that is still a long time away, and btw it would be cool if we can use the extra 3 pic you take after setup for profile pics too or rotate them once a week or month. What would by even more cooler is if you can chose to have your Aliance or Corp badge on the back of the jacket, and you could look in too having aliance/corp CEO setup up a uniform in there colors and the members can then pick if they want too wear Aliance, Corp or there own clothing setups.
PS The Sims show more skin and is a kids game and why is there no short skirts or dresses like there was in the promo video?

It seems that if you uncheck the new filter 'Pilot has no standings', then the pilot MUST be in your contact list to appear on the overview -- including war targets and outlaws (global or personal aggression flags)! This is completely unacceptable. Unchecking the filter 'no standing' should not prevent other inclusive filters from working. This new 'no standing' filter should have the lowest possible priority and pull pilots off the overview _only_ if no other flag matches.

Issue with drone groups when trying to launch them!

pre-launched group shows normal menu: Launching unstacked group of drones
unlaunched group of stacked drones shows a bit different menu: Launching stacked group of drones

Anybody else having this issue?

My super-tiny portrait in the chat window renders weird. It makes me appear that I have a really goofy grin. I understand that these things happen when creating thumbnails, but what I would like to see is my portrait rendered in all applicable pixel dimensions in the pop up box that asks if I want to finalize my portrait. That way I can look at how it is rendered across all portrait sizes and decide if I am satisfied with it.

Thanks for giving us opportunities to re-customize as bugs get fixed. It is much appreciated.

Just noticed that, just before finalizing a character's appearance, the large size portrait from the character screen is now shown in the dialog box instead of the smaller one from before - enabling me to make a much better assessment of whether my portrait's looking just the way I want it or not. Huge improvement, thanks for that CCP! Very Happy

CCP of course has the right to put the content in their game they want to, but when their choices appear to be flatly contradictory to the rest of the games atmosphere, at least they could have the decency to explain themselves...

Actually, in many cases you can't...
At most I've been able to make a character have a slight hint of a smile when dragging all the way to the top.

The smile, as many of the other moulding options seem to have some very strict limits put on them that prevents you from getting the effect you want.
I feel that the limits are way TOO strict as there's actually not that big a range of shapes you can make as it is...

I thought this was nigh impossible myself, until I fiddled around some more and realized that when someone sports a big smile, often they're squinting slightly as well. I've been able to make some rather nice and non-creepy portraits if I also click just below their eyes and drag it up slightly. It won't 'fix' every face, but I've found it can make a big difference. ugh

The Extractors are now AFU! One extractor with up to 10 extractor heads is now like trying to shove 100 pounds of crap through a garden hose! So - either up the capacity of the links, or go back to the old extractors where there was one link per extractor. Now I have to spend an unreasonably amount game time to mess around with planet commodities.

And the character creation? What a joke! I have more than one character on Eve - this character looks like a dork. He's supposed to be an American Indian, but looks more like a European punk with a mohawk. No tattoos, and an indian with a leather vest? He's supposed to be looking at the camera (at least that is how I took his portrait), but instead, he's looking off wondering why the hell am I paying for this crap.

Filing a petition only gets you a number with lip service attached to it.

Let's see, patch 1.1.1 enforced the 'wear a shirt' rule.
Patch 1.1.2 took away the shortie T-shirt so no one would be able to show their navel.

2 points here.
First CCP is paying programmers to enforce a 'moral' look that goes well beyond any realistic sense except in cultures where women are property. This in a steal their stuff, shoot them and pod them game. Ya, Free the twins!

Second point. CCP is paying those programmers at the expense of time that could be spent fixing game issues.

It seems CCP is much more about marketing than about getting it real or right.

Ok, been flying in fleets this afternoon, had my LP pool mounting, had to log to do some stuff. Logged in now, read incursion is over, and 0 payout of the LP inpool.

I have to be online for the whole incursion? What about work? Sleep?
What kind of mechanic is this?
As intended or is this a bug?

Portrait generation:
Ok, character generator saved the previous face as basis to rework it. Ok.

But portrait lost my previous pose/lighting/facial expression. Recreating from scratch is a lot of work.
I was in overall content with my previous portrait. tweaked a little bit the face, but redoing the potrait option wich were fine.. I now simply press no when asked on login.

(PS: where are the old amarr clothes and hair styles? )
