I am an old fart who has wasting my time with MMOs for over 15 years.
Sansha is not akin to raid experience, it is a "reverse" raid experience. Where the huge mob comes to your area:

When Sansha invade player's "home turf", players have few choices:
1. Defend their "turf"
2. Wait it out/Hide
3. Move/Run

CCP made a sandbox, so it is up you(the player) to make a decision.

As an added bonus I propose following Sansha improvement:
If Sansha's invasion is not thwarted within a specific time frame, Sansha fleet should begin attacking player set up infrastructure.

Some eyeliners were not displaying the correct color. This has now been fixed.

Wow thank you so much CCP, now I can finally log in cuz I was covered with shame, having the wrong eyeliner color.

Overview neutral gray state fix?

Sorry I know it's hard, one fix at a time.

I know right, cause we all need to see the right eyeliner color on pics that are not big enough anyway.

and things like neutral overview settings and anchored SMA's being useless - those are just cosmetic issues.

Seriously CCP? You decide that altering the color on a ship is more important than fixing things you broke?

Completely agree here... WTF. Lets go Conan style with character creation and nudity... we're all big boys and girls. lol

Pilots now have two options in the overview filter:
No Standing and Neutral Standing.
When "No Standing" is unchecked, only pilots who are in your contact list will appear in your overview.
When "Neutral Standing" is unchecked, pilots who are in your contacts as "Neutral" will no longer appear in the overview.

I hope this also means we can choose color for tags and background for said neutral/no standing. If so, I'm a happy camper.

Can we also have "Launch drones" button back to the bottom..making it first is not making it easier, especially if you're launching alot!

Also, PLEASE add the "Unload all to cargo" shortcut, for launchers and turrets! Rolling Eyes

p.s. thx for the mackinaw, retriever fix..those were eyestabbing!

The notes don't have any mention of leadership skills (and by extension warfare links) not working correctly, not does it mentioned fixing the exploits in gun, the issue with concord sometimes not responding to crimes in highsec, the remote repair causing concordoken in Incursion sites. It's not like they haven't been on the forums...

Either the patch notes are incomplete (and they are being fixed), the issues have already been addressed stealthily or they aren't being fixed until another patch. For issues such as these, it would be helpful if CCP actually gave confirmation of fixing (or not) of bugs that have wide ranging effects rather than having rumor mills breed like rabbits.

1. Uhhh I'm pretty sure CCP is using the Sansha Incursion as a promotional device to lure in potential new customers hence the giant "INCURSION" logo on the eveonline.com home page and the extensions they provided for trial accounts to let them "experience" the sansha incursion (a.k.a. watch their kestrels and thrashers get face melted in a blink of an eye).

2. At least make sansha dps and lock on times a little more realistic? I can understand if you get omgwtf owned by 50+ sansha battleships on warp in, but instapopped by ~5 battleships and ~3 frigs? Uh yea no thank you.

3. These incursions affect anybody who call the affected regions homes. Next thing you know, CCP will start droppin incursions on top of dodixie, jita. As fun as that might be, all it will become is an annoyance. With the initial impression they've put on the general populace, nobody will do them. Which will make this expansion useless for everyone, save for the wealthy and bored.

4. Why the warp gates? I was under the impression that these battles were gonna be fought planet side? Now all theyve become are meat grinder funnels for people who enjoy looting and watching people lose their ships. Are all pvp battles fought through warp gates? Oh gee, i thought i was an experienced player, oh silly me, maybe i should go out to 0.0 and pvp like the ultra really cool eve players in this game. Hey CCP, if you wanted to make incursions realistic, instead of just sansha godly dps and lock on times, you should let them pod kill players too, that will show everyone what REAL pvp is really like....LOL. Fail.

There used to be one overview category for "neutral pilot", which worked in the normal way categories do (selectable background, selectable icon, all that jazz). This showed all pilots who were either not contacts, or were neutral contacts.

There will now be one overview category for "neutral contact" and one overview category for "not a contact", both of which will work in the normal way categories do (selectable background, selectable icon, all that jazz).

Give me a break. One of the few things we can control that can actually be seen in the tiny pictures, and it isn't exactly topless. Crap you can see more any day of the week on network TV. Talk about puritanical.

You tie the players hands rather than fix actual errors. Whats with warfare links? PI? What a mess that is.

NOT cool.

Ok, I will. If you take 4 days I randomly pick in the next 2 weeks away from EvE.

For some of us, we only play on certain days. Not every day. And losing many of those days (evenings) to extended and early DT spoils our fun.

What happened to all these forum discussions regarding those who experience crashes every 5 minutes using Vista 64 ro Win7 64?? MAC? Are there so many users using MAC and not Win7-64 that makes CCP fixing them only? I believe we are a bunch just sitting idle waiting, filling bug reports and petitions in the hope that the new patch will allow them to...play again. No matter (at this time) the ingame bugs, the reduction in cap, addition of skill requirements for some modules that we already had, this is not as important as fixing the game itself so that at least we can experience something rather than just frustration. I have seen so many others that like me had perfectly stable systems until Incursion 1.1.0 and now are just waiting and hoping for the best as their system no longer works. I am not talking about old systems here, but systems that comply and surpass the requirements... I have always believed in Eve and CCP and like many others, have brought quite a few players in the game... I must admit that after seeing the patch notes...I am quite disappointed and yet nothing on the bug reports and the petitions...just silence. Give us at least some light, like: we didn't have yet the chance/time to fix the Vista & Win7 (64bits) issue but this is next. So at least we know we just have to set the skill training for long terms, forget about the game for a week or two until the next patch instead of browsing everyday every forums in the hope that there would be some good news. Or alternatively if some combination of Vista 64 and Win 7 64 with some graphic cards no longer work after the introduction of Incursion 1.1.0, we should be notified, update your compatibility (hardware) list and we can take our decision (sell something to buy a new system or OS (MAC??)) or just give it a quit all together.
But please: respect people and say something. In this patch notes, there is nothing about fixing, adjusting or addressing the problems affecting the ones that are simply grounded using Vista 64 or Win 7 64.

Fail.

If you've scanned most of the posts you will see that I'm one of those complaining about the outrageous level of difficulty fighting the Incursion. I still do believe that the capabilities of the Sansha is unrealistic; however ......

The point expressed by many is well taken and - whether us underling less skilled players like it or not - TRUE, that we do NOT have to participate in Sansha Incursion battles. They are (for now) at designated spots that are easily avoided by us low-life, unskilled peons. It seems readily apparent that the added Incursion functionality is geared almost exclusively for the highly skilled, heavily funded players. Ok. Fine. They deserve to have some fun also don't they? Remember fellow less skilled players, some day we will also be highly skilled and far, far more lethal. When that point is reached, we'll be glad that the Sansha a-holes are as tough as they are. It will challenge us, which is what makes EVE fun. Right?

In my opinion, Incursion actually focuses the real EVE intent. It causes one to plan (with advice from others) exactly how to approach skills training and what tactics to use instead of freely floating along with a "general" training plan and winging it alone to learn tactics. I screwed up by following a "general" plan for the past 5+ months, which leaves me unable to contribute like I could have with a more focused approach. For instance, by now I could easily have substantial logistics skills and a ship from which to use them. Instead, I'm stuck with over a month's worth of training required to get those MUCH needed skills. Sure, I can fly a BS and covert ops and other things, but all of them only with moderate lethality and skill. There are numerous similar examples. Whose fault is it that I don't have the skills? MINE! Who is really to blame for my inability to fight Sansha? ME! Embarassed

I don't like being unable to really participate in Incursion battles, but I will be able to eventually, and when that day comes I'll be happy as a fly on a fresh pile of crap and thankful that CCP didn't lessen the challenge.

So - my 2 cents worth - if you are a new or recent addition to EVE, seriously consider your training. If you train correctly (which I didn't do), you'll find fleets out there that will welcome what you can contribute.
