Happy enough to tide me over until they get the re-customizing in. However, this eyeshadow is no substitute for some good tattoos and accessories. Not that you can see it anyways due to the shadows. Laughing

The one thing people seem to have learned from their first effort is not to stand their avatars ten feet from the camera and put a lot of extra space above the head. I've noticed that avatars are looking much better now in the small chat window portraits.

For my part, I'm glad we had the opportunity for a do-over, since sometimes you think you want to go one way, then you look at it for a few days and realize you really wanted to go a completely different way. I'm much happier with what I have now than the arms-crossed, professorial-looking avatar I made the first time.

Yeah. My original 'new' portrait ended up looking like I was way off in the distance, totally out of scramble/web/nos range, to be sure. Razz

I'm still not sure I went close enough, but I can't stand the idea of having the top of my head cut off. Smile

I'm happy now, knowing pitfalls to avoid. The forum version of it is however still rendered weirdly.

The only thing left now is an option for a name change.

I no longer look like George Michael in a white leather jacket. I now look a bit craggier, balder and have a weird stare. It's all good. Thank you for the second chance at "New You" CCP. Very Happy

Still got my 2nd one to use, but seems little point as I know there's little I can do to improve it.

Could age the character, but age and skin hugging clothes don't mix that well.

in terms of pose, expression and "avatar looks at you" my recustomized pic is an upgrade, but as a whole it's a downgrade due to feckin' graphics glitch clipping crap >.<

Yes, much better. Mostly I just change the portrait. I left the modeling alone.

I practiced first on a throwaway slot and it looked great, then I messed up trying to mimic it!

I know CCP did not want to use virtual sliders for the facial poses and wanted to allow people to sculpt their characters, however I really really wish we had an option to also use sliders and type in numbers to get that grin just right or move the eyes perfectly.

The fact that the avatars MOVE while you are sculpting is really annoying too, you should at the very LEAST disable animation on your avatar during sculpting. They have Parkinsons right now and I just want them to STAND STILL!!!!!

Sorry to post again but I'm soooo happy that I finally made my Khanid look as I want, didn't think it was possible to overcome the new racial traits!

But the new patch apparently added darker blonde and so I took another chance .. changed eyes, eyebrows, eyeliner a little .. first time I'm really satisfied! ^^

I'm not satisfied again!!!! Crying or Very sad
Ugly pink felloe around my neck, that appears in first try - appears again.
This is bug, i think - felloe appears after 4-5 hours after saving picture.
I made screenshots for CCP, wrote 2 petitions - unanswered this time...
I believe that is a bug corresponding with specific Amarr bloodline avatar model.
Im not alone! ughCrying or Very sadEvil or Very Mad

The only change I did was to put a smile on my face and change what direction I look at. And it came out 100% better/lifelike then the original :).

I'm okay with mine. I really liked my old face and tried to create it the first time, but that didn't work. Did a totally new one

I didn't think I'd need to retouch mine, but after seeing the last one in-game I'm glad they gave everyone the chance to mess around with it again.

One thing that irked me was that the portrait on the Neocom wasn't scaled, but rather clipped, so part of the face can be missing.

Other than that, THANK YOU for the 2nd chance! The avatar I spent the longest on (many hours), still wasn't satisfactory once I saw the smaller icons in game and on the forums.
